The company shows images of high quality shoes which are supposedly orthopedic and on sale. I received my sandals almost 3 weeks after ordering because they came from China. Nowhere in their website does it state that is where they are coming from. The sandals I bought were supposed to retail for over $85, which good orthopedic sandals do. These were cheaper quality than you would find at Walmart. There is no size mark or name brand anywhere on the shoe. I had trouble with the shipping address and after I complained to customer service they were willing to credit me $3.59; 10% of what I paid on sale. What a joke!!! SCAM company. I tried to file with my bank for a fraudulent purchase, and they told me I could only do that if I sent them back and the company refused to refund me. The cost to send them back was not worth the attempt. Also customer service stated that if the package had been opened, they would consider the shoes “worn” and no refund would be made. BEWARE!!!!
I confused them with Orthofeet, which is a reputable company. Wish I had some recourse. 😢

Beware – Misleading, Unprofessional, and Refuses to Resolve Issues

I strongly warn anyone considering buying from this company. My experience has been nothing but a nightmare.
• No receipt or transaction documents were ever sent to me, yet they charged my account twice without my permission. I only found out the second charge after speaking to my bank.
• The website and order made it seem like the sneakers were coming from Jamaica, New York, but in reality, the products are from China. The package arrived from New York, but if you want to return it, they demand you send it back to China — which costs an outrageous amount of money.
• The sneakers I received were the wrong sizes (one adult size, one child size), extremely poor quality, with a strong rubber odor, and nothing like the product advertised.
• I contacted them immediately and for five days I have been going back and forth with no resolution. They respond at odd hours (midnight or 4 a.m.), are completely unprofessional, and refuse to provide a prepaid return label.
• They are clearly misleading customers to avoid paying for returns, making it almost impossible to get your money back.

I have filed a dispute with my bank, and I strongly advise all consumers to avoid this company. They are dishonest, misleading, and take advantage of customers. Do not trust them with your money.

Terrible experience when trying to return an item. Purchased a pair of boots that did not fit. After multiple emails and I was to get someone to respond. They do not tell you that is costs over $200 to return an item to China. Will be donating the boots.

Took order nearly 3 weeks to arrive (from China) who knew?. Very cheaply made, sizing was large. Requested return. I was informed shipping, fees and tarrif reimbursement was part of their process. Nearly 30.00 for a 100.00 order! My bad.. .Forewarned ! Borderline scam!

Don't even think about buying shoes from this company. 1) the shoes are very cheaply made and have no support, 2) You can't return them unless you want to pay for shipping, handling fees, and custom fees back to China, 3) it says in the return paperwork: "Please note that due to our strict hygiene policy, shoes that have been tried on are
considered used and are not eligible for return"
Complete Scam.

Only ordered 1 pair and when I clicked "submit order" 2 pairs showed up and I immediately e mailed and called to have adjustment for just the one. CS stated would investigate and get back to me. After 3 attempts and 5 days said nothing they can do and will be shipped. When I hit on the YUN tracking# my computer was taken over by a 3rd party which I had to STOP the hack and I have an APPLE w firewalls which helped. The hack site/tracking site had a support number to call which was a trash collection company. This is a nightmare and they should be shut down. I will send the shoes back as soon as I receive and warn others to stay far away from this vendor and site activity.

SCAM ALERT..READ REVIEWS. EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TO BUYERS.HAPPENED TO ME, AND THEN SOME. AND, SOMEHOW THEY DIDN’T GO THROUGH SHOP PAY AS REQUESTED LOST 80.00. And, I’m 75 years old..on Social Security only.
PLEASE EVERYONE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY . I’m going to change my debit card number. I would advise everyone to do this, immediately after dealing with them. Blessings

These were horrible, cheaply made shoes with zero cushioning and orthopedic support. I had to leave them outside for several days for them to off-gas due to their horrible chemical smell. I also go scammed into buying two pairs. DO NOT purchase product from this company based in China!

Terrible shoes and customer support. Bought a pair of shoes and thought they were in the U.S. When shipping info was supplied they were from China. Took weeks to get shoes. When arrived they were not as advertised and very poor quailty. When contacted for return was told we could keep the shoes and recieve 10% of the price back or pay shipping to China which is more than the cost of the shoes. Buyer beware about the company and in my opinion would not buy from the company

Its not worth the money, Its waste of time to buy and retrun process is horrible. There is no way we can get the money back.

