This is the worst carpet company out there if you need to claim on your insurance and they want to use this company please for your own peace of mind refuse ex specially if your in East London area I had my claim in July 2022 and they didn’t fit until Jan 2023

Very helpful and quick with good quality work

If you’re looking for reviews of Renew you’ve probably had some some contact with them as handlers in an insurance claim. They are a ‘subsidiary’ of Cavalier carpets in Blackburn. They have a nice little app that offers you a paltry cash settlement when first assessing your claim and a man with a van with tape, needles and a carpet cleaner in for repairing your carpet. This is the carpet that you’ve likely got accidental damage cover for, that comes with a sizeable excess. Cash settlements are low. Bear in mind they are invoicing your insurance company so they want to keep your payout down. What could be paid towards your claim settlement is paid towards Renew.

So if you’ve paid for like for like, new for old replacements on your cover, be prepared. Make do repairs and low offers are what they’re about. As good as it gets seems to be an offer of a ‘Cavalier Carpet’ which their friendly assessor will tell you is just as good, if not better than your Axminster from Arighi Bianchi.

So think and act while they do their thing. If you’re unhappy, tell your insurers. I told my insurers I was switching to another company because of Renew. I found an insurer with a cheaper excess and a better level of service and cover.

They will try and minimise your claim! Be warned.

Made the claim process very simple. I am surprised how easy and straightforward it was. All done via mobile portal and online form. Just had to upload some photos and videos and basic details and the claim was approved.

From the advisor that dealt with my claim, to the gentleman who visited my property - both were professional and very helpful. I was made to feel at ease , even though it was very stressful to deal with everything. I can not fault rennew.

I wish I could provide zero stars. Carpet right sent this company to my house to inspect an expensive carpet that I had for three months that was of horrendous quality. The inspector 'acted' understanding and in my favour until I received a report which stated we wore 'high traction footwear' and used a hoover which I DO NOT own. (I have had confirmation from Dyson that I am using the correct hoover also.) I was told this was due to the area I had used my carpet. They were untrue and complete upsetting lies which seemed to favour the company. Can i just add that the carpet description was 'a carpet made for heavy use, high traffic areas, made of high-quality materials.' As a couple, with a brand-new house, we have never worn shoes or even slippers past our front door. I also contacted Renew who agreed that they hadn't changed my hoover in the report but still failed to change any information or complete another inspection. Please do not trust this company to complete an unbiased inspection in your home!

Awful wood flooring inspection.

I would avoid these guys as much as possible, they work to the benefit of the manufacturer rather than to provide a clear consistent service. Our wood flooring rose by 4 inches leaving a huge crater. Our inspector suggested he had never seen anything like it. I explained a small area by the window had a smaller expansion gap as it would be cut in a straight line before silicone application - as is standard. The company used this to extrapolate no expansion gap and sided with the manufacturer. Fairly pathetic, I'm minded to invite an independent inspector and take legal action

Excellent service throughout. Renew where texting me as I’m still on the phone to the insurance company reporting the damage. Didn’t use the carpet samples they provided so they paid out into my account in 7 days. Can’t recommend them enough
