Who hasn't sat there watching (continuously refreshing) Soundcloud just to see the song you spent weeks on get barely 20 listens, let alone likes or reposts. This site has seriously given me confidence in my own music by presenting me with a community of my peers where we can all support each other and improve and promote our work. The website is fun and I've never felt like I've had to pay to get benefits, and I've both used it as a free customer for a long time and a paying one. I've earned credits to promote my music just through listening to other people's tracks and sharing my favourites, and I've also bought credit packs which have never felt over priced or out of reach financially. The site almost feels like a freemium game and I look forward to getting on first thing every morning. 100% a must have for any music maker looking to promote on Soundcloud and monetise their music!

This is Pretty amazing, RepostExchange has taking whatI thought to be a few new listeners to almost 13,000 in just a little over 1 month, with my songs, Thunder, I want it now, Wont fade away and so on….

This app has really helped me get my mixes heard, gain international exposure, and grow my followers. It has also built a great community where creators and artists support each other. Super useful and highly recommended — I’m really happy with it!

I've been producing music since 2010. About 3 months ago I started using Repost exchange to give a little traction to my music. I had an issue with reposting and requests. Not only did I get a response from them within an hour, They fixed my account on the spot, and I was able to repost with no issues. Since using repost exchange, My fan base has grown organically with real people listening to my music, and organically following me as an artist. I would highly recommend this service to upcoming artists and producers. They get a 5 star from me all day!

The site has recently changed its policy to try to "level up" the disparity between those with a large following and those just setting out on their journey.
However, there are still flaws.
Artists with tracks that have been streamed countless thousands of times, can still ask for reposts and followers that they don't actually need.
The premium rate artists have to be followed for at least two weeks, otherwise you lose your credits - and that's even if they start following you back for a couple of days and then pull the plug.
The site is over-run with electronic, EDM and House music - most of which is either AI generated rubbish, or just rubbish for the sake of it.
Any DAW can produce most of this stuff with a couple of clicks.
I posted a track, gained over fifty followers and not one of them stayed past the first week.
The site preys on the insecurities of those chasing numbers, followers and fake flatterers.
Take it with a pinch of snuff.
It's not brilliant or particularly helpful.

Repostexchange has some good points. But it also is totally out of step with reality. It used to be that unless you were a paying member, you would have to trawl through making comments, liking tracks and which would need several before you could run a campaign running with at least 50 credits. But accounts with more followers would quickly suck that up in one repost often without even liking your track just to take the whole credits in one. Result being much more invested than received back.
There is currently a pilot scheme where I get 10 credits per repost as I have over 500 followers which you now get if you have 1 to 1000 followers. Previously I would get 6 credits. But now I need 200 credits to run a campaign. I will see how much more if any engagement I get with this system.
Now you must listen longer to a track in order to be able to repost which is right.
But the problem remains fundamental. Repostexchange pointed out in a message to everyone that the trial owed to the changes in online music which in brief means reposting your music means diddley-squat in reality. Reposts don't work anymore. So it is time repostexchange understood the logic and changed its name to music meet or something where artists meet to engage with each other where repost is not necessary but liking commenting listening is. Everyone needs to work harder and give more to get more back.
We need to ditch the whales gobbling up the plankton so they can get even fatter on everyone else's effort that gets poorly rewarded. Even this pilot doesn't do enough to rebalance this core issue.

The best way to meet and hear artist from all over the world. Repost Exchange is truly a game changer.

After discovering Repost exchange from a buddy-ing artist, I find it to be a useful tool for upcoming creators who can network and find similar producers who make music. I'm happy to be part of the community however im not sure its a tool for getting your name out there, it works like a sharing app. It's good for your numbers but thats about it. I will continue to enjoy working alongside RX as im a still finding my audience and RX is really helping me to branch out.

I used to love this platform, it gives real plays, connect people but in the last year and specially last months the I pay more and more and get less and less.

Very easy to use and quick instrument to promote your music. I was surprised by the trusted community of music experts this service created - they always write honest reviews when they enjoy your music or simply decline your request when they don't.

An active community of REAL creators, you network and learn, features such as enabling detailed feedback of your track are incredible, thanks to the repostexchange team

This has been the most useful way to share music I have ever found, 100%.
You can tailor your campaigns to the specific listeners that you want to target, and the incentivized feedback cultivates lots of engagement.

A driven artist who contributes to their community can benefit hugely from this.

Lets talk money.

You can absolutely benefit for free, but it will take diligence. If you enjoy listening to/browsing indie artist, commenting, and networking this will be fun and beneficial. Personally I dedicate some time each day to maxing out my reposts and giving as much feedback as I can. This gives me enough tokens 'passively/freely' to run a pretty decent campaign every night that can reward a good track with a decent platform/listens/reposts.

If you have money to pump tokens I could see someone taking off quick from here with raw talent, but even the developing artists will find a nice boost to their listens and following.
