I’ll be honest, I went into VistaCreate expecting to be underwhelmed. I’ve used Canva a bunch and figured this was just another knockoff trying to grab market share. I was wrong in the best way.
The AI Generator and interface are the real standouts here. I tested it for a mock small-business campaign, and it generated usable ads in under two minutes — formats sized correctly for Instagram, Facebook, and display ads all at once. Those ideas would’ve taken me a full day to get done. And for a small business owner or for someone who doesn’t have a designer on call, this feature alone is worth signing up for.
The interface is cleaner than Canva’s and a lot less overwhelming if you’re just getting started with design tools. The template library is massive. You can choose from social posts, video ads, banners, presentations, and much more. Also one of the best parts is most of that is accessible for free! The brand kit feature is also a nice touch. You set your logo, colors, and fonts once, and then they’re applied automatically across every template. It’s really easy to maintain consistency that way.
While I enjoyed the software, it doesn’t stand completely void of its issues and shortcomings. It falls short in a couple of ways. For one like lots of AI tools its not perfect. You are able to generate cool images and ideas quick but they tend to need some extra work. Also as far as exporting you get JPEG, PNG, and MP4, and that’s basically it. No SVG, no PDF with bleed, no serious resolution control. For digital marketing, this is fine. For anything going to print or a professional production it’s a real limitation. The editor can be pretty limited in comparison to a photoshop or a design heavy software.

Overall, VistaCreate earns a 3.7 out of 5 for me. It’s genuinely one of the better free design tools on the market right now. The AI features are actually useful, the free plan doesn’t feel crippled, and the learning curve is low enough that you’re producing real content within your first session. If you’re running a small business, managing social media, or just need to produce visuals fast without a designer, give it a shot before you default to Canva.

Minable, déplorable. Paye 144€, impossible de me connecter ensuite, puis une fois connexion possible avec assistance technique, mon abonnement pro n'est pas reconnu. Personnel incompétent au téléphone qui te met en attente non stop et se fiche de toi.

Absolute ripoff. No online real-time support, no phone support, and good luck ever getting your billing information out of their system. No matter how many times you try to cancel auto-renew, it just turns itself back on and you'll get an annual charge (currently $120). There will be no responses to your emails or inquiries. Using this site is the biggest mistake I've ever made. This has been going on for 4 months now.

My 17-year-old daughter signed up for a free trial of VistaCreate and forgot to cancel. Without warning they took £144.99 from her account. Under UK law a minor cannot be bound to this type of subscription – it’s voidable at her option. We contacted the company immediately, but they have ignored every request for a refund.

This is nothing more than a subscription trap targeting minors. Any reputable company would have refunded immediately. Instead, they hide behind auto-renewals and silence customers.

Parents beware – this is how VistaCreate treats under-18s. We are escalating to Trading Standards, the CMA, and Apple.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Had issue that lost me a client, money and earned me a negative review because VistaCreate could only find 1 out of my last 200 projects created since 2020. I reached out to live chat and was given the run around by 4 team members. I reached out to support to explain this was was lied to and told Live chat had been deactivated for a year and email is the only way to reach out. I just logged in and started a brief live chat convo again to prove their lie. Shitty company.

Das Programm an sich ist gut, umfangreich, bietet viel und ist eine Alternative zu Canva. Man kann schnell und einfach alles mögliche gestalten.

Im Grunde könnte man 5 Sterne vergeben, wenn da nicht ein richtig großes Problem wäre:

Online drucken funktioniert (immer noch) nicht.

Vor 1 Jahr haben wir mit VistaCreate Visitenkarten erstellt und wollten sie über den Button "Online drucken", der prominent in blau oben rechts in der Arbeitsoberfläche prangt auch tatsächlich bestellen.

Das hat damals schon nicht funktioniert, bzw. die Bestellung wurde akzeptiert, aber wir mussten das Design trotzdem erst noch einmal exportieren und dem Kundenservice separat hochladen, damit sie es drucken konnten. Das heißt, der Button hat nichts gemacht und keine Arbeit abgenommen.

Dieses Jahr wollten wir neue Karten gestalten und drucken. Diesmal hat der Button "Online drucken" zunächst funktioniert - die Bestellung wurde vom System angenommen und alles schien okay.

Bis ich - 10 Tage nach dem Auftrag und 2 Tage nach geplantem Liefertermin - einmal den Kundenservice anrufe um den Status meiner Bestellung zu erfragen.

Antwort: die Bestellung wurde abgelehnt. Information darüber habe ich keine erhalten. Und sie kann auch das Design nicht sehen.

Im VistaCreate Konto ist das Design vorhanden und wenn ich hier zu meinen Bestellungen wechsle, ist die Bestellung auch da, bezahlt und weiterhin ohne Status.

Das heißt die "Online drucken" Funktion nimmt zwar grundsätzlich einen Druckauftrag an und man bezahlt nur es tut sich dann - nichts. Jetzt darf ich darauf warten, dass und ob der Kundenservice das Problem in den Griff bekommt.

Ich dachte, Vista hätte in mehr als einem Jahr seine "Online drucken" Funktion/Schnittstelle endlich in den Griff bekommen. Wozu soll ich dann überhaupt VistaCreate verwenden, dann kann ich auch in der Standard VistaPrint Oberfläche bleiben, wenn online drucken nicht funktioniert und man als Kunde uninformiert sitzen gelassen wird?!

Update: zugute halten muss ich jetzt, dass kurz nach dem Anruf beim Kundenservice das Problem erkannt wurde, es gab eine Gutschrift und die Bestellung wird nachgeliefert mit Prio-Versand. Vista hat sich also gekümmert, das Problem zu lösen und es auf ihre Kosten erledigt. Danke dafür.

Macht jetzt bitte noch, dass die Schnittstelle direkt richtig greift und wir kommen wieder auf 5 Punkte.

Absolutely amazing will definitely use again

What I best like about using VistaCreate, is the ability to add multiple images when I create a multi-page project. This ability to combine images saves my time. Adding music to images is also another feature that I like and I use often.

I would give this company negative stars if I could. I signed up for the "free trial" and learned that it was much more robust and more expensive than what I needed. I tried to cancel my free trial. Seeing there was no way to cancel I contact the company support center saying that I wanted to cancel and did not want the subscription. Rather than honoring my request, they UPGRADED my account and charged me $120! Rip Off

I’m very satisfied with the support team, the way they are handling the issues and finding solutions as fast as possible. I see that the platform is developing and I love it.
