Quality improvement, but it adds smiles that aren't there, which sometimes changes the tone and more. Also some 'beautifying' of faces, which changes them considerably.

I google “free image upscale” , pixella comes up, i enter and it says completely free image upscale, then i realise i need to log in which is fine , i make an account, they upscale the image, but they do not let me download it until i pay? Whats the point of “completely free image upscale” if it isnt?

Everything they say in this chain is correct. I signed up for their $1.99 USD 7 day trial and they sent an email welcoming me to the seven day trial with no mention of need to cancel within 7 days. next email I got was 7 days later welcoming me as a monthly subscriber for 40 USD a month and they refused to refund it although I contacted them the same day my account was debited. I am now pursuing it through my banking institution. This is not a comment on the quality of their service, which in my brief exposure to it for only one hour seemed quite high, but I didn’t need it and I didn’t want it and I didn’t contract for it.

WARNING!! They Signed Me Up To A Subscription Without Permission

Add me to the list of all the other people "conned" by this site. I paid just over £1 to enhance one image, which was fair enough.

A week later (today) I get a text from my bank informing me Pixella had attempted to take almost £70 from my account. I went to the Pixella site and found I'd somehow been signed up to a subscription.

I didn't sign up to anything!! Luckily my bank declined the payments on my behalf and I have cancelled the subscription on the Pixella site.

Be very careful when using this website!

What a Hustle !

It's a hustle!
I purchased a weekly subscription (which automatically renews btw so watch out).
However, If you think you'll be able to use the site for the entire week you are WRONG!
Apparently at some point (20 images for me) you'll run out of "credits"... which you'll be asked to purchase again... and again...and again.
Here's me thinking a subscription means a subscription, how naïve.
just AVOID !
