Ridley Academy Arvostelua

Stephen Ridley make Music on Piano , simple and keep the students motivated . If you just begin piano or you have many years of piano lessons , you continue to improve your techniques and the interpretation of musical song. You feel the music with passion . Never forget your dream to learn piano, by learning with the Ridley Academy , Thanks .

Step by step teaching from the first. I play piano as my daughter used to play before leaving home and felt that piano needs a companion.
Joined the masterclass and decided to enroll to learn properly. With practice, I am sure that I will play good music with patience & continued practice.

I have tried many Piano lesson programs. But I never have advanced as much as with Ridley's Academy.
I thought it was brilliant to make us learn All the Scales before starting us on Music reading! It certainly got me out of the C scale I had been caught in for years!.

Stephen presents the course material in the piano masterclass in an easily understandable ‘bite size’ format with energy and enthusiasm that makes learning to play the piano fun. I used to play backing (just chords) keyboards in band and doing this course has filled in so many gaps in my knowledge of playing music. Highly recommended!!!

I have had eight piano teachers. i have learned more from the Ridley Academy then all the other teachers combined

I can play piano now!
The Ridley Academy is excellent! Tried and true! Scientifically proven teaching methods! Fantastic, effective and engaging step by step video tutorials from Stephen Ridley! Wonderful staff! Great community! They gave me the keys to my piano! This very Holiday season the family gathered around me to sing together as I played the piano! It was magical! I will forever be thankful! Thank you Mr. Ridley, for your genius, your vision and your unrelenting creativity!

I started with The Ridley Academy about a year ago as a complete beginner at 58 years old, and I honestly can’t believe how far I’ve come. I’m now playing the songs I love with real confidence, something I never thought possible when I first sat down at the keyboard.

What sets this online piano academy apart is their structured method. It’s not just random lessons thrown together - there’s a clear, logical progression that builds your skills step by step. The exercises are designed purposefully, and if you actually follow what Ridley teaches and do the work, you will see results. It’s that simple.

The teaching breaks everything down in a way that makes sense, even for someone like me who had zero musical experience. I never felt lost or overwhelmed because the structure keeps you moving forward at the right pace.

If you’re on the fence about whether you’re too old to learn piano or if online lessons can really work, I’m living proof that they can. Just commit to the method, do the exercises consistently, and trust the process.

The Ridley Academy delivers on its promise - fantastic results through a fantastic method.

Highly recommended for beginners of any age who are serious about learning to play.

Scales, chords, rhythm and musicality. Stephen Ridley is a master of piano, honest, inspiring, and desires all his students to experience success at the piano. The Ridley Academy masterclass and mentorship program has accelerated my learning of the piano. Stephen believes in all his students to become the artist you no longer have to “wish” to be. Anyone following Ridley methods will be playing the piano, know the history of piano, make your piano sing, and what makes it a beautiful instrument. Stephen genuinely cares for his students. The mentors are absolutely professional and continue to advance my education and ability to play my piano. I am in awe of my ability to make my piano sing in just 2 years.

As a beginner piano student, and at the age of 64, I have been very pleased with the amount of knowledge I have acquired through Ridley Academy. I’ve gone through the first three levels in the program, and they were really great. Stephen’s teaching method is clear and concise. He taught me about the piano and how to make the piano a part of my person and not just an object I was trying to play. He taught me to understand it and to develop a relationship with it, all before getting into the octaves, tones, semitones, notes, etc. The joy I have from learning about this instrument cannot be understated. I am looking forward to putting in the work to become a piano player, with the understanding that if I follow the Ridley Academy teaching method, I will have accomplished something that I have wanted for a very long time, which is to play and feel the music of piano. Thank you, Stephen, for all of your time spent in trying to make those who join your Academy a success!

I have a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. Oboe is my instrument. While I am a professional on the oboe, I decided to study piano in Ridley Academy. My keyboard skills were awful. Stephen curated the skills needed to master piano from zero knowledge to performing in front of people in two years or less. It is streamlined, effective, and exciting to learn this rapidly!

Stephen has a logical and fun way of teaching piano. I am currently filling in the gaps that I didn't get from my other teachers.

Everything is well thought out and easy to follow.

I am also in the Mentorship class with a one on one teacher who is also awesome.

As with anything in life, you get what you put into it. If you are serious and self-motivated, you can go as far as you want to with this program.

I took lessons as a youngster years ago and did learn to read music; however, I never really learned how to play properly and how to make a song my own. Ridley academy has given me the tools to succeed.

