No reduce la capacidad del video como indica. subo un video de 615 MB y hay tres opciones . Elijo el de 290 MB y resulta una compresión de 605 MB. Me han timado 0,99 euro. !!!OJO!!!! porque para que pasado esa semana de 0,99 €- 7 días, te cobran 50 € periódicamente. Para evitarlo debes meterte en tu configuración y rechazar esa suscripción añadida de timo.

Paid one off 99p to convert document file type. Not a service I would ever use again. 99p fine for this however 7 days late the 99p transaction was then converted to a £49.99 Debit. Flagged by the bank and blocked they then continued to retake.

Ich bin Schweizer und ebenfalls Opfer von PDF Guru geworden. Ich habe mich jedoch mit der geballten juristischen Gewalt, welche die Gesetzgebung zu bieten hat, gewehrt. PDF Guru fürchtet nämlich den Inhalt meines Textes wie der Teufel das Weihwasser, da PDF Guru auf keinen Fall mit der EU-Aufsichtsbehörde, dem Wirtschaftssekretariat und dem zypriotischen Datenschutzbeauftragten in Konflikt geraten will. Auch wenn der Text im Schweizer Rahmen formuliert ist, jedoch weit in das europäische Recht greift, hoffe ich, dass weitere Opfer diesen Text als hilfreich erachten:

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren

Hiermit kündige ich das über den Google-Social-Login ohne meine transparente Einwilligung generierte Abonnement für das Konto ******@****.com per sofort. Ich fordere Sie hiermit auf, den Zugang unverzüglich zu schliessen und die automatische Verlängerung dauerhaft zu stoppen.
Gleichzeitig fordere ich Sie hiermit einmalig auf, sämtliche unrechtmässig von meiner Debitkarte abgebuchten Beträge (inklusive der Abbuchung vom **.**.2026) innerhalb der nächsten 3 Werktage vollständig auf mein Konto zurückzuerstatten.

Ihre "Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen" sowie die dort erwähnten Klauseln bezüglich „stillschweigender Verlängerung“, „Ausschluss von Rückerstattungen“ und „Schiedsverfahren“ sind im vorliegenden Fall rechtlich absolut nichtig.

Verstoss gegen das Schweizer Transparenzgebot (Art. 3 Abs. 1 lit. s UWG): Die wiederkehrenden monatlichen Kosten wurden am Point of Sale (Zahlungsbildschirm) durch irreführende Gestaltung (Dark Patterns) verschwiegen. Ein Verweis auf das Kleingedruckte in den Nutzungsbedingungen reicht rechtlich nicht aus. Es existiert kein rechtsgültiger Vertrag.
Konto-Inaktivität: Das mit der Plattform verknüpfte Google-Konto wurde von Google deaktiviert. Sie buchen Geldbeträge für eine Dienstleistung ab, die ich mangels Login-Möglichkeit überhaupt nicht nutzen kann, und zu der ich keinerlei Leistungsmitteilungen oder Rechnungen erhalten habe.
Sollte die vollständige Rückerstattung und Kündigungsbestätigung nicht innerhalb der nächsten 3 Werktage vorliegen, werde ich unverzüglich folgende Schritte einleiten:
Strafanzeige wegen gewerbsmässigen Betrugs und arglistiger Täuschung bei der Kantonspolizei ***** (Schweiz) gemäss Art. 146 StGB.
Offizielle Behörden-Beschwerde beim Schweizer Staatssekretariat für Wirtschaft (SECO) wegen unlauterer Geschäftsmethoden.
Meldung an die zypriotische Verbraucherschutzbehörde (Consumer Protection Service Cyprus) sowie das Europäische Verbraucherzentrum (ECC) wegen systematischer Verletzung der EU-Richtlinie 2005/29/EG über unlautere Geschäftspraktiken.
Datenschutz-Beschwerde beim zypriotischen Datenschutzbeauftragten (Commissioner for Personal Data Protection), da Sie Daten eines nachweislich inaktiven und gelöschten Drittkontos zweckentfremdet nutzen, um unberechtigte Abbuchungen vorzunehmen (Verstoss gegen die DSGVO).
Das internationale Chargeback-Verfahren über meine Bank ist parallel dazu bereits eingeleitet. Ihr Abrechnungs-Gateway wird dem Sicherheitsdienst der Bank explizit als betrügerisch gemeldet.

Ich erwarte Ihre Einlenkung und die schriftliche Bestätigung der Rückerstattung innerhalb von 48 Stunden.

