They use a payment method called Stripe Stripe has been compromised and card details stolen I have had £60 stolen from my bank account. Do not use their Direct from bank payment option "Stripe" After using stripe to make a couple of payments to my card amazon charges have started appearing on my current account. The bank told me these were done using the same recent way of paying my ONMO card. I put 2 and 2 together after finding out Stripe has been hacked before and customers details stolen. Just Google it

Took ages to verify my account. Used it laid my first payment back and they've now frozen my card for no reason, customer services are useless no response back only option is to email but they just ignore you.

I have just read Keely's Fraud review dated Feb 9th 2026. This is an exact replica of what happened to me the day before on Jan 17th. Same M.O same company Airtime and almost an identical experience with OMNO. The investigation is still "ongoing" although I have provided every piece of information OMNO has requested, they have now asked for the same information again. To make matters worse, when I asked for my account to be frozen it took days for them to do this,allowing a further fraudulent attempt to be made. They then increased my credit limit by a further 4000 without any notification or request to do so (Given the account was supposed to have been frozen, this did not reassure me that my account was safe) I only found out about the increase when I received my creit report from Equifax. When I called OMNO to remove this immediately, their supervisor advised "He wasn't sure they could do this but he would look onto it" Given that reponse, I Immediately put this request in writing and the credit increase was removed. I was then told this was a technical error ?. However, the removal of the increased limit sent my account into arrears as the fraud took my account over my credit limit. This has now had a negative effect on my credit file, despite receiving a written confirmation from OMNO that this would not happen and that my credit report would not be adversly affected. I then wrote a letter of complaint and again the response included confirmation that my credit file would not be affected. The complaint has not been upheld although every part of my experience since the fraud took place has been filled with lack of communuication from OMNO, dubious financial practice( increasing my credit limit without any notification or agreement) Failure to address the fraudulent activity in reasonable time, No document or data control, ( asking me to resend all the evidence to suppport the fraud which was already provided in January) and damaging my credit score. I have now informed them that I am now taking my case to the FOS. as I have given them every opportunity to put this right.
Looking at previous cases raised with the FOS, I can see the contents of my complaint are common practice with OMNO . It seems they are not learning from their mistakes and are ignoring the trends identified

Whilst the application was smooth, what was frustrating was their verification system. Despite verifying, transactions have been declined on multiple occasions. You're also unable to use this card with PayPal. I found the service inconsistent and the interest rate too high, which spikes if you dont pay in full. Not worth it for all the struggles paying for things. Have now closed the account and that process was at least smooth.

Things were great, decent company and good credit limit. Was using the card responsibly and all was well.
Last month somehow my card / account was hacked / cloned / whatever, and approx £800 was taken from my card without my authorisation. When I woke in the morning and saw the notifications on my phone I immediately froze my card and contacted Onmo.
They advised me that I need to complete a fraud form and that the fraud department will deal with it within 10 days.
According to FCA rules fraudulent transactions should be made right / refunded by the end of the business day after you report the crime.
Anyway I asked for them to reimburse the missing money and they assured me that the fraud department would indeed refund / indemnify my account within the FCA timeframe while they investigate.
We are now on day 16 since I reported the issue and emailed the form to the fraud team. I have emailed asking for updates and had no response. I have spoken to customer service and not really got anywhere apart from them trying to reassure me it will be resolved.
My account is still close the the credit limit with over £800 worth of fraudulent transactions showing.
I travel abroad in a few days and cleared the balance on the card last month with intent to use it out there. That now looks unlikely.
They have not adheard to the FCA's code of conduct and the FCA advised me to officially report this to them in writing. I have not done this yet as I am still holding on with a hope that it will be resolved before I go abroad.
Holding out hope.
