Very quick dispatch, excellent and fairly priced work.
I had a leak coming from a poorly installed solar powered water tank (installed during construction!). Found PlumbCall online and they said they’d have an engineer to me with the hour (this was around 5pm). Engineer (Daniel) arrived with maybe 20 minutes tops and helped solve and stop the leak quickly. Also left us set to avoid any problems with said unit before he left. Top class service. Pretty reasonable price for an emergency call out too. Would definitely consider using PlumbCall in future for any plumbing work I may need.

Excellent service!
Excellent service and very dependable as always. Boiler serviced with full data report on present efficiency. Radiator supplied and fitted plus upgrade of some pipes to enhance efficiency. And all at a very reasonable price! All managed with the minimum of fuss.

BUYER BEWARE!! Ripped off at every opportunity.
I called for a quote and informed the nice lady on the phone that I had moved into a property that had no heating or hot water and I was looking to have my new boiler commissioned once the energy company had installed a new meter.
I know plumbers don’t like picking up on others work so I made it explicitly clear what I needed doing (a new boiler commissioned that had been installed by another plumber who was now retired, and a connection to the new meter).
The quote seemed reasonable (£120) and in-line with others I had received. However, I went with plumb call as they could fit me in a bit sooner and being November I needed it sorted ASAP.
On the day the engineered turned up, the price more than tripled to (£372). That was more than it had cost to install the boiler!
When I questioned why, the main boss was very patronising and spoke at me in a condescending tone whilst trying to justify the huge increase by spelling out the obvious of what needed doing (a new boiler commission and a connection to a new meter).
Knowing full well I'd have to wait another couple of weeks in the cold before someone else could fit me in, he gave me less than 5 minutes to pay it upfront before he withdrew the engineer.
In total they spent less than 3 man hours on the job.
To add further insult to injury, a few weeks later when I was trying to fit a nest thermostat, I had a quick question for the engineer who commissioned the boiler. Unfortunately, I got through to the same patronising boss. He refused to let me speak to the engineer unless I paid them more money!
Every corgi registered plumber I have mentioned this to since has been shocked at the price and the audacity of this firm.

Faultless Service
From the initial quote to installation, I cannot fault the service. The chap who installed the gas boiler was friendly and knowledgeable. He cleaned up after the installation and talked through the new appliance. Would definately recommend.

Absolute rubbish
Dear PlumbCall,
I feel I need to complain about how your plumber attended my request for a boiler repair.
He did not spend much time here, condemned my boiler due to the flue readings, took out the fuse and wanted me to sign up for a new Worcester boiler.
The cost was more than £3000 which I didn’t have.
He did not even attempt to repair the boiler, and said I need to replace it.
I decided to get a 2nd opinion after paying your fee of more than £90 for doing absolutely nothing.
I asked Baxi to have a look. Within the same week Baxi came and fitted 3 new parts for a 12 month plan costing £434.
And I can still call Baxi out within 12 months for free if anything else goes wrong.
If I do not get some compensation back from you I will be posting a rubbish review for your services which are appalling.
And reporting you to trading standards.

We appreciate your feedback and we are very saddened that you did not contact the office directly. Our priority is always the safety of our customers, and after our visit in November 2023, our engineer identified multiple safety concerns with your boiler.
On arrival, our engineer observed black soot around the flue and conducted a flue gas analyser test, revealing unsafe levels. Due to the boilers age, condition of the boiler, and the required parts, we recommended replacing the boiler. Opting for a new one not only addresses safety concerns but also comes with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee on parts and labour.
Choosing Baxi for the replacement allows for cost-effective repairs as they source parts directly. We understand your decision to seek a second opinion from Baxi. We respect your choice to opt for their services, especially given the cost-effective plan they provided, covering the replacement of necessary parts. We understand the importance of choice and wish you the best with your new plan from Baxi.
We want to clarify that our diagnosis fee of £79+VAT is standard for the diagnostic services we provide. This fee covers the cost of our engineer's time and expertise in assessing the situation. As a business, we take pride in our professionalism, and we want to emphasise that it is not within our ethos to fabricate issues. We are genuinely dedicated to serving our customers to the best of our ability and providing honest, accurate assessments and repairs.
We strive to communicate our fees transparently, and our records indicate that you were informed of the diagnosis fee during the initial phone call. Your decision to proceed with our services at that time indicated your agreement to these terms.
While we regret any inconvenience you may have faced, we stand by our commitment to safety and professionalism.

Feel let down
Plumb call had agreed to send out an engineer to Balance my radiators and also see if my boiler was compatible with the fitting of a Hive. The price for the balancing would be around £94... to which i agreed.
The engineer called and said he couldn't balance the rads due them not having the correct valves, so he could not do the job. He looked at the boiler and agreed it was ok to have a Hive fitted. He was at the property for 15 mins
I got a quote from PC to fit 11 new valves, which IMO was overpriced inc. VAT around £520. The valves were changed but not by PC.
I had the Hive fitted by PC and was happy with the service at a cost of around £400. So I was shocked when i received a bill for the initial visit!!
I emailed PC to ask would this invoice cover the balancing of the rads now the new valves had been fitted, Their response "I have spoken with the engineer and he has advised unfortunately we would not balance the valves, we would change and balance, but we won’t balance only"
how can an engineer dictate what he will and will not do?
I feel totally let down by PC, I am a returning customer, and spent a further £400 and yet that means nothing...
At them bottom of their invoice it states "If we did not meet your expectations in anyway, please contact us or send an email with your feedback at their email address. Well i did email them and i cant see the point in leaving them an inhouse feedback, hence on here for all to see..

Excellent Boiler Fitting Service
We had an urgent need for a new boiler over the Xmas/New Year period in a vacant property and PlumbCall were wonderful. They did a survey within 24 hours of contact and installed the boiler within a week. The installation team were wonderful, lovely guys, and made sure everything worked and was clean and tidy afterwards.

Great service
My boiler packed up on Friday the 8th Dec, called PlumbCall they were able to order the part for my boiler. They kept me updated on what was happening and initially was told it would be Tuesday, but great news they call say part is in and within the hour someone waa there to fit the new part. Really quick and efficient, really polite young man. Would highly recommend them.
