Reliable Skip Arvostelua

Be cautious using Reliable Skip Hire if your project timeline may change. I paid an additional £180 via a payment link they sent me to secure a two‑week extension. Despite taking the payment, and without informing me that the extension wasn’t guaranteed, their subcontractor arrived and removed the skip on the very day the extension was supposed to begin, leaving my project stranded.

When I raised this, Operations Director Paul Bennet acknowledged the subcontractor error and confirmed in writing that the £180 would be refunded immediately, and that I would need to book a new skip. This has left me at least £54 out of pocket, which they refused to refund or discount against a new hire.

I followed up asking them to reconsider, given they had acknowledged the error, but I’ve had no response. On top of that, the £180 refund never appeared in my account, so I’ve had to raise a dispute with my bank. I’m now having to pay an additional £234 for a completely new skip just to keep my project moving.

Unprofessional handling, poor communication, and a failure to resolve an issue they admitted was their mistake. Based on my experience, I would avoid.

Great experience, drop off and pick up was very punctual. Staff were very friendly.

Good value service. Was useful to get rid of a lot of rubbish.

They were quick reliable .Very polite driver and customer service. The online app os alot easier to use than many you use .Simplicity seems to be key to use .Collection was prompt and quick and plenty time with theb2 weeks given unlike many charge extra for the second week.

Reliable had a skip to me within 48hrs and mine wasn't the easiest place to deliver to. Picked it up bang on time too.

You really do get what you pay for and I'm glad I checked reviews and choose to go with Reliable.

Great service - skip arrived on time. Very flexible as I had to amend collection date & picked up at 10AM on new date. Highly recommend this company & best price on ‘any’ local skip hire in Cardiff or South Wales. I would 100% use this excellent company again.
