Rickard Chartered Surveyors Arvostelua

We recently sold our property through Rickards. We had an offer within 2 weeks and, although the sale process was long this was nothing to do with Rickards. They supported us throughout the process and were extremely good at keeping us informed.

Recently sold a house in Morpeth through Rickards.
Professional throughout, great communication and very helpful and accommodating.
Excellent service, highly recommended.

I recently instructed Rickards in Ashington to sell a property on my behalf and was delighted with how they've managed the sale.

The property went on sale on the Saturday and by Monday I had some viewings lined up, the first of which made an acceptable offer and the sale was tied up within days.

The office staff were friendly, supportive and helpful throughout the process from Diane initially coming to carry out the valuation and take the photographs through the the girls in the office dealing with telephone calls and emails.

I would recommend Rickard as a selling agent to anyone looking to sell their property.

Amazing service from all the staff but in particular Cheryl. It was a stressful move made a lot less stressful by the team at Rickards. Would not use any other company for a house Sale.

Rikards communication is 2nd to none and we had a wonderful service relocating my mum back home to Morpeth. Gillian is an absolute angel, professional, efficient, empathetic and made our experience excellent

Rickards offered us a thoroughly professional service throughout the sale/purchase process. Gillian and Cheryl responded to all enquiries quickly and efficiently. They updated us regularly on any new developments.

We can’t thank Gillian and the rest of the team at the Morpeth branch enough for their help throughout our first purchase. They were always just a phone call or email away if we had any queries and helped to ensure our transaction progressed as smooth as possible.

On 19/3/2024 at 13:05, I tried to call their office regarding the detail on the rightmove regarding the terrace located at Debdon Road.
During the conversation, I have politely asked the lady/salesperson, whether she can offer any further detail such as "floor plan" "photos" as I an interested in that terrace and wanna grab more detail in order to make deicion.
Unfortunately, the lady who picked up the line kept saying that" we have no photos, what is floor plan, ha?ha? I don't know, what??? What ? Floor plan? I don't know what is,floor floor plan, no plan", then I repeated asked her but she still teasing at me. As a salesperson, how come she doesn't know what is floor plan? The lady keep shouting at me over the phone, and said " floor plan? What is floor plan? I don't know, I don't understand what is floor plan....."
The attitude of this lady really aroused my anger, what she said not only demonstrated her customer service attitude was very poor, but also demonstrated she was not professional at all.
(The office should be the one at 17-18 Laburnum terrace, Ashington, NE63 0AJ)
After 30 minutes,13:39 of 19/3/2024 i rang the office again and anther one lady alleged to be the director of the branch picked up my call, she admitted that the lady was her subordinate, she also admitted that they can do better for this incident. However, they still failed to get back to me about the detail I have requested until now.
I wonder what they did already harm their business as they didnt know how to respect the clients, they are also unkind and not helpful at all.
I really feel disappointed towards this company.

I have to say that dealing with Rickard's was a very positive experience. From start to finish I was kept informed of progress on a regular basis. I was given assistance when I needed it. My contact was Sales Negotiator Gillian McLauchlan who provided me with all the relevant information. She was extremely helpful and she was very professional at all times.

A very good sale experience.
Realistic valuation and good advice. Good communications, prompt follow ups and responses to queries.
The team work well together and are very pleasant to deal with.

Brilliant service. As the purchaser we were kept informed at every point. The staff were friendly and professional. Would use again especially if selling.

Used Rickards couldn’t recommend them enough always answer the phone. Always on top of queries. They couldn’t do anymore 2 great experiences with them in 18 months. Gillian handled our recent sale- brilliant!
Ashleen , Cheryl & Gillian all great.

Richards’s were fantastic from valuation to completion… kept us update every step
of the way.
Special thanks to Gillian, who made sure we were informed on a daily basis with updates and advice. And would be happy to use again.

A horrendous experience with Rickard from start to finish - never again!

The service and value we were provided by Rickards when selling our property in Pegswood was excellent and we have no hesitation in highly recommending Rickards to other sellers and buyers. Everyone from Rickards involved with the sale was very professional.

Gillian of Rickard Morpeth is "Pure Class", she is an absolute professional and has unsurpassed industry knowledge. No request is too much and assistance with the purchasing process is offered without the need to ask. Advice about tradesmen and local facilities is readily available and the customer service is second to non. I was the buyer and was very lucky to have been introduced to Gillian and the Morpeth office. The team members I spoke with Cheryl and Ashleen all were fantastic, but for me Gillian was and has been an outstanding brand ambassador for Rickard. I was a buyer to begin with, and have ended up with a friend in Gilly. Thank you Rickard branch Morpeth. There is nothing more to say except they are Mint.

The whole team have been extremely professional and helpful in helping my elderly mother downsize to a new flat. Communication throughout the whole process was excellent. Queries were always answered promptly and we were kept up to date throughout.

Gillian and her team in Morpeth have been great at helping us find our new home - from arranging a day of looking at similar houses, to squeezing us into last minute viewings. When we put an offer on a house, Gillian has kept us up to date throughout the whole process - chasing up the right people, and ensuring everything went smoothly. Rickard have been great at communicating with us throughout the whole process of us buying and we would recommend anyone to use Rickard in future.

Have just sold my house through Rickards and couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Gillian guided me brilliantly through the whole process and put up with my endless phone calls, queries and concerns with the utmost patience. She chased things endlessly on my behalf until the process was complete. Thank you so much!
