Photospecialist Arvostelua 

I recently placed an order with Photospecialist.ie, attracted by their competitive prices on photography equipment. However, my overall experience with them has been far from satisfactory.

First and foremost, the lack of communication from Photospecialist.ie is concerning. After placing my order, I expected to receive updates on its status, but I was left completely in the dark. When I finally decided to reach out to inquire about the delay, I was told that the item was out of stock. This was frustrating, to say the least, as I had already paid for the product and had no prior indication that it was unavailable.

What's even more disappointing is that the customer service representative could not provide a clear timeline for when the item would be back in stock or when I could expect to receive it. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, as customers deserve to know what's happening with their orders.

While I understand that Photospecialist.ie offers competitive prices, it should not come at the cost of such poor communication and unfulfilled promises. Good prices are only one aspect of a successful online shopping experience. Timely updates, reliable information, and transparency are equally important.

In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Photospecialist.ie. I hope they take steps to improve their communication and customer service in the future to avoid similar frustrations for other customers.

Top notch service. I had the opposite experience of some people here. I emailed them to ask a question and they literally got back to me 10 mins later (Alejandro was who I dealt with. Sound). Ordered Blackmagic's BMPCC4K and it was shipped out the very same day. Received it two days later (to Ireland). Will definitely be doing business with them again. Recommended.

Bought a pair of binoculars. The payment was declined twice but that could be my bank rather than the store, got support from photospecist.ie quite fast so absolutely nothing I can complain about. The best price I could find on the market, shipped fast, can you ask for more?
Also, they don’t send a printed package slip with the product but send it to your email address, nice little thing that make you happy :)

If you are in Ireland DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They deserve minus 5 stars. I ordered a Canon lens on Tuesday last week. Their order system invites you to put in your Eircode. The address it came up with does not exist although the Eircode I put in was correct and the correct Eircode was shown on the order with the nonexistent address. They have a UK phone number which I called and found they are in Holland. I corrected the address verbally and was asked to send a confirming email which I did. They responded confirming they would amend the address. On checking the status of the order the address had not been amended so I emailed again and again they emailed a response saying they would amend the address.
The parcel entered the DHL system with the wrong address overnight last Tuesday. On Wednesday morning I phoned them again to ask them what they could do. The answer was for me to contact DHL. After an hour of going through the DHL website which is in Dutch, I found a number for DHL Ireland who told me the parcel was being forwarded to a local courier 24 kms away in Tralee. They do not have a live landline, just a recording stating how to track a parcel. Photospecialist came back to tell me that as the nonexistent delivery address was only 400 metres from my home there was nothing they would do to help or to compensate me for my time and expense.
I drove to the couriers who were helpful, identified the parcel and made a note to contact me when it arrived.
On Friday I received a text and an email from An Post to say they would deliver on Monday. This worried me as the address was shown as Tralee though our sorting office is Listowel and I wondered why it had left the DHL system.
Thanks to my local post girl, two alert operatives at Listowel who, because of local knowledge realised the address did not exist and tied up the Eircode with the correct address. The parcel was retrieved from the return to sender section and I had delivery this morning.
The staff at Photospecialist are at best incompetent and seem to be liars, having twice confirmed they have amended the address having done nothing. I have copies of the emails and the name of the person who sent them and a photo of the delivery label. Someone senior needs to get a grip. The address database is incorrect in at least one instance, probably more. The attitude of carelessness and "sort it out yourself" is totally unacceptable.
If you want grief when ordering a product, use
Photospecialist - if not do as I will in future and go elsewhere.

Great contact, fast delivery

It so happened that during shipment the transport company lost my parcel. After contacting the photospecialist, they immediately resent my order. and I received it very quickly. They are professionals.

Had a delivery not recieved but Kirsten and the customer service team helped my issue.I previously gave 4 stars because of my issue but happy now to give 5 stars down to the assistance of your service team.In my opinion customer service is a service that is declining in most businesses but a credit to your team they were so helpful.Thanks Kirsten and all involved.Will continue to use your store 😀
