I used this for my latest release on SoundCloud. I have gotten repost and comments specific to my song. I really like using RepostExchange

The reason I endorse Repost Exchange is this: It helped me grow my SoundCloud following from 700 to almost 1200 followers over the last 2 years. I was stuck on 700-730 for about a year. It opened up collab projects as well. THANKS REPOST EXCHANGE!!!

The biggest mistake users (lead by marketing buzz) make: treating it as a promotional tool rather than a social exchange.

If you want followers > you won't get any, unless you pay someone for being your follower

If you're counting on an algorithmic boost > forget it, even if you pay for it

If you're paying a subscription hoping for "reach" > "maniacal laughter"

If you're calculating ROI > logout and forget

1. Don't be fooled. This platform isn't a substitute for paid promotion elsewhere. Here, you're simply begging for reposts, comments and likes for your tracks.

2. The impact on promoting a song for a newbie is as follows: 500 credits, depending on whether you manually pester other users for reposts or entrust it to an automated campaign system, will bring you a maximum of 30-50 listens. Most of them are "earning points" and will shut off your music after 15 seconds.

3. Accounts with massive followings don't guarantee reach; they're mostly bots. Spending 100-200 credits on a repost by someone supposedly followed by 10,000-20,000 people might yield 2-3 plays.

4. RE cannot define itself and has changed the rules of promoting songs many times in last few years.

I’m a small artist on SoundCloud with a limited number of followers, and I’ve been using RepostExchange as a way to get my music heard and connect with other creators.

There are definitely positive aspects to the platform. I like the idea of a community-based exchange where artists support each other by listening, reposting, and engaging. For smaller accounts like mine, it’s encouraging to be able to earn credits by being active, even without having a large audience. When you genuinely participate, it can help your tracks reach new ears.

However, my main issue is with the recent update to the credit system. While it’s true that earning credits can now be faster in some cases, the price of credits in the store has increased significantly. For small or independent artists with limited budgets, the cost feels disproportionately high. The value of what you get in return doesn’t really match the prices being asked, in my opinion.

What used to feel like a collaborative and accessible tool now leans more toward a pay-to-boost system. I understand that the platform needs to be sustainable, but the current pricing makes it much less attractive for emerging artists who already invest a lot in their music.

Overall, RepostExchange is still a good concept with a solid community, and it can be useful if you’re willing to put in the time. That said, I hope they reconsider the credit pricing to keep the platform fair and accessible for smaller creators.

Hey there, my name's 64LUXURY. I've been using RepostExchange since early 2020 (went by names such as luxury (lux), the yapper, and deadbeats: songs such as "Up On The Top" with 43k plays, and "I Cannot" which had 21k at the time) This website has done nothing but regressed and here's why:
- Started off with cheap pricing, now is ridiculously overpriced.
- New "Balancing" of credits removed incentive to even use the platform, as it is hard to gain followers and the platform rewarded those who worked hard to get exposure and engagement on SoundCloud. Now it's a flat 10 credit repost, whereas before it was 2 per repost at anything lower than 100 followers after ever 100 followers you would gain a credit. Its unrewarding and DRAINS credits practically forcing you to PAY for more credits.
- Reviewing someones track SHOULD NOT be PIER REVIEWED BY AI FOR SCORING, THE REPOSTEXCHANGE TEAM SHOULD. PERIOD.
- The platform is built on the foundation of overpaying for a potential to blow up, not a promise. You are paying QUITE the premium. For about 200 plays. (2500 credit package, $76 worth of value only got me 200 streams, in the past "2021" i would have gotten ~1,200 with that package easily.)
- Scummy admins who ban you from reposting on their website for seeking out other methods of promotion and playlisting (Repost, you can be sued for this).
Overall its a good way to get feedback from other artists, as for exposure seek other methods of promotion, or better yet promote over on spotify rather than SoundCloud.

Actually blown away. As a musician who's worked grassroots for years. Re-post has very quickly helped myself and one of my collaborating singers gain traction. Something this particular singer has a needed for years. There's a big backstory there but let's make sure this review is focused on the great team at Re-Post who finally gave her the mojo back to get back in asap and not give it up. Defo recommend. Give them a go it's nothing but great 👍

I have been using RepostExchange for a long time and overall I am very satisfied. I especially appreciate the fast and reliable support – when I had a problem, they solved everything promptly and without unnecessary complications. I also like the fact that new fans often appear here, who come to my music naturally through reposts and not just out of habit of clicking on exchanges.

The credits are set fairly, as is the feedback system based on ranks, which motivates people to actually listen and comment. The only downside for me is the price of the monthly subscription—it's a higher item, especially when you don't have a big budget. On the other hand, there are sometimes discounts when buying credits or even free months of the Artist plan, which is great. It's just a shame that the Artist plan doesn't include more features from the higher packages, which I can't afford at the moment.

Overall, however, I rate RepostExchange positively – it helps me expand my audience, discover new artists, and gain higher-quality engagement.

I would say this is a great website and is very good for growth as an artist The only problem is there isn't enough users but if the website grows I could see this being a five, if there was some way to have SoundCloud officially endorsed this it would be amazing not only for the artist but also for the platform

It used to be areally good platform to share, but since they slashed the credits you earn by 50% UNLESS you buy a subscription, then you don't get any credits to post your own tracks out I.e. it used to cost 2 credits to cost between 2-50 credits depending on on the number of followers the person had. Now it cost 10 credits MINIMUM no matter who you send them to, plus they take 5 credits away unless you pay a monthly subscription and to get the other 5 credits you have to like, follow, comment, follow an additional person who has no connection to the song you're sent so you end up with a list of spam people in your friends and all in total you get between 1-5 credits back, not even enough to post one track out. How unfortunate because it used to be a great way to interact with other artists. Now its just a place where people want likes, how sad

They have done an amazing job creating a way for artists to stay actively engaged with their fans/supporters on the platform!