Took weeks maybe a month for the shoes to arrive. They were old and the material was “crunchy” like expired elastic sounds. I reached out to them and they offered a 4 dollar refund on a pair of shoes that cost over 30 dollars. They don’t send free shipping labels and expect for you to pay to return to China!

This place should be shut down!

This is the worst company. The shoes were huge, totally misshappen due to being crammed in a cheap bag. Customer service is a joke. To return these it is over $200. SCA<

Orthofit sent the pair of shoes with the left shoe smaller than the right shoe. They would not refund full amount and the shipping back to China was almost the cost of the shoe. They were unwilling to fix the problem. I would NEVER order from them again and it is a scam because the shoes are not as advertised and you don't know what you will receive. They are just wanting money. The refund policy does NOT describe or say the shoes need to be sent back to China. We were unaware the shoes would be coming from China. Sadly the experience was disappointing

SCAM ALERT!!!!!!! Manufactured in China. Poor quality. Purposeful redundant charges. No refund allowed.

Extremely Poor service started when they added a second pair of shoes to my order and refused to remove it. Shoes received were poor quality material, contrary to ads was uncomfortable, and second pair was in size 4 1/2, 5 sizes too small for me. They would only accept return if I paid costs to return to China with tracking. They offered to refund me 15% of the order. I donated the unwearable shoes.

Just sent this email to OrthoFit--

As you probably expected (and because you don't accept returns of items that have been tried on), I will accept the ridiculously low refund offer of 10% of purchase price for items that don't fit. Even if I hadn't tried the shoes on, I would probably accept that offer (and donate the shoes to a local charity) rather than go through the hassle, expense (postage and potential customs duties), uncertainty, and long delays of a shipment to China.

I do not know how you can expect a customer to determine whether shoes fit without trying them on (I was wearing clean socks!). All shoe stores in the United States (and every other on line vendor with which I have dealt) allow customers to try on shoes before purchasing them. And the problem with the footwear is not an issue of personal preference; my issue is that the shoes in fact do not fit.

It is utterly ludicrous for you to expect to do business in the United States when returns have to be sent out of the country, and we request that that feature of your return policy be made absolutely obvious in your website statement of that policy -- perhaps even a statement on the order form that makes this return policy explicit to anyone planning to order from you (especially making clear that returns must be sent to China---or identifying those products that must be returned to China or any another foreign country).

I will do no further business with Orthofit, and I will warn other potential customers that your return policy is not a viable return policy for customers in the United States. Doing business on line requires a more sensible, workable return policy than you offer.

Unhappy Customer

I just received my shoes a few minutes ago and have to ask for a refund, and the company offered $5. This is a very dishonest company and concerned they have my financial information to boot.

1. It has a strong and horrible chemical smell, I cannot tolerate it.

2. The sole is hard! Not supportive or orthotic in any way. Unable to use for the purpose of what you sold it for. This is false advertising.

I ordered a pair of shoes from Orthofit. When paid balance was different checked why. I had an extra pair that I didn’t order. I emailed maybe within 10 minutes. I tell them I did not order this extra pair of shoes. Can you please cancel them? They said “Im sorry you’re thinking of canceling your order” they would get back to me. He gets back to me in about an hour. “I’m sorry it’s in processing.” “I could not stop it.” It’s been like 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon! Went to my PayPal filed a claim stating I did not approve payment on the size 4 pair of shoes. They ruled in my favor. Reimbursed me for that pair of shoes. I wanted to return both pairs and have nothing to do with them. The shoes were so cheaply made. I’m not paying for return fee to China. Had no idea that’s where I was buying from. I told them I will return the size 4 but you’re paying return shipping fee. I have not heard from them. This company is dishonest on purpose.

Total rip off. Never use. Price of return almost equal to price of purchase.

I would give it zero stars these are the worst shoes I have ever seen in my entire life I got $5 flip-flops from Burlington that are way softer if they're supposed to be for orthopedic support then this company needs to be sued for the lies they are ridiculously hard they slide and they ought to be ashamed of themselves I say to anybody who was thinking about buying them do not run away from their website they are terrible terrible company I wish I can send them back the but I'm sure they will make it difficult for me to return these horrible rock hard plastic shoe. It's a shame because there are people out here with truly bad knees and bad back that really need orthopedic shoes in this company is just a fraud just a terrible fraud
