very good organization and service
very good organization and service. I like the pick up and drop off at the hotels, the local guide on board and the visit stop during our trips. one of the night bus was not really confortable to sleep, they should have a sleeping bus like bunk. But the rest was great and the guides like Miguel and Joan were super good.

Such a fun day!
Such a fun day!! Starting the day off on a gorgeous boat ride followed by adorable wildlife was the perfect start. Lunch at the vineyard was delicious and the tasting was fun. Highlight is for sure Huacachina- place feels unreal. Sand boarding was sooo fun not as scary as it looks. Dune buggy is not for the faint of heart!! Watching the sunset with some wine was a surreal experience as well. Looots of time sitting in the bus but I’ve truly never had a more comfortable seat on a mode of transportation, was able to sleep every time, plenty of room. David our guide was so great the whole day. Book it!

We travelled with Peru Hop from Cusco…
We travelled with Peru Hop from Cusco to La Paz. The service at the Cusco office was excellent and the main bus was very comfortable, although the seats were not fully reclinable as we had expected from a “bus cama.”
The guides were helpful and kept us well informed about the itinerary, tours, and local places to eat. They also provided suggestions for things to see for those who weren’t interested in the organised tours.
However, the final leg to La Paz was on a much smaller bus because of the lake crossing, which was not clearly disclosed on the website. This part of the journey was very uncomfortable and disappointing compared with the rest of the trip.
We also felt there was quite a lot of emphasis on upselling tours and food. In Copacabana, we found an excellent lunch independently at a fraction of the price of the options recommended by the guides.
Overall, it was a convenient way to travel between Cusco and La Paz, but the experience felt somewhat overrated compared with our expectations.

Regarding the final leg from Copacabana to La Paz, the smaller vehicle is not a downgrade in service but a logistical requirement due to the Tiquina ferry crossing. At this point, buses must be transported across Lake Titicaca on floating platforms, which have limitations on vehicle size and weight. This information is available on our website, but we understand that it may not have been clear enough before your trip.
We really appreciate you highlighting this. We’re already sharing the feedback with our relevant team so this detail can be made more visible and easier to understand for future passengers.
We also appreciate your comments about the tour and food recommendations. Our guides share optional experiences and local suggestions, but passengers are always free to choose what works best for them.

Sehr angenehme und unkomplizierte Reise mit Peru Hop
Wir sind mit Peru Hop von Cusco bis Lima gefahren und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die Busse waren komfortabel, wir hatten meistens viel Beinfreiheit und besonders positiv überrascht hat uns das WLAN: Bis auf eine kurze Strecke hat es immer sehr gut funktioniert – sogar so gut, dass wir problemlos durchgehend streamen konnten.
Auch die Guides waren durchweg super nett, hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Besonders praktisch fanden wir die eingeplanten Stopps auf der langen Strecke, zum Beispiel zwischen Arequipa und Huacachina. Dadurch konnte man Frühstück und Mittagessen einplanen und war trotz der langen Fahrt gut versorgt.
Wir haben außerdem einige Aktivitäten direkt über Peru Hop gebucht. Das hat sehr gut funktioniert, da die Aktivitäten zeitlich gut zu den Busfahrten gepasst haben. Außerdem kannte man dadurch bereits andere Reisende aus dem Bus, wodurch sich schnell eine richtig coole Gruppe gebildet hat.
Der einzige Punkt, bei dem wir noch Verbesserungspotenzial sehen, ist die Kommunikation im Vorfeld. Zum Beispiel wussten wir vorher nicht, dass auf den langen Strecken Stopps zum Frühstücken und Mittagessen eingeplant sind, und hatten uns deshalb selbst mit Essen versorgt. Auch bei einigen Aktivitäten waren vorab keine genauen Uhrzeiten angegeben. Deshalb haben wir manche Aktivitäten nicht über Peru Hop gebucht, weil uns die fehlenden Informationen für die Planung zu unsicher waren.
Insgesamt können wir Peru Hop aber definitiv weiterempfehlen. Die Fahrten waren komfortabel, die Organisation hat gut funktioniert und gerade die Kombination aus Transport, Aktivitäten und dem Kennenlernen anderer Reisender hat unsere Reise sehr angenehm gemacht.

Amazing experience
All the experience was amazing.
Traveling so much in a foreigner country without worrying about how to get from X to Y is amazing.
Also, traveling by bus give you the opportunity to see the real world!
Even the issues we had ( mostly blocked roads ) were handled in a professional and transparent manner.
All the guides were really helpful and made the experience much better and easier for us.

Very professional and made safety their priority in every activity. Franklin was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Amazing bus company
Amazing bus company! Will always take you from your hostel to your next hostel. Amazing guides & drivers as well! Really good service, very organized and reliable, you can also change plans last minute and let them know (they changed my bus twice as I was sick).
Only thing is that sometimes before/after activities you stop at a place for food and have no choice of buying from there since you're hungry and there's nothing else around it.

Travelling in mid 50’s
I had a great time travelling to Paracas (Ballestas Island)and Ica (Huacachina)with Peru hop. Our travel guide, Marjorie is very organized and a good communicator. The bus is clean and comfortable and our driver Barton is a good driver as well. The excursion is a great value and places are very unique. I opted out the sandboarding and buggy ride as I don’t feel physically fit for the activity. Nevertheless, I spent my time trekking the ridge in Huacachina before sunset which is awesome! Peru Hop was very accommodating and had given back credit for the activity that I didn’t take part of. I highly recommend Peru Hop!

Don’t be fooled by the high rating please
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst-managed tours I’ve joined, mainly because of our Peru Hop guide, Lorenzo. There was basically no guiding: no information about the places, history or nature, and very poor communication about what would happen next or what we needed to bring. Lorenzo relied on generic WhatsApp messages/videos and often seemed irritated by questions, giving short, rude or commanding answers.
The biggest concern was safety. During sandboarding, a woman with asthma said she felt unwell and did not want to continue. Lorenzo still pushed her to do “one more,” then refused to help carry her board and went sandboarding himself. My husband had to help her. Before, our boat from the Ballestas Islands ran out of fuel at sea and we were stranded for around 10 minutes.
The pisco tasting was also disappointing: despite the description, we learned nothing about how pisco is made and went straight to tasting.

The experiences were very fun. The only down side was that we were seated at the end of the boat and got soaked. If it was previously told, we cold have been better prepared with our clothes.
The guide Pablo was great!
Also the internet on the bus was the best I've ever seen of a transportation.
I love we can schedule our meals beforehand, it made it much more efficient.
