An outstanding team! Georgia and Emily are absolutely brilliant – highly professional, exceptionally organized, and incredibly communicative.

Five gold stars earned by Joe at P & S. for their professionalism and buoyant, cheerful and practical attitude. This came to profitable conclusion in amazingly quick and measured time. Turning my attention to a search for a replacement home, I was touched by the concern, advice and extra research by P & S , which further supported me, even though moving out of their area.

Good service, prompt and efficient. Property was as advertised.

Professional and polite team. Easily accessible by phone to discuss issues. Reliable.
I often can’t see my property advertised on air bnb despite searching. Properties should be visible on air bnb if they are advertised there by P&S.

Professional, personable service from all of the Penny and Sinclair team right from initial enquiry through to exchange. We particularly appreciated their promptness in keeping us updated on viewings and offers from buyers. Would definitely recommend.

intermediary agency and would not ever recommend

Was able to rent a lovely apartment in Oxford for 6 weeks via Penny Sinclair. Helpful and friendly staff.

Perfect location, cozy and nicely maintained apartment, well stocked kitchen, wonderful and responsive landlords. All and all an experience we wish we could replicate every year.

Sean was an absolute super star in selling our property, I cannot recommend Penny and Sinclair enough. He was great with dealing with us and with the buyer and it all went very smoothly and everyone was happy with the outcome. A true professional.

My partner and I came from Australia and dealt with Emily & Georgia who were very helpful for us to secure a short term let. They were responsive, professional and made coming to Oxford that little bit easier. Many thanks.

"BLITHERING BROOMSTICKS!"
"Penny & Sinclair rented my house before I could say,
'ABRACADBRA!'.
Penny & Sinclair are efficient, professional and a pleasure to work with.
"Purrrrrrr-FECT!"

Despite being a loyal client of Penny & Sinclair their lettings service / property management has become untrustworthy - wrong dates on tenancy agreements (they indicate their landlord clients should correct errors - surely there shouldn’t be errors in the first instance? not least dates of tenancy!) reduced frequency of property inspections (their terms of business (professional obligations) stipulate inspection frequency which has not been adhered to), shortfall on tenancy deposit (the tenancy deposit does not represent 5 weeks of rent which landlords should be protected with) leaving landlors exposed if there is property damage that could potentially be at least partly protected (stating it’s “not their policy” to check the tenancy deposit amount), prolonged response times that need chasing, trying to excuse it all with a “heavy workload”! Over £1k in property management fees for a year and all I received as a landlord was two property inspections which I even had to ask to take place. Landlords look elsewhere if you want reliable service and accurate tenancy deposit protection.

Clear communication, out of hours support, flexibility on check in and check out, property clean and good quality.

Some more attention to detail before moving in would have made the experience more enjoyable (e.g. check that heating and lights are working). The cleaner who was scheduled to come did not come.

Both properties exceeded expectations. The self-check-in process was easy and efficient. Properties were beautifully decorated and offered comfortable space for our large group of guests.
Georgia & Emily were very accommodating and always responsive to our queries and needs. We would definitely use Penny & Sinclair again for our stays in Oxford!

I had the best experience working with Joe Worsell for the sale of our property in Oxford. He was very caring, engaged, and considerate from the beginning to the end. He gave very good advice and useful information. A five-star experience.

I've been a client since they started and that fact alone is testament to the level of their expertise and service, especially in a city like Oxford which has a huge range of agents to choose from.

We have just exchanged on the sale of our house at OX2 9RF.
Like many house sellers, we went into this process with a very cynical view of estate agents. We were expecting the worst and to have to continually chase and cajole during the process.
Immediately upon meeting the manager of the Summertown branch of Penny Sinclair we felt assured - by his knowledge, frankness and openness about the selling process. All of this chimed with our practical experiences and real life. He made us a number of promises on signing. He kept every single one. Our house was on the market with a professional brochure and impressive web-presence within days. We had a full price offer (on which we have just exchanged) within a couple of weeks (our second visit). His team were well briefed and carried on the professional approach which he had conveyed to us.
We are incredibly grateful for his deft and empathetic handling of our buyers (and of us!) during what has been a stressful and intense period.
We will not hesitate to recommend Penny Sinclair.

While searching for a property to buy in Oxford we had experience dealing with several local estate agents and Joe from Penny&Sinclair stood out thanks to his pleasant and attentive attitude to us as buyers. Joe tried to understand what our requirements are and offered multiple properties that could suit us. This strategy clearly benefits both buyers and sellers and so I would warmly recommend P&S to anyone selling or buying a property in Oxford.

We approached many agents with our particular needs and were getting concerned that we wouldn’t find the right property. We then received a call from Georgia who, quite impressively, remembered our requirements and advised us about a property about to be listed. The property was ideal so we really are grateful for Penny & Sinclair for actually keeping our details on file and thinking of us when the perfect solution presented itself. We also had a couple of changes to the dates which were handled courteously and professionally without making us feel like we’ve just ruined someone’s day

I have just had a very good experience with Penny & Sinclair when selling my house. They have been excellent at communicating from the offset, and Sean, our agent, was very helpful in what was a difficult process at times. I recommend them to anyone buying or selling.
