Bought for Christmas gifts after reading article about the company.Nice packaging and I love the pretty infuser-and I am told the loose tea is delicious so now need to treat myself.Also like the backstory and social initiatives behind the company.

These teas are of the BEST quality, at totally fair prices. Ethically grown and harvested, with some money going towards education. I want a *good* cup of tea, or else why bother?

Excellent range of teas backed by good descriptions. They're not the cheapest, but they are committed to paying - directly - their suppliers a decent amount. I get why they don't work with Fairtrade (only 10% of a product needs to be fairly-traded to qualify) and it's great Rare Tea also help via a linked charity, albeit it's not clear from company accounts what percentage of revenue is passed on to the charity. The gushiness of emails can be a bit much, but that's a minor quibble. Overall, some lovely teas worth buying again and again.

This tea is wonderful! Not bitter, no plastics, just clean with great flavor! I only tried 3 blends and all were amazing.

I have just received the prettiest tea strainer that will grace my tea table and be a special treat to use. These little things do make a big difference! It's of outstanding quality, as I am sure all the Rare Tea products are, and I experienced absolutely lovely customer service. Thank you very much indeed - I will certainly be a returning customer!

The Rare Tea staff were great to deal with. The only negative is that my order took quite a while to get to me (although admittedly I am in Australia)

Finding the teas from the Rare Tea Company has been a real pleasure. I have taken on board their advice that they give for preparing and drinking tea and since then I enjoy the delicate flavours of premium teas every morning at approximately 25p a cup. The Rare Tea Company also does valuable support work for the tea workers and their families so that their livelihoods can be maintained, their children educated and the world can continue to enjoy these specialist products.
