Fantastic
Brilliant that we could pay in instalments at no extra cost. Monthly reminders at least three days before payments were due. They also provided a contact number in case of any issues. I would recommend them to everyone, so professional and helpful.

Harassment
My bank account was unfortunately compromised the day prior to my Payl8r payment coming out.
Payl8r take the payment via the 'long' number on your bank card rather than your bank account number and sort code, so as my card needed to be cancelled, this caused the payment to fail.
I contacted Payl8r and advised them of the date I expected to receive my new card and would be able to make the payment, seemed straightforward so far.
Following this call, Payl8r proceeded to hound me with emails and text messages daily which continued until today, the date I said I would make the payment, my card had arrived and I duly made the payment as I said I would. Whilst unimpressed with their conduct so far, I assumed this would be the end of the matter. I was wrong.
Following may payment (first thing this morning) I have received no less than three further emails and two text messages demanding payment, despite having received an earlier email confirming the payment had been received!
One of these emails was a very dramatic email from my 'Account Manager' titled 'BROKEN PROMISE - PAYMENT FAILED' - they had tried to take payment from a card I had already told them had been cancelled, despite my having already made the payment using my new card.
I had the money to make the payment, all I was waiting on was my new card to do so, but I feel so sorry for people who are experiencing genuine financial difficulties and have to experience the absolute hounding you get from this company.
I get for the account managers at ground level, they are only doing as they are told in their job, but to the hierarchy who make up these processes, what part of your tiny minds thinks this is normal to hound someone incessantly when they have already given you a very valid reason for non-payment and a promise date of when payment will be made?
For anyone reading this, if you are considering a purchase where Payl8r is the provider, give it a swerve and go elsewhere.
BTW regarding their response below saying they’d contact me to discuss my concerns, they didn’t!

Dangerous and predatory behaviour
Dangerous and predatory behaviour. Even after discussing payment plans or agreed amounts, they still attempt multiple payments from your bank for different amounts, seemingly hoping that some or all of them will go through.
In my case, they took money that had been allocated for priority bills and took payjent three times within seconds. There has been no proper contact, no meaningful response, and no attempt to resolve it properly.
This kind of behaviour feels unfair, aggressive, and irresponsible, and I do not believe it would be looked on favourably by regulators such as the FCA. Avoid.
