Rent Plus Arvostelua 

Arrogant people, they charged us twice for the insurance. I bought insurance through the website (with different company) and been told then we need to buy another one exactly from them (rent plus). It was our first time experience with renting the car so we didn't argue.
We realised lately that they shouldn't charge us. But we couldn't really argue with those arrogant people.
Now we learned a lesson.

We wanted to rent a car in Prague for the day and we booked a car from this company through a broker. When we got there in the morning we were told that we need to pay extra €55 to cross the border to Germany although we already stated our intentions of doing so while booking and there was no extra charge required. The staff was rude and careless. They try to make everything difficult and pressurise you to pay extra fees. We decided to cancel at the end and didn’t take the car. Still waiting for our refund..

I got subscribed for RentPlus by my apartment agency without any communication and now I want to unsubscribe but RentPlus website can't find me!!

I feel like I was scammed :(

At first looked like a good deal. Then at pick up I was told if I don't get their comprehensive insurance I would get no assisstance from them outside the Czech Republic if break down or accident. That doubled the hire cost.
5 weeks after returning home I got an email with alleged traffic offence and a letter from RentPlus saying "do not pay, we have already paid on your behalf", which I could see on my bank statement. However the offence was allegedly committed in the Czech Republic while I and the car were in Italy. I sent evidence of accommodation, fuel and toll purchases from Italy and asked for a refund, but never heard back from them.
Will not be using them again.

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY, AND POLICE NOR THE AUTHORITIES WILL NOT HELP. They are going to charge your money without any permission and reason. First of all, they have a ridiculous DEPOSIT amount, and it's not blocked but charged. THE WORS SERVICE.

CHEAP PRICE MEANS BIG SCAM and if you go for it you will pay the price for being foul.

I advise doing the collective claim against the company. If there are any good lawyers, please help us do so.

The worse service I ever used.

Awful experience. I’ve never seen a more fraudulent company in my life. They charged me twice the insurance fee, which was already included in the original contract. But the worst thing came later, when you notice and you try to solve the “mistake”. Rude desk employees both at the airport and in the city. They ask you to write an email and nobody answer, you go again and you receive again impolite words and absolutely any solution. When you ask for the claiming sheet they tell you they don’t have. A theft.

I was first happy with the car, it's condition and the pricing. These folks decided to charge me extra amount from the card after the car was returned in ideal condition. The charge amount was twice as bigger than the price for car rental. The reason is that the car was used without permission to cross the border. This was the initial intention and I called them regarding this matter prior to paying for car rent. I was not told that I need any additional confirmations or there are any penalties that may come into force. Avoid this company by any means.

I have selected this company as it pop up on me while booking my flight ticket with airlines. Booking went smooth. When we have arrived to pick up the car we were told that the car we selected ( Volkswagen up 2021 model guaranteed) is not available and they will upgrade us for bigger car for same price ( Skoda Fabia combi) We were not so happy about it as we really wanted a small car but we didn't wanted to delay the trip. We were told that we have selected the basic insurance and it would be better to add the one they offer for extra 70 euro as if something will happen we will need to pay the damage to them and after claim it from the airlines company we booked through.

Before leaving we have asked the gentlemen if anyone will come with us to check the car for any existing damages but he said its not necessary and if we see anything to come back and let him know.

We have investigated the car and found 2 scratches on the back side of the car and also the fuel tank was not full as stated on our contract but 2 lines were missing.

We have returned all the way back and informed the guy. He didn't even bordered to come to check and mark the damage of the car on the enclosed paper work.

When we have returned the car we have handed all the necessary paper work to the guy on shift and asked him if he wants to check the car before we leave and again was told its ok. He asked us if we have top up the petrol and I have explained to him yes to the way as it was handed to us ( even we left a bit more) and explained it was not a full tank when we took the car and that it was mentioned to the staff on duty that day.

Two days after returning home I have been charged 28 euro to my guaranteed card with no explanation or receipt.

