I found Jo at Loughborough Physiotherapy through the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Temporomandibular Disorders (ACPTMD) specialist list while searching for someone experienced in treating TMJ problems. At the time I was struggling with severe jaw pain and very limited mobility, and it was having a big impact on my day-to-day life.

From the very first appointment, Jo was incredibly knowledgeable, reassuring and thorough. She took the time to properly assess what was going on with my jaw and explain everything clearly so I understood both the problem and the treatment approach.

Over the course of a few sessions across several months, the improvement was honestly life-changing. My jaw opening increased significantly, the pain reduced dramatically, and my jaw now feels far more stable and comfortable than it did before. The exercises and treatment she provided made a huge difference.

Jo is not only highly skilled but also kind, patient and genuinely invested in helping her patients recover. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone struggling with TMJ or jaw issues.

I rang for an appointment without recommendation with a problem with my knee. I was discharged today feeling 100% better
I attended on 2.2.26 and have had 3 follow-up appointments with Adeola at the Sale Clinic. She listened to me as I told her about my knee/leg and she had be stretch, touch, bend etc and then had me lie on the couch and she put her band on just the place on my leg that was the most painful. Adeola explained what damage I had done to my knee and explained how and what the damage was. With massage (painful at first), exercises and rest for a month I was able to restore the leg/knee to a painless state. I thank Adeola for her thoroughness, advice and guidance.

From booking the original appointment, the welcome on site, the treatment received and the professionalism shown had been first class. I felt very well looked after at what was a difficult time for me.

Jo Hartshorn's excellent knowledge, skills and experience are obvious. I went to see her about migraine and also received great advice about hypermobility and the latter has been hard to find. The sessions are not cheap but you are accessing a great resource. And she's really nice too!

Mrs Harshe Gadre is a very good physiotherapist ,she's very competent on explaining exercises clearly ,extremely pleasant and friendly putting you at ease

Very attentive to pain and symptoms, gave clear instructions on exercises to alleviate discomfort

I’ve been suffering with headaches and neck pain almost daily for about two years and having spent over £5000 on chiropractors and massage I decided to try physiotherapy.

After the first session I had immediate improvement. A few days with little to no pain at all and now three sessions in I’m having multiple headache free days in a row and have gone from being permanently dosed up on pain relief to using sparingly a few times a week.

Lizzie is obviously great at what she does and very professional but also a lovely person. The results speak for themselves.

Excellant service received today. The Physio who saw me was really good. I fractured my patella and had surgery 8 weeks ago and his advice and the exercises he gave me today are both very helpful.

The physiotherapist, Miss Ruchika Dewan, is excellent. She always discusses my treatment and advises me what I should avoid doing. She is very patient and kind and I feel very comfortable with her. She is the kindest physiotherapist I have had since my back problems started.

Very positive experience at Pure Physio Norwich. I initially saw Meadhbh Flynn for pain in my left shoulder and very restricted movement in my arm. Meadhbh's positive, reassuring and down to earth approach made the sessions enjoyable and I always left knowing exactly how to do the recommended exercises to achieve maximum benefit. As a result of her treatment and guidance, my shoulder is now pain free and I have regained the full range of movement in my arm. Meadhbh was also very supportive and helpful with advice about a longer-term problem with my foot. Highly recommend.

They cancelled my appointment at 7.45 am. My appointment was for 9 am on there t&c we have to give 24 hours or we will still be charged

Im attending the pure phisio at hoyland common, barnsley, a very understanding physiotherapist called sami rehman has set me a program, i have had knee trouble for a long time now thinking that the only solution was an operation, i can honestly say that after doing the exercises for just over a week i have seen an improvement with my movement and the pain from the side of my knee, im very happy with the outcome after a short time.

Angus is amazing, he has helped myself recover after a car accident and after being through so many physios, Angus and the pure team have been perfect. Would highly recommend and will look to use privately going forward.
