I want to express my disappointment with my recent experience purchasing a Porter Airlines gift card through Cashstar. What should have been a quick, simple transaction for my mother's birthday turned into a frustrating ordeal.

I received an “unable to process transaction” error three times without any explanation. Thinking it might be an issue with my card, I contacted Cashstar directly, only to realize the problem was on their end.

This reflects poorly on Porter Airlines, even though I know the fault lies with Cashstar. Unfortunately, experiences like this make the airline appear less reliable by association. As a result, both Cashstar and Porter Airlines will be losing my business.

I hope this feedback encourages a review of Cashstar’s reliability and customer experience, as it directly impacts Porter’s brand.

They charge for the gift card and send a receipt email. Then within the same minute, they send another email saying that they were unable to process the order, yet the pending charge is still on my credit card. This company is trash and will be getting a chargeback if this posts to the credit card.

Similar to a lot of people’s experiences, they weren’t able to process my order even though they already took my money, and now I have to wait days for it to be refunded. When I bought my e gift card I got two emails at the same time, one saying my order was confirmed and the other saying they couldn’t process my order but wouldn’t give a reason why. I really have barely any money and I set that aside for a gift for the boy I babysit and now it’s going to take longer to get him a physical card cause I have to wait for my refund. Why wouldn’t it say the order couldn’t be processed BEFORE it took my money. To me that’s just not right, and also just doesn’t make sense from a business standpoint. Roblox doesn’t want my money I guess!

Bought a 10 dollar Roblox online gift card, went into their email gift card link, PAGE NOT FOUND. Customer support using AI. I'm surprised Roblox officially partnered with them for online gift cards, as they are borderline, if not, shamelessly a scam. I contacted customer support after a full 24 hrs of not getting my card. They said they didn't have any of my contact information, nothing. I do not recommend this at all. I'm currently trying to get a refund.

tried to buy 14 time a 25$ giftcard and was unable to process the giftcard, after that i contacted support and they say its a problem from system, i got refund after weeks, dont buying again never.

Tried to buy a giftcard for myself since i dont like connecting subscriptions to my bank, but they took the money and didn't give me the card. This is concerning since the site is also accessible directly from roblox.
Update: It took a long time but they have refunded me now, I still won't be buying from here again though.

SCAM WEBSITE. DO NOT BUY. THEY ASK FOR YOUR BANK INFO, RECIPIENT ADDRESS AND TELEPHONE NUMBER. I NEVER RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND NEVER GOT THE CARD. horrible and couldn’t get in touch with anyone either from the company.

How is this site even still up? It looks so official, it uses roblox logo. Seem associated. I ordered a e gift card, didnt arrive, customer service are stalling me telling me to wait. Processed a refund, that claimed to take 1-2 days. Hasn't arrived. Contacted them about that& the customer service agent is typing the same message over and over again for an hour. “Thank you for waiting, allow me two minutes to check your case” you reply with a normal question & they will repeat the same thing.
