DecPlay Piano (Piano Made Easy) Arvostelua 748

This is a great way to learn the piano, I've tried other tutors but this appears to be be the most thought out for people like me, the older generation 60+ who want to learn the piano. Something we should have done when we were younger. I would certainly recommend, give it a try.

To be honest I have not got right into the programme but what I have done, I am impressed.
Finding it confusing in a good way about the keys and fingerings as I did 12 years piano many years ago and old habits die hard.😊

This piano course is perfect for me, a senior who hasn’t played in over 50 years. Really easy and fun from the first try, playing tunes I actually know. Love being able to progress at my own pace, adding new lessons whenever I have time and not tied to a teacher’s schedule. Pure fun!

I was able to play tunes very quickly. You still have to put the work in but the methodology does it make it all easier. I wish I had started with DecPlay earlier I am having a lot of fun.

I learnt a lot in a short time as the explanations for beginners are very detailed and so easy to understand. I was playing a couple of songs within a day. There are so many songs to select from which really surprised me. I am so happy I found Decplay. My days are filled with piano playing

I guess like many others, I am finding tunes easier to play with numbers. Using music notation, I sometimes have mental blocks, and cannot recognise a note before I have to play. This is especially so if the note is on a ledger line. I will still use music notation to play piano, alongside the Decplay method, as I do not want to lose that skill.

I am 83 and rather shaky. Declan inspires me to keep trying. I love the song sheets even if I keep trying to play both hands time after time.

Because it takes a great professional knowledge and insight to create such a fine teaching material on the Internet. I am a retired Business Consultant, so I think I understand the effort behind this.

Working with DecPlay feels much like having one-on-one lessons, and you can always count on the DecPlay Support Team for quick assistance whenever you need it. Additionally, students have the opportunity to connect and get support during monthly Zoom meetings hosted by the Support Team.

There are many positive things to highlight, but I’d like to end by thanking DecPlay for creating The Group DecPlay Piano, which allows members to share their experiences with each other. This platform provides valuable support. Additionally, I appreciate that the DecPlay Support Team carefully oversees activities and is always ready to help when needed.

I must mention one crucial benefit which is that students are able to manage their own pace during piano lessons and review instructions whenever they wish. Unlike traditional lessons, this flexibility offers an invaluable advantage compared to traditional teaching.

The main thing is the numerical notation on the music sheets, which I can follow. The Declan team is great and of course Declan himself. All the members seem very nice on ZOOM as well as on the Facebook site.

You wanted honesty: the only thing I don't like is the automatic renewal of membership fees. I realize that I can cancel at any time, but I liked your earlier program better which allowed up to 3 years access with the membership fee.

Music makes us happy …playing it it takes you to another level of happiness.
This course lets anyone play. It’s a very simple uncomplicated method that I have never seen before. Having struggled through many other apps this is instant and when you play a song for the first time in minutes you really have to tap yourself on the shoulder and smile
You have a free intro with Declan before you decide to commit Very good idea
There are many levels to purchase the intro is great to most people it Covers lots of lessons all done sympathetically and with joy. I love this so does my piano ! Now I’m playing it again. 100 recommend to anyone any age

I’m enjoying my experience with Decplay. I am finding the online course a little hard to follow and some things are repetitive. I do enjoy the Facebook chats but not so much the zoom calls as a beginner a lot of the questions are going over my head.

A very easy to follow teaching pattern that with practice gives quick progress to a complete beginner. If you do have any queries then Decplay are very happy and quick to answer any questions you may have.

Great Course easy to follow can do it at your own time and pace. Such a great feeling when you can play your first tune. Declan and the team are lovely and they are always there to help you if you have any questions. They have zoom meetings where you can participate and they have a breakout room where you can talk to other students. Also they have a buddy service where you can partner with someone else which is optional. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn piano you will have no regrets and wish you had done it earlier. Give it a try you will love it.

Decplay is absolutely fantastic, it’s a brilliant course and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to learn to play the piano. I have had great fun learning and achieved so much, it’s also very friendly and encouraging.

I am a 68 year old lady. A bit ADHD.... Started this course a few days ago.
Played my first song in under 10 minutes using both hands??????
This is an absolutely brilliant method!

Unfortunately I have had some repetitive server problems ,losing my e mail connections , hopefully this has been sorted now , I signed up with Declan plan in November 2025 ,I’m hoping you can send me my lessons plan again please .

Really enjoying the course although I’m not making as much progress as I d hoped.
I practice every day.
I would like to consider joining the larger group to get extra support. I am v motivated, although v frustrated too.
I have never played an instrument before, so I knew it would be a challenge.

Each lesson was well explained.. I love it because I was able to work at my own pace! And the first song to learn was simple enough for a beginner! I would highly recommend this method of learning!
