Tried to cancel before being shipped as I saw extremely bad reviews on other sites. Request was denied. Boots arrived two weeks later (they could have cancelled them). I tried to put one on and it didn’t even go I’ve my ankle. Never worn never walked in brand new and they denied a return saying that I had worn them! I sent pictures proving this too

Bought 2 shoes for women's US size 6, and they sent me both times EU women's size 37-38, which is equal to 6.5-7.5 US size. What they sent me was closer to size 7.5 fit! The first time I said the shoe is too big and please make sure you send me the correct size the 2nd time. They ended up sending me the same wrong size shoe, even when I said it was too big. They find everyday to not refund you - even when they made the mistake TWICE. Horrible company. Like so many other reviewers, I will TELL EVERYONE Orthofit is a SCAM!

These shoes are utter crap. First, they’re made in China and take a MONTH to arrive. Once they do, uh oh, they’re tight, poorly made, not “step-in” design as advertised and not very warm at all. And you cannot return them. The company’s policy is “if you try them on, they are not returnable.” Either way, you must pay all shipping charges.

Yeah, same as everyone else the site says american based company, free returns blah blah blah. I ordered my shoes in September its December 31st and they still haven't arrived. Ive been speaking with someone in customer service but they refuse to give my money back period. After ordering it took some time but there was finally a tracking number and I watched that tracking nunber move very slowly which is when I realized they were in China. Then they just stopped moving. I waited and watched and nothing. So November I reached out and the guy got right back to me via email saying he'd look into it. He then got back to me December 14th explaining that the logistics team is investing and if found that package is indeed lost they'd send out a new order. This after asking for my money back. So fine, whatever at least they'll get me something shipped, right? No. Its December 31st and nothing. No email update, no tracking, nothing. Someone here said they went to PayPal to get their money, which is what I am going to go do now. I too saw reviews that all said great things, outside of their site, I guess I didnt look well enough because there are SO many more on reddit and here that give one star and I am just one more of those 1 star reviews. Don't do it.

Finally, after 26 days since ordered, I received 1 of 3 orders. These brown shoes advertised as fleece outdoor winter shoes @ $49.95 are more like fleece lined fabric moccasins which I will use as house slippers. No orthopedic support in them. The added a second pair not in my order, but added to it and charged to my credit card are the default size 5 which I will donate to charity. I have learned my lesson about trusting online vendors without diligent research.

Orthofit is not a legitimate reputable business entity. They are scammers. Do not purchase their products. They offer no phone customer service, and have auto-generated email responses when you contact them. I ordered a pair of boots, and then immediately changed my mind, within 15 minutes. They would not cancel my order and refund my account. This company does not follow ethical business practices. Buyers beware.. you have been warned!

They won't let you return shoes if you try them on to see if they fit. Total scam.

Cheap horrible shoes. Horrible customer service. Stay clear of this company. They are a rip off. Never heard of shoes you could not return if you tried them on. Wish I saw these reviews before I purchased. The reviews on their site are all 5 stars. They cannot possibly be real reviews!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. After looking for shoes that would accommodate my custom orthotics, I ordered 2 pairs from this company. I did not realize they were not US based and were shipping from China. No where does it state that on their website and they also state that they offer returns and refunds. When they arrived, I was disappointed in the packaging - not sent in boxes, but each pair in a zip-lock bag inside a plastic shipping bag. Okay, no problem, they arrived fine. My orthotics would not fit correctly so I could not even try them on. I went back online to their website to get a return started and there were no forms available. So I emailed them. They denied the return stating they could not accept them due to having been "worn". I asked them to please re-read my email. At that point, they offered me a store credit of $10 (my shoes were $120) toward another purchase (uh....NO). Then they counter-offered a couple of more times. I finally filed a complaint through PayPal and after much back and forth - I have gotten a partial refund of 50% of what I paid and I can keep the shoes to donate them. I chose this resolution, as they do not tell you that the shoes have to be returned to China, despite the shipping label stating they were shipped from Illinois. Shipping to China for that order would have been close to $95 for international shipping and tracking. Again, buyer BEWARE!!!

Worst piece of crap shoes! Plastic sloes! Ridiculous… no returns! No emails answered! SCAM!!

Two where accidently ordered, emailed immediately. Git a reply nothing could be done. When order arrived since they were made in China not correct sizing. Tried to send back no return info only email and was told would have to pay international charges of about 20 to 30 dollars with very strict info. Afraid if I do send back will miss something in their return policy and not lose $ but items as well. Quality is poor, do not recommend this company at all!

This company is a total scam. if I could give them a-10 review, I would. I ordered a pair of shoes from them, but realized I ordered the wrong size, so ordered the correct size. Contacted them as soon as I realized my error, but it was "too late" to stop the shipment. Told them I expected a return for refund when shipment arrived. When both pair arrived, the correct size was too big. Contacted them again, asked for return for refund for both. Was asked if I tried the shoes on to determine they were too big. Of course, I did. In their minds, this equates to the shoes being used and they cannot refund me due to "health reasons". BS!!! They offered me $20 credit to shop their website, told them not to bother, I wouldn't be purchasing from them ever again.
Still waiting for a response on the shoes that were sent in error and have never been tried on. I wish I had checked reviews prior to ordering. learned my lesson on this one.

I ordered winter boots with zips on the side. When I received them and tried them on on just 1 foot for less than a minute, I realized that the zipper does not work all the way to the top and the soles are so slippery on just carpet that they would never work in snowy or icy conditions. According to the refund policy, I should be able to return them if I am not fully satisfied. Wrong. Since I tried them on, they were now considered USED. They offered only 20% refund on the purchase price plus lucky me a partial credit on another purchase. What a crock! I will giving these to a charity. Maybe someone can use them without injuring themselves on ice. Never never buy from this company. Scam central!!!!

Orthofit is a scam. Read the reviews they have a 96% 1 star rating. How are they still operating on the Internet?

I ordered 2 pairs of flip flops. I thought I was dealing with orthofeet. They are awful and when I tried to return them they said they were worn so they wouldn't take them back. One pair is still in a sealed plastic bag. This company is a scam.

Oh, how I wish I had checked here first. The sport sandals are not soft. They are hard as rocks. There is no hassle free return policy. They tell you that they will give you a paltry 15 or 20% refund and a transferable credit to buy something else. What you get is a $10 coupon code and this minimal refund. They tell you: you will need to ship it back to CHINA even though the package came from California. They say you’ll have to pay import and customs duties on your return. The return experience is HASSLE FULL and non existent. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Be very careful with this is seller- this is scam. They are not accept any return, moreover their size not fit proper charts. I am wear only 1 min when I receive boots and size 10.5-11 not goodto small! Can you imagine my size always was 11 and this is not fit because quality product very low. Not reccomend buy from them.

The date of the transaction was, 10-26-2024, Order #ORTH78002. OrthoFit Orthopedic Winter Comfort boots black was purchased. I received the boots on 11-04-2024. Once received it was immediately obvious that the boots would not fit. I did not wear the boots, I simply stuck one foot in a boot, and discovered that it was too small. The store's return policy states the product can be returned within a 30 day period, and that I needed to request an RMA form to arrange for return shipment and pay for the costs of returning the product to the warehouse before I would receive any refund. Subsequently OrthoFit, (representative: James Scott) after requesting and receiving pictures of the product to verify its unused state refused to refund my money citing that the boots had been worn and were no longer sanitary. The company was prepared to give me 10% of the refund to use towards a new pair of boots, which is unacceptable.