I looked for a site that could help me with a one off combining of pdfs. I paid £0.99 for this service and receivd an e-mailed receipt and then completed the task. A few weeks later, my bank statement showed a £49.99 payment which now seems to be an annual subscription. I didn't get any acknowledgement of this payment or anything which supported my subscription like log-in info.
I have had several polite e-mail exchanges with the company and I was offered 2 years free access to the site and told about their high standards, finally informed that T&Cs state no refunds.
disappointing that there are some many people ready to take advanage of us. A tough lesson learned.

This honestly feels like a scam subscription model.

I paid $1 thinking it was a simple one-time trial, then later noticed they had been charging me around $50 monthly through automatic renewal. The subscription terms were not made clear enough, and removing my card/payment method was extremely difficult.

I contacted support immediately after the transaction, canceled the account, stopped using the service completely, and still got nothing except copy-paste responses refusing a refund.

After researching online, I found many people describing the exact same situation.

Be very careful before entering your card details.

Según la normativa europea, tienes 14 días para retractarte. No 48 horas como ellos indican.
Os recomiendo no usar ni recomendar esta web de estafadores

Ik ontdek net dat er voor de tweede achtereenvolgende maand een bedrag van ruim €51 van mijn AMEX card is afgeschreven voor een abonnement op PDFguru.com waarvan ik me niet bewust ben het ooit afgesloten te hebben. Ik heb geprobeerd in te loggen op mijn account, maar ik heb natuurlijk geen password. Ik heb de knop 'forgot password' ingedrukt. Daarop verschijnt een scherm waarop je een code kan invullen. Die code -staat erbij- is naar je e-mailadres gestuurd. Ook staat er dat je, als je na 60 seconden de code nog niet hebt die opnieuw kunt aanvragen. Tot drie keer toe heb ik geen code ontvangen.
Dit voelt als een frauduleus bedrijf.

if there is an option to give zero star, I would have chosen that. This company cannot be trusted. As with other reviewers, I had wanted a pdf document reduced in size and signed up for the 7 day purchase at USD0.49 charge. However, upon using the service, I did not get the document reduced. When PDF Guru confirmed my purchase of this 7 day package, the email stated that the monthly subscription will kick in 30 days from the date I purchased the 7 day package. However, I discovered that the monthly subscription USD49.90 was deducted immediately after the 7 day period. I immediately submitted a cancellation of the subscription but they insist that I have to still pay the USD49.90. I have only signed up to use the service once and since it did not work, how can they insist I continue to use the service. It is clear the company is out to get your money & not really intend on providing a service. Avoid this company.

These guys are a total scam. I signed up to get a document translated and it came back exactly the same, untranslated. Then they refuse to refund. Total nonsense.

Der Schriftverkehr mit pdfguru.com (nicht zu verwechseln mit pdfguru.online) brachte zunächst keinen Erfolg. Auch Paypal hat mir nicht weitergeholfen.
Erst als ich eine Textvorlage im Internet fand, welche die Verbraucherrechte und die intransparente Vorgehensweise des Abo-Abschlusses ohne Bestätigungsunterlagen zum Inhalt hat, wurde der Betrag von 49,99€ innerhalb von wenigen Tagen meinem Paypal-Konto wieder gutgeschrieben.
Lasst solche Machenschaften nicht durchgehen, setzt euch zur Wehr.

Non utilizzate i loro servizi. Sono dei truffatori. Ti ingannano vendendoti un una singola conversione di file e senza accorgetene ti prendono i dati di pagamento e ti ritrovi con un abbonamento con pagamento automatico senza aver autorizzato niente di ciò.

Anche io come altri ho subito una truffa online, da servizio gratuito che propongono ti ritrovi dopo una settimana con -49,99 euro da conto. iniziate a denunciare, non fermatevi.

Ho parlato con il vostro servizio, continuava a dirmi che il servizio era a pagamento ed era chiaro da sito, fino a quando ho iniziato ad inviarvi foto del servizio che presentate e di quello che in realtà succede. Il rimborso dopo tante minacce l'ho ricevuto ma di quello che avete scritto in risposta.... non ci credo. State attenti per la prossima volta e per i prossimi servizi che vendete.

On the payment page, the 1.99 € price was large and in the center, while the real subscription price of 49.99 € per month was only shown in very small, low‑contrast text at the bottom of the page. It was not obvious at all that I was signing up for a recurring monthly plan.

I only needed a one‑time use. After I saw the 49.99 € charge on my card, I cancelled the subscription and contacted support. At first they refused to refund the money, referring to a non‑refundable policy, even though the pricing design makes it very easy to miss the real monthly cost.

After I wrote a detailed review on Trustpilot and contacted them again by email, support finally cancelled my subscription and processed a full refund of the 49.99 €. I appreciate that the issue has now been resolved and that they eventually did the right thing. However, I still think the payment page should present the trial price and the monthly renewal together, with equal visibility, so that users can clearly see the real conditions of the subscription before paying.
