I should have read the reviews before using. As others have written, I paid £0.99 for a three day trial and ended up with a recurring subscription which I foolishly didnt notice on my creditcard statement. Absolutely avoid.

I got scammed on 17 September 2026. They charged me three times consecutively and refused to issue a refund, though I did not subscribe to it. When I wrote to them, they stopped responding after I asked for a refund.

Don't ever come to it or try to subscribe 0.99 or 0.89 euro, for one time or one week ,they will sneakily rob you with 49.99 euro afterwards, amd you would have no option at all...

Edited one PDF, paid 0.99 EUR but they kept billing me 49.99 EUR every month even though I did not subscribe to enaything. Stay away from this website.

🚨 BIGGEST SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY FROM PDF GURU!

I strongly recommend NEVER using their paid service. In my experience, this is one of the biggest scams I have ever come across.

They charged me twice for a subscription, and when I contacted them repeatedly asking for a refund, they simply kept bombarding me with the same nonsense email again and again, saying that no refund is allowed. No proper investigation, no meaningful customer support and absolutely no effort to resolve the issue.

They simply take your money and refuse to refund it, even when you have clearly been charged twice.

What is even more suspicious is the complete lack of transparency. You will never seem to find a single actual employee of this company anywhere. Check LinkedIn yourself. You may find the company, but try finding the people actually working there. There appears to be virtually no transparent information about who is behind this business.

Other than an email address and a phone number with an automated IVR, there seems to be no meaningful way to contact a real person. Nobody answers the calls.

For me, this entire experience has been a huge red flag.

Il sito utilizza un sistema di pagamento fraudolento. A fronte di una iniziale cifra irrisoria per produrre un documento nel formato desiderato, tenta dopo alcuni giorni di effettuare un' operazione di 59,99€ per pseudo abbonamento, che per fortuna la mia banca ha bloccato.
Dunque tornando nel loro sito per capire meglio, leggo che il primo pagamento di qualche centesimo non è andato a buon fine ma la pagina offre un pulsante per "richiesta di disiscrizione da un abbonamento" NON PREMERE QUEL PULSANTE... infatti sotto c'è scritto che cliccandoci accetti di pagare 59,99€. Attenzione!

Me han cobrado la suscripción de 2 meses sin haberla autorizado. Pagué 0,95€ por un documento y me han estafado dos meses cobrándome 49,99€ al mes, un total de casi 100€. Ahora tengo problemas para darme de baja y para recuperar mi dinero. Son unos estafadores, no entiendo cómo pueden tener tan buenos comentarios en esta plataforma. ¿Serán ciertos o estarán manipulados?

if you let them charge your account at first time use for about 1 usd, then you (somehow) accept their monthly subscription and they will automatically charge your account for 50usd next month. SCAM!

Sono stata truffata anch'io e nel pomeriggio andrò alla polizia postale.
Se, come sostenete, non siete voi, prendete provvedimenti per far cancellare il sito "omonimo".
E' una truffa vera e propria!

PDF Guru is a scam!
I worked with one document and paid a small charge of 150 JPY for downloading this document.
By the end of the moth I found out that they signed me for subscription and charged me 45 EUR!
I have never selected any plan on PDF Guru and had no idea about this subscription.

a monthly charge of almost 9000 JPY? You gotta be kidding me.

I asked it to convert an .mp4 file to an .mp3 file, and it said that it would take about 60 seconds to fully convert the file. I waited for about 10 seconds, and the estimation had already reduced to 20 seconds. The bar said that it was 93 % done, so I expected it to finish quickly. And guess what? I waited 30 whole minutes, and it still wasn't done. In fact, it was still stuck on 93 %! I reported it, but the staff wouldn't reply. Eventually, work that could have been done on freeconvert.com in a matter of minutes wasn't even completed in a whole day.

Nachdem ich das Abonnement bei PDFGuru, das an sich schon unter intransparenten Bedingungen zustande kam, fristgerecht gekündigt habe, verweigert PDFGuru durch Nichtreagieren und ausweichenden Angaben zu angeblich technischen Problemen die gemäß EU-Bestimmungen mir zustehende Rückerstattung der ersten Aborate von etwa 50 Euro, trotz mehrmaliger Aufforderung. Von Zeitpunkt der Vertragskündigung bis heute sind nun 6 Wochen vergangen.

If I could give a 0/5, I would. They charge you without warning or reason, without mentioning anything during the trial period.

They don’t cancel subscriptions, eaven then, they still charge you the 49.99€ scam site don’t sing up!!

They don’t want to refund charge that they made (49.99€) because their website didn’t let to cancel subscription!!!
Stay away from this website!
