This app is functionally dead in the UK now. Even the website doesn't work. Parkopedia at it's prime was amazing but it's sad to see that there are no other viable alternatives now.

Parkopedia is a Scam. My parents attempted to pre pay for a parking space and received an error message. They tried multiple times using two different cards. They were telephoned by there bank who stopped the payment and cancelled the card. My parents are 80 years old and wanted the space to attend a Jools Holland concert. There confidence had been knocked and they didn’t attend the concerts so their tickets were wasted
My experience is frustrating. Tried to book and keep getting different "fail" notices after going through the process. Says to try again. Following that advice, I now have 4 x payment charges on my credit card..... Have sent multiple emails to Parkopedia but currently no luck. I see a reply to anther user that they partner with "JustPark". Tried their site and it's showing the particular car park is "full". What now for a very frustrated customer?? Wish I had checked the reviews first....
Prepaid for parking. Show up to lot and was denied entry. Lot was full. Emailed Parkopedia for a refund and they did not respond.

Did not work. No spot was available and the attendant had no record of a reservation. Managed to contact the company and supply the info they wanted, but they are no longer responding. There is no phone number

I went to book a space for October 21st and when I went to pay it said "Something went wrong - try again". I did this and got the exact same message. Then I noticed that Parkopedia had taken two identical payments from my credit card and my account doesn't even show a booking for me - no email confirmation - nothing!!

This is a shocking company, with appalling procedures, which I will never use again.

The website was misleading. Even though it stated “there will be an extra fee for over sized vehicle… it will be added on to the end of the transition”. That’s fine. But what I didn’t know not every location accepted over sized vehicles. That verbiage was on the first location and I booked it. But it was a different story when we arrived. The person that was supposed to accept our vehicle didn’t even take our vehicle. So I booked another location not too far… maybe ¾ of a mile away. Anyways. The second location accepted our vehicle. And when I went on the website to request a refund; Serghei Munteanu helped me the whole transaction. Thank you, Serghei!!! I haven’t received the funds but Serghei advised me that it would take 2-16 business days to come through. Maybe instruct calling the location on the website to see if they accept over sized vehicles. Or maybe indicate that location don’t accept or don’t have the room for large vehicles.
Great customer service. I made a reservation, and ended up getting charged twice -- once from the garage and once from Parkopedia. I sent an email to Parkopedia. They responded quickly, and asked for proof of parking (which to me was an understandable request), so I sent a pix of the receipt. I received a credit shortly thereafter. I will use Parkopedia again.
Had to pay extra to park a van... No mention of this charge on Parkopedia.
However I checked other apps and they have mentioned the extra charge.
If I had been advised by Parkopedia it would not have been an issue.
No reimbursement received for the lack of information.
Will not be using Parkopedia again
Terrible company. Paid for 2 parking spots in Manchester last month. We left before our finish time I had booked and today we've both received parking fines from the carpark company. I have receipts and confirmations from Parkopedia so will see what happens but reading about other people's experiences I'm not holding out much hope. Definitely won't be using them again and will be telling people to to either.

This is my first and only experience with Parkopedia. Parkopedia has not responded to my multiple emails regarding the parking they sold me at a closed facility in Walnut Creek. I sent photos of the locked parking entrance and a photo of the hours that the facility is actually open. No response, no refund.
UPDATE: After many back and forth emails and, Parkopedia requiring proof that I was unable to park in the facility I paid for, I was finally issued a refund. I had to provide proof that I paid for parking at another facility that day, and I just happened to have a receipt.
Inaccurate pricing and data, not for the first time. All day parking in Nottingham, told it would be £9.50, turns out to be £19.50.
Do not use if you want a guaranteed parking space. It happens often when the garage is full, bookings from Parkopedia is not recognized. It happened to us when we booked and paid for a space 11 days before the event and my husband had to double park, miss the event while our daughter ran a NYRR race. We have booked from garages directly and the bookings are honored while they turn customers booked through Parkopedia away. Parkopedia is also stalling giving us the refund back.
I booked with Parkopedia at Ibis Luton Airport ( September 2023).All went good,but after one month I received PCN from Parkmaven.To cut the story short,it took Me and Parkopedia months to sort the mater out( January 24).They helped Me in each letter and complain that we done,especially Guy called Stan.Thank You Stan,thanks Parkopedia. Definitely I will book with them again.
Parked into the Gloucester Southgate Moorings without knowing for how long I'll end up parking for. Ended extending the stay, paying for 3 tickets, for almost 5 1/2 hours, totalling £8.80, when the total day ticket is £8. Surely in the 21st century, when the busses even have for so many years, a system that will tell if you used your card too many times, it will stop charging over a certain amount, to either have a similar system when typing the car reg no, or simply using a camera and paying for how long you stayed. The use of pay and display system these days, with the risk of extending stays to the point where overpayment takes place, is easily perceived as a scam, regardless how legally protected the idea is. Even the app needs to be modified to include the potential for extension. 3 stars because the parking is a necessity, and there is plenty around the centre. But the Pay and display needs to be replaced at least by a camera monitoring system tied to the paying machine.

I pre-booked and paid £70 for a parking space at a hotel in London. On arrival I was told that there were no spaces available and the hotel did not book spaces out. Tried to contact to obtain a refund and still awaiting a reply.
Parked in Royal surrey hospital. Checked in fir 1 hour with card. Machine took 3.70. Had to check out on departure. Following day I see parkopedia have taken 9.80 as well. I rang parking office and they said its just a precaution because of the people that don't pay. The money won't actually be taken. Well it was. Can't get through to parkopedia on phone. Don't answer e mails. This is disgusting. Or even theft. Very disappointed.
They advertised inflated hourly rates for a private car park at a hotel, which actually offer the first 3 hours free. So, I basically wasted my money.
Why are you offering my parking space on this app .. it’s not yours to charge for .. I’m on to the council tomorrow and I wish my address be removed
