Honestly the cup doesn't stay put any way you put it having to take it in and out to see what it says is worse than a DUI. I paid for the upgrade. I haven't seen any light ever. I was told take the paper to the DMV they don't except it. Has to be done electronically. So know I'm 20miles from home. With a revoked license. Nice. Can't blame anyone but me. I got the DUI. I don't know how to take care of this because you have to get the interlock before your legal to drive. ?????????WoW . Then you get your license taken away for ever.. nice job with the cup. I enjoy it rolling around on the floor boards.

took a while to install but it worked out just fine
the service guys were professional and well mannered. the install took longer than i thought it would, but the guy did have to go under my hood and all that stuff. overall it was a good experience and quickstart did me a solid.

The device is too sensitive
The device is too sensitive. I brushed my teeth and used mouthwash. 10 minutes later the device still wouldn't let me start my vehicle and recorded it as a FAIL. Knowing this information is forwarded on to MVD I have concerns that additional time will be added on if I get too many FAILS, i am not going to stop brushing my teeth or using mouthwash. Also, the device takes too long to, WARM UP. Sitting there with my ignition on for more than 20 seconds isn't good for my solenoid or my starter. I understand why I have to comply with this Court Order but I fear the device has the potential to create more harm than good. The sole purpose is to deter drinking alcohol and driving while under the influence. There shouldn't be concerns about non compliance for mouthwash or unnecessary damage to my vehicle due to prolonged electrical contacts. Starting my vehicle shouldn't be confused with a religious ceremony of having to hummmm for a prolonged period of time. What is the purpose of humming? Blow and Go should be the moto! Test your breath for alcohol record the results and move on.

We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns. All Ignition Interlock Device (IID) settings are dictated by state regulations. Please note that the IID will register any trace of alcohol from any source containing it - this is how the device effectively ensures an impaired individual is not able to start a vehicle, and how we are able to confidently state the Quickstart ignition interlock is fulfilling its purpose. We suggest using alcohol-free mouthwash, which is readily available these days. Also, simply rinsing your mouth well with water before testing should help clear any mouth contaminants that can cause fails.
Regarding the device warm-up time - it's important for interlock devices to come up to temperature to read your breath sample properly. Your vehicle concerns, you do not need to keep your ignition on while the device warms up, you can simply turn the ignition on to get the device powered up, then turn it back off again.
All interlock companies are required to use a human-detection factor to ensure the test is taken by a person rather than a machine or apparatus. Our humming requirement fulfills the state and national regulations regarding this.
So far it has been a good experience

Have had the worst experience with…
Have had the worst experience with quick start. Going on week 2 and still have yet too receive a call from someone regarding the damages done too my truck while they installed my interlock. And to top it off i was told I'd be charged x amount and next day i check my account and they had charged me 3 times the amount.