I have sent several emails to the office at the airport and also head quarters asking for the reason of the charge ( Of course if I would have any pending penalty etc. I would be happy to pay for it) and a receipt but with no reply. I have called for several days, but with no reply or they just hang up on me ( When my sister tried to call the same number from Czech number they picked up immediately)

So please always check the fuel and damages and take pictures and dont leave without written note from the staff about it.

I will have to deal with my bank regarding this as I will not let it go.
Its not about the money but the principle.

I want to know what I was charged for. If you charge my card, please inform me and send me a receipt. All my contact information has been collected upon registration.

I will not recommend this company and will not do business with them again.

Rentplus refused to provide us with a replacement vehicle when we were involved in a minor accident. They told us that this was because we did not pay 150 Euros for their insurance policy. This is not shown on their rental contract. We already had excess insurance from the UK. They left us 2 hours away from Prague to make our own arrangements to get back. We had to go Sixt to rent another car to continue our holiday. We are currently in legal dispute to reclaim our losses.

REN+ Prague International Airport

I have rented Vehicles around the world and have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism, vehicle supplied as described through a third party site (economybookings.com) part of the bookings group. The REN+ staff all male no customer service training, no idea. No discussion of the security deposit amount, I was charged 45,000.00CZK which equates to $2,736.00 AUD, on return of the vehicle the staff then joked the deposit would be returned in two weeks, when I questioned that he charged his story to it depends on your financial institution. I will never do business with REN+ and no individual globally from my company.

DO NOT RENT FROM REN+

Hired a car for 1 and they took security deposit of 15000kč. The fuel tank was just under 3/4 and they said fuel had to be full to full or same to same. I filled up at airport for return of vehicle so it was just slightly under full but they charged me 743kč for refuelling. Con of a company and not had a email back when I disputed this

Rude and unfriendly reception. They deducted, not only froze, the EUR 800 deposit from my bank account. They only returned EUR 550 of the deposit after I handed back the car. I returned the car with full tank and no damages. After trying to contact them several times, I got an e-mail stating that I crossed the border to Germany, and that was the reason they took the money from my deposit. I crossed the border to Germany for 2 hrs, and I had insurance with them covering 100% - and also Germany. Never saw my EUR 250 again....

This company scams customers by changing their T&C's . By reading others reviews I am wondering why international brookers are still partners with them.
Because presenting my german driving licence I got the term (only in Czech Rep. permitted) on my contract (which where not there when booking through bookingdotcom).

We hired a car for 7 days and while we were standing on the airport with 2 family ,s and a little child, they charged 200. Euro more deposit than agreed ( 1800 euro,s !!). So, when we want to pay the rest deposit on an other creditcard, they refused.
We didn’t get the car at all despite all our solutions.
After 2 hour of argument and trying to give the extra 200, deposit in an other way of with another creditcard, we had to rent a car from another company. We didn’t got anything back from our payment for the whole week.

Fraud. Car returned on time, in same condition, and with full tank of fuel. Got back to UK and 2 days later 10,000 czk charge made to credit card. No explanation - avoid this company like the plague.

do not hire a car with RENTPLUS , they will ask you to leave a deposit and a day or two after you return the car they will take your money !!
they took 500$ from me without any explanation. they do not return emails and hardley answer the phone!!

IT IS A SCAM. Read the reviews below me. We rented a car and brought it back without any scratches (which is a miracle in Napoli). They charged us 500 EUROS for a SCRATCH that was already there. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I repeat, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

Problem with hire car EPC light called emergency for three hours. Eventually told problem is known and to keep driving. Told if I wanted replacement car I would have to drive to Brno or Prague. Made my whole trip stressful and uncertain.

I myself would not trust this company. The idea is good. And hope better companies offer this service. I tried to contact them. And never could get a response. My opinion is someone is just trying to setup a popup website. That is automated and main goal is collect fees. And I am a landlord that was interested in giving them new business. So if I cant contact them. God help anyone that has a problem.
