I ordered 2 pairs of boots not knowing which size to buy and fully expecting to return one of the two. The boots were a good price, keep my feet warm and overall I am pleased with my purchase.

The reason for this one star review is the poor customer service!

I am not able to return the second pair for refund or credit.

I filled out customer service request from website for return authorization code and received no response. I wrote a second time and received a response 3 days later that I needed to provide additional documentation and pictures.

I submitted this information only to be told your request is after our 30 day return policy.

I wrote several follow up responses which included my initial request to return the second pair of boots which was within seven days of receiving boot delivery.

The need to provide additional pictures and documentation with slow response times are purely to make sure the customer can’t return their purchase.

Orthofit lost a customer because of deceptive return policy. Buyer Beware!

I ordered a pair of size 8 black winter boots and the company promptly took the money from my account but I never received them. They sent me a tracking email which was inaccurate as it stated the package was delivered. It was not. I was never sent my 59.95 back OR the boots.

If there was a way to rate this business a zero zero I would. This business is a total scam! Thieves! Dishonest, zero integrity, zero ethics. Flat out Liars! Why hasn’t any authority shut this business down? I paid for a pair of winter boots, and never received them. The only thing I received was an email telling me they would check on the status, only after I sent an email asking for the status. Never heard from them again. Imagine that! They just slither away into the dark web like the theiven snakes that they are. I purchased the item January 6, 2025, sent an email January 25, 2025, wondering where my order was, they responded January 29, 2025, and February 6, 2025. I was told they would check the status both times. Nothing since then.

I purchased a pair of Men's ankle height snow boots in a size 12. I purchased them a half size larger than what I normally wear based on the recommendation. They are entirely too small and have no arch support whatsoever. To return them I have to pay shipping back to China at a cost that is 62.7% of what I paid. Total BS for a piece of crap shoe made by a shell company. I cant wait for tariffs to be imposed on China imports. Never buy from this company

I thought I was ordering from Orthofeet. I ordered a pair of waterproof hiking boots but the next day I decided to check reviews. I saw so many negative reviews that I decided to cancel the order immediately. They never responded to my request to cancel and went ahead and shipped them anyway. I am working with PayPal to resolve this, but I must warn people not to use this company. Their refund policy states that if you even try them on that is the same as wearing them and they would consider them used and not refund you. If you decide to send them back, they make you pay for shipping them to China and then offer you 15% of your total cost and a $10 credit to the store. So I am joining all the other negative reviews and warning you - do not order from this company! I haven’t received the shoes yet, but based on what I’ve read, I sure don’t want them and will fight to get a full refund.

Your taking a chance on whether you'll even receive your order. Company extremely quick to take your money. They don't take responsibility once product has been shipped. Don't try to make customer happy. Beware.

Called to cancel order after 40 days and tracking status never change. Emailed to cancel order, to no avail. Received "Orthofit" shoes in the mail, no box just a bag. There was no Orthofit Brand on the shoes, they were not wide as ordered, and they were cheaply made. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE FOLKS. I will donate them to the local Goodwill store

The product provided was substandard. The return policy stated 'hassle-free'. Clearly this is untrue. After many prompts The Orthofit Store did respond to my return request, but only after I had filed a dispute claim with PayPal did they provide a return form. The return requied that the shoes be sent to China at a cost of $32.50 plus packaging and would be subject to an inspection to assess that the tags were still on the shoes and they had not even been tried on. There were no tags when the shoes were received and how can it be determined if they had even been tried on. This is clearly a policy that will result in a refund being rejected so there is no point in sending them to China.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR!!

Horrible customer service! Refuse to accept my return request because I accidentally bought add-on shoe. They ignored me so they won't have to accept a return

Too bad there isn't a minus review. UGH! I bought some shoes because I need a wide toe box for a brace I wear. They won't work on my braced foot, the other foot is fine. They wanted me to take pics of them to show them how they could make them better. I paid $60 for them, will cost $26 to send them back. However, the fine print it says if you have tried them on, they are deemed used and cannot be returned. I'm beyond mad, but it was a great lesson. Mine has a Los Angelese return address on the package, but to return them, I have to send them to china for them to determine if they will refund me. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another dissatisfied customer here. Tried to cancel 10 minutes after ordering. Two days later they responded that the shoes were already on the way and could not cancel. I tried to return another order and they told me to send them to China (over a week after I sent 3 emails). They are defrauding people. They do not have an address on the site or phone number. They do not tell customers they are located in China to specifically rip Americans off! it will cost triple to return shoes to China than what I paid for them even though there is a Texas return of address in the package. Contacting credit card company now.

Total scam. Shoes arrived 5 weeks after ordering and did not fit at all. Requested refund and return label per their “30 day refund policy”. After multiple requests they offered $15 refund and a gift card for $15 on a $60 shoe order. Thankfully I had paid via PayPal and they helped me get a full refund.

I should have read these reviews before buying from Orthofit. The delivery of my order took too long and when I asked for a refund and a return address , customer service stopped responding! this is unacceptable. Someone should investigate Orthofit.
I should also add that they will eventually tell you “Payment Settlements:
All associated shipping costs, including customs fees, must be settled to ensure successful delivery. If these costs are not covered, the package may be returned to the sender, which could delay or prevent your refund.” - even if your reason for returning the item was because of their delays. This is unacceptable.

From order to delivery it took 3 weeks via China post. They are charging your card immediately. The quality is so trashy and cheap looking and the sandal would fall of my heel because strap is so badly made. Customer service is NON responsive with a RETURN request being sent. DO NOT BUY, junk and scam!

As so many people have said, the shoes were much too small, significantly smaller than a usual size. I contracted support twice via email but they have not replied at all. The products are coming directly from China (you can see from the post), and if I knew that I would not have ordered at all.

The shoe was the wrong size. It was a gift and I needed a wide instead of a regular fit. Anyway, when asking about exchanging it we were told the shipping would be at our expense. My mother who made the purchase for me, is 78 yrs young. She read that the return policy is hassle free. However, when trying to get them to provide a return label we were told it was our responsible to ship the return. Also, if the return wasn't in perfect condition then we wouldn't be refunded. This place is awful to work with. I've been going round and round with Tyler Adams. I've told him he is scamming unsuspecting elders out of money. They suggested refunded 30% of my money and I told them I'd be willing to settle for 50% and they came back and told me they'd be willing to refund 15%. They are a joke. Beware of this company. This company is in China so beware. I got a quote for the return to China and it was going to be $96 dollars to return the shipment. The shoe was a half size bigger than I normally wear so my mother figured it would fit but it was made smaller than an American made shoe. Please do not waste your time and money on this company.

Wore these boots 4 or 5 times and the zipper breaks.
Company was of no help said there 30 return period had passed.
So if it has a zipper id stay away. The boots were cheaply made very light weight. Total waste of my money.

Buyer beware, the shoes are not true to size. I ordered a size larger but the shoes were still too small. In essence they except no returns. The insole was cheap and had no cushioning. I gave the shoes to my sister, they fit her, I only wonder how long they will last.

Scam, Scam Scam!!! DO NOT BUY! I tried to cancel my order before it was shipped and they shipped anyway. I tried to return the package unopened and they won't send me the address to return them. I have sent them several emails and all I get is why are you returning them. I answer the questions and they continue to send the same message, of why. The are also on Facebook, left them a nice complaint there as well. Save your money and go to a US brick and mortar store with company values.
