The changes made to the NEW PicFunky program are horrendous and never work with Chrome or Firefox. Their support is a slow as a USPS delivery. Does anyone in the help and support team actually ever reply!? Filled several tickets and am yet to experience any form of communication. Messaged on Instagram and am yet to have a response. I'm now owed a refund and I feel like I'm probably not going to ever see that money again? Would be great if someone could actually take care of complaints and issues. Outrageously bad customer service.

I have used PicMonkey for years. The New PickMonkey is horrible. After all these years, it looks like I'll have to find a different (and user friendly!) photo editing avenue.

I have used Picmonkey for years. Loved it. The new version is so bad, I can't even wrap my brain around how awful it is. Cancelled my Pro subscription and considered monthly subscription, but, don't even want to waste seven bucks, so, buh-bye, Picmonkey.

I've used the 'old' Picmonkey for many years. It was a joy to work with-everything it offered was uncomplicated, the frames, graphics & themes were the best. New Picmonkey can't hold a candle to it. It's sad. Most of the new graphics are like 60's cartoons, there's a whole page of paint brush strokes(?),many old faithful effects are gone, and there are only 3 frames to use. I understand that Flash is history, but why couldn't Picmonkey have kept all of the good things from old Picmonkey & added the new items.

If I could give a 0 I would. I signed up for their 7 day free trial. I didn't like what they had to offer and had a hard time figuring out how to use the site. I cancelled my subscription within an hour's time. 3 days later I noticed that I had been charged $120. I tried contacting them and of course they used the covid as an excuse to not be able to respond. Not only did they not cancel but my trial had not even ended and I was charged. DO NOT TRUST THE SITE OR FREE TRIAL! They will still charge you.
UPDATE: Picmonkey contacted me via email. They said they don't issue refunds because I upgraded for background removal. It never said that by doing that no refunds. Apparently it was in the 20 page terms of agreement. They offered a prorated $12.99 deal. I cancelled my subscription. At least I thought because it says renew subscription not cancel. They also said I signed up on the 14th. I signed up on the 8th and cancelled. Something is not right here.

God, I hate Pic Monkey. For the last several years, they have used a bait and switch free trial offer, but no matter how many times you try to sign up, the free trial never seems to go through. I'm not paying a yearly fee because they either can't fix the glitches in the free trial offer or are deliberately misleading potential clients. Back in the day, I used the services a lot but now I absolutely loathe it.

I signed up for my 7 day trial.
Cancelled on the 7th day but still got charged two deposits of £1 and another for £78
Before being charged I even sent an e mail to 3 of the pic monkey e mails : support@pic monkey, info@picmonkey and legal@picmonkey to ensure it had been cancelled.
I got a generic response yesterday and sent another today only to find that the money has now come out of my account.
No one has got back to me.

I hate it the old one was so much better. It freezes up all the time and doesn't let me do anything. I miss the old one :( My heart is sad that it is gone it made me want to learn how to edit and create graphics. Now I just get irritated and frustrated by the new one.

I loved the old PicMonkey and it was great value for money. Now, the new version is a step backwards. Very sad not to have this resource any more. The new version is cumbersome and slow and inferior in every way!

I am very disappointed in the new pic money. I have used the old pic monkey for years and now the new one will not work on my computer---the old one was so much easier. I have an hp computer with a new windows 10 recently installed and I keep getting a popup that says my computer isnt new enough to use the new pic money.

I have used OLD Picmonkey for almost 10 years and LOVED it! It was the BEST editing tool compared to the others. I paid the money for "new" and supposedly improved version 10 days ago and it is TERRIBLE. Not user friendly and slow AF. The troubleshooting tips? ...don't waste your time. I requested a refund and a cancellation of my subscription...let's see if they step up and pay me back for their mistake of changing a once great editing tool. I am heartbroken to lose OLD Picmonkey 💔

Used PicMonkey for years, always considered it one of the best editing programs out there but the new version is awful. Features I loved are gone and offers nothing better in their place.

I have used PicMonkey for several years and loved it! So easy to use. I made so many wonderful cards, etc. for friends and family. Edited photos, etc. with ease. Now with the New PicMonkey everything is so complicated. Most of it doesn't even make sense. Why change something that worked so well? I will be cancelling with a heavy heart.

Seriously? You have to sign up for a free trial before being able to download anything?

I have to agree with several other reviews here. The new Picmonkey is absolutely awful!! I have used Picmonkey for years and loved it. But the rollout of the "new" Picmonkey has been a nightmare! It does not work! It freezes up and trying to edit one picture can take an hour or more because you have to wait for it to start moving again. Trying to erase something along the edges is impossible on my laptop because it just jumps around and you can't get the brush to move and then when it finally does, there's no way to hold it steady. I can't get to work on my phone at all. It just will never unfreeze.
I have contacted customer service and tried the things that said might help. Nothing works! I'm also paying more now each month than ever before and I'm getting no use whatsoever. I will be canceling my subscription.
Picmonkey you might want to think about bringing the old version back or at the very least, making it still available to use.

I waste more time waiting for PicMonkey to fix issues than I do using it. Yesterday it was down completely. Today "Trouble In Paradise". This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. The Old Picmonkey worked great. The new is terrible and down more than it is up. Listen to other reviewers. Don't waste your money. I've been a customer for years (Old PicMonkey) but not anymore. Finding a differenct company for my business use.

Worst customer service EVER!

I created a trial account using a disposable email. In doing so, I had to use my credit card for the trial.

Then, I cleared my browser history, and lost access to the account as my login wasn't saved.

I went through the absolute hassle of emailing multiple parties at this company, and they kept referring me back to an email I told them I didn't have access to. I proved it was my account by showing the charge, showing a picture of my credit card, repeatedly referring to my name on the email, and repeatedly demonstrating that I was the owner of the account.

However, they refuse to help in any meaningful way. They keep referring me back to the email I have no access to, despite me telling them repeatedly i don't have access.

Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone for any reason.