I’m compelled to express my continued excitement w/learning the piano. What daily encouragement we’ve been getting from the chat that was created for us to share and find motivation. There are few things in life that become so cherished because it has value to us & we have some kind of investment in it …. The 5 Day Challenge was one of mine …
Learning to play a song has always been a goal, and Stephen taught us in a week, made it accomplishable.
… 1st time hearing of a rift and understanding it (ha ha) and though hearing a continued pattern in music, understanding how it’s played is music to my ears

But a huge joy was when the winner of the piano: Patricia, showed a video of her new piano … we all had a chance to share in her joy … Congrats to her

And with the Challenge over … it continues in a large sense because there’s so much more to learn …
I’m glad to have already purchased the Ridley Academy Piano MasterClass … a little over a year ago, thankfully with monthly pymts using Affirm

When I opened the program and looked at the 1st video, what an Astonishing impression it made on me; … the video clarity, professionalism and clear instruction let me know that Stephen and his Team put their HEART & SOUL into making this a true masterpiece - An investment well worth it and I have no REGRETS !!!!!!!!

Playing the piano is one of my life’s goal and Stephen makes it worth Never giving up on ….
It’s now ATTAINABLE & FUN …. I just want
to know - where were you 30yrs ago :-)

Thanks Stephen and Team …. Never stop !!!!!!!

I am professional on music area (music therapist and musical instrument teacher) but piano is not my main instrument. I have now already been a member in the Masterclass for over a year, and been satisfied. The structure of the course is interesting, well-organized and the main line/target is there for a good reason. Little steps well organized: you can trust the process. When teaching any other instrument, this program is worth to benchmark. At least for me, "the old school music teacher", it has given new perspective and some new ideas. And: it is refreshing and tastes like life personally being a student, again, too. (The first selling videos I saw, for me were too Yankee-stylish, and made me think quite long, whether that is for me or not. Only after I heard Stephen to tell of his own history and more of his attitudes of being a musician and personal human being, I dare to take a risk and put the whole course in to test for me - and found his attitudes and goal to be those that I could sign. And that is the main thing for me, still.)
As a snack, and for the reason to give me extra boost with the keyboards (have been a bit lazy lately with them) I decided to take/look through the course named Easy Piano in 5 days, and it made the trick that I wanted, gave me personally the extra weight when weighting the pros and cons whether to take the Mentorship program now. The 5 days seems to be good kick-start for beginners, the idea of playing and the thrust that everyone can start to play is so clear there. (The only irritating thing for me still was, that it was so clearly the invitation course, and the reason to sell more courses was so overwhelming there - even it is understandable. But now I already can tolerate it better.)
The Mentorship program is expensive, at least in my finances, and I am really thankful that there were a possibility to go through the possible and impossible payment plans. So I could start it now! Much can I not yet say, but the first impression of the mentor chosen for me raises a positive predictability in me. Even the best students and best teachers, it does not always go ok - it is question of trust and personal compatibility. She seems to have patience to check properly where I technically am now, and respects my musical taste. Also, when I now have had lots of technical difficulties in loading videos, have the team in the Academy been really helpful. So: high hopes toward the Mentorship program have I now.

Ridley Academy is worth of 5 stars, then.

I like very much the vibe that stephen has, He makes people to believe in themselves just from the begining and his way of learning the piano gives a lot of enjoyment and fun to his students. Smartly he made a webiner that enables people to enjoy playing beautiful songs on the piano in 5 days even without the need to learn theory. He definitely teaches the piano in an interesting way. I Bought some classes during the webiner and i found them very useful - especially the 20 piano secrets in which you learn to play the chords in a much more beautiful way. I also want to thank Jack from his team who was very kind and helpful when i needed support. Thank you stephen and Jack.

Scale principle is easy to understand. It is like applying a math formula that will bring you at the right answer every time!

Learning with all the piano exercises with the Ridley Academy Masterclass is inspiring and fun. Stephen is the best piano teacher I've ever had. He is the opposite of boring. If you book the masterclass, you'll never regret it. Short chops to learn - ideal for people working full-time. 10 minutes a day is enough to progress fast.

I did not like the traditional methods and wanted to play pop music. Stephen Ridley's enthusiasm and energy is so totally contagious. The way he explains is clear, concise and make so much sense that you want to use it asap. He explains what is essential and useful for now. I am enrolled in the Masterclass and just love it. The music we learn, using chords is what we hear on the radio, not classical. No hours of practice per day! one thing at a time. If I miss a week, I have a reminder and encouragement. Support is also helpful. What a team!
I've just been through the 5-day piano challenge. We've learned how to play a song in 5 days from scratch. It was incredible and I was amazed I could do it because the steps were so well explained and
laid out.

The Ridley Academy is igniting my life long dream (so far postponed) to be playing piano and become a real musician. Singing classes are also made available in a separate class, they’re very useful. The step-by-step methodology given by Stephen is remarkably simple to follow, while the lessons are short, very comprehensive and offer continuity throughout the whole Masterclass. His dedicated passion in delivering it offers an amazing support in the pursuit of such musical achievement. I love it!
Thank you all! ✨ 🎹✨👌
