I was taken advantage of and lied to
I was bamboozled. I was an idiot. Don’t make the same mistake by dumping money into a scam when you’re sad and desperate to find your pet. It’s been over a week with zero results. I didn’t expect much but for the amount of money I paid this is absurd. The posters are at best something my child could make. I’m upset about my cat still missing, but the lies and false hope are worse. I have multiple people in the paid for area and not a single person has received a notification from PetRadar. Don’t get scammed like I did.

We're sorry your cat is still missing and we understand how heartbreaking this experience is. However, we want to address your review because the claims being made are simply not accurate.
We are a small team that dedicates itself fully to helping pet families. Everything within our control we offer completely free: the QR code poster, the website listing, the sighting form and all of our support. The only paid service is the social media advertisements, because we pay Meta to run them, just like any business that advertises.
When you say "no one received a notification", this points to a fundamental misunderstanding of how advertising works. Our ads are not notifications. They function exactly like the sponsored ads you see while scrolling on Facebook or Instagram. They appear in users' feeds, stories, reels and marketplace. This is how all digital advertising works, for every company in the world, not just PetRadar.
You can in fact verify our ads independently. Meta provides a transparency tool called the Facebook Ad Library which shows every active advertiser and every ad currently running. We are a registered advertiser and our campaigns are publicly visible there.
Regarding the posters, they are designed in a clean, professional format to maximize readability and recognition, and include a QR code specifically to protect your personal information from scammers and prank callers. If your child can produce something that is both visually clear and protects pet owners' privacy in this way, we're genuinely happy to hear that 🩷.
We're sorry that the search hasn't produced results yet, but please know that calling us a scam is unfair to the team that works every single day to help families like yours. We sincerely hope your cat is found safe very soon 🐾

My cat is lost, I paid Petrader for nearly 9000 views. Just received an email that it reached all those views which is a lie! I live in that area, and only I saw the add. No one around saw it and there isnt a way Petrader provides to see if and who the adds truly reach. Its a scam.

We do want to address your concerns openly and honestly, because we take feedback like this very seriously.
The views reported in your email are real impressions verified directly by Meta's advertising platform, and not numbers we generate ourselves. We have no ability to inflate or fabricate these statistics as they come directly from Meta's systems, the same platform used by every major brand advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
Regarding not seeing the ad yourself and your neighbors not seeing it either - this is not unusual. It's actually great that an ad is seen by people who don't know your pet is missing instead of wasting views on those who already now the situation. And not every person in an area sees every ad, and this is simply how digital advertising works, for every company that uses it worldwide.
We also want to address the scam concern directly. Everything that is within our control, we offer completely free of charge. The QR poster, the website listing, the sighting form, all of our support and time... free. The ads cost because we pay Meta to run them. We have no interest in taking advantage of pet owners in distress. Quite the opposite. Our mission is to be there for pet owners during one of the hardest moments they can go through, and that is something we take to heart every single day 💛

Poster was really useful and helped…
Poster was really useful and helped with getting the word out. It was thanks to the posters that we found our lost cat as this sparked conversations when putting them up.
Some of the emails I received almost seemed a bit negative and made me feel a bit hopeless. If you are sensitive it may be an idea to not read them.

This a reply for Pet radar, what several emails?I got 2 emails where to look and where to say it's missing my baby fur, that advises I found them for free I didn't had to pay I haven't seen any active campaign or any prove that was spread...just a email that reached 4000 people..where are this people?I haven't seen you anywhere on Facebook, Instagram etc..none of my friends or family or neighbours saw anything from you guys false advertising just to get money on people pain from missing their per fur...and the poster I asked continuing I got it after 3 days one that said was not available in my country..that means uk as I am here and I paid from UK account..I have pictures to prove and emails in hand that I sent and no answer so I want my money back as you guys didn't do what you advertising you were doing.

But we also want to clarify a few things 🙏 We replied to your direct messages immediately, sent multiple emails, and when you had trouble accessing the poster, we even resent it directly to you as a PDF attachment to make things easier.
The error message you shared with us also didn’t appear to come from PetRadar itself, but rather from your email/browser environment 😥 So although we absolutely understand the frustration, the issue didn’t seem to be caused by our service.
We genuinely did try to help and communicate with you throughout...

PetRadar helped us be reunited with our lost cat after more than 2 weeks. The printable poster and QR code elicited a number of responses after we put these up around the neighborhood. There was also information on what to do and who to contact that they supplied.

We willen wel graag één belangrijk punt verduidelijken: de advertenties zijn volledig optioneel. We bieden al heel veel gratis aan, zoals de vermelding op onze website, QR-posters, het dashboard, zoekgidsen, meldingssysteem en ondersteuning tijdens de zoektocht.
De betalende optie gaat specifiek over gesponsorde advertenties. Dat zijn geen gewone posts, maar echte reclamecampagnes waarvoor wij Meta rechtstreeks moeten betalen, net zoals advertenties in een krant of op andere platformen geld kosten 🙏
We begrijpen heel goed dat emoties hoog oplopen wanneer een geliefd huisdier vermist is, en dat het verschil tussen posts en advertenties niet voor iedereen meteen duidelijk is in zo’n stressvolle situatie.
We hopen oprecht dat jullie kat snel weer veilig thuiskomt,
