Customer service is great and the tea is excellent.

I very much enjoy the selection of teas available. Service, when ordering, is prompt (have not had other interactions as of yet to comment on).
I hope to one day get to participate in one of the online sessions to learn about various teas, etc (these usually happen on a day & at a time that I need to work.
Learned to enjoy black tea without milk!!

Tea is fantastic, service and price were great.
The only negative was having to receive the order from USA. I would prefer supporting the UK rather than the US.

I have to thank my daughter-in-law, who offered me some Rare Tea Earl Grey when she came to visit me in Switzerland, where I live. The aroma and flavour are absolutely unrivalled. Since then, I can’t drink tea from another brand, as it seems bland in comparison. Despite the postage and customs charges for Switzerland, I will definitely buy some more because I simply can’t do without it. I bought the refills, as I already have the metal tin, and I think that’s a really clever and eco-friendly idea.

The quality and variety of tea is excellent. My sole gripe is that I have to use my phone or computer to find out recommended brewing times and temperatures. I don't have my phone constantly on me, and even if I did it's extra friction to get it out, fire up the camera and scan the code, or type in the URL. The code is individual to each tea, as is the tea name so you're doing special printing for each tea. Just print the temperature and brewing time on the pack instead of the code; it should be no extra work for you and much simpler for me. I've taken to writing temperature and time on the pack with a freezer pen so that I only need to faff around with my phone once. It's still annoying.

Even if I don't like every single tea I buy from Rare Tea Company, they are all interesting, and most are wonderful. I truly appreciate how they are sourced from sustainable farmers. I highly recommend the Rare Tea Company.

Me decidí a probar algunos de los tés de Rare Tea Company después de conocer la historia y a las personas y comunidades que hay detrás de cada uno de ellos en el libro de Henrietta recientemente publicado en español y he de decir que me ha encantado descubrirlos. No podría elegir porque cada uno tiene su singularidad, (y ¿para qué elegir si hay un momento para cada uno?) pero la delicadeza del Silver Tip White me parece excepcional. Sin duda seguiré probando y descubriendo nuevos sabores.

It’s so hard to find good teas in my city, I am really grateful for Rare Tea for having a great selection of teas, with information on where it’s sourced, and with a promise of fair trade practices. The quality is great, and I have found so many new teas and I feel like my knowledge of teas has grown since shopping here. Thank you all!

Great service!! Ugly chawan that I actually use all the time because the inner dimentions, inner texture and shape are perfect for whisking Matcha powder. I recommend it!!!!

The rare tea company is definitely on a mission to bring rare tea to the masses. I subscribed to them after listening to an episode of APM Splendid table that featured the founder Henrietta. Her passion for the teas drove me to purchase a subscription for 6 months. While I enjoyed the first box, the second tin was not to my satisfaction. Primarily, the instructions for the infusion are hard to find. This was reported and resolved by the Rare tea team. I'm convinced that they are doing their best to make rare teas accessible to those of us trying to understand it. Given the excellent customer care, which is a rarity, I'm sure to be back to try one more tins and they will make great gifts. It's nice to see a company stand behind it's products and mission, for that I give them a five star rating.
