Okavango Delta Explorations Arvostelua

Okavango Delta Explorations arranged an exceptional trip for us. Jacqueline truly took the time to understand and meet all our requirements. We can honestly say 'she went the extra mile!' We stayed in three amazing camps in the Delta at the recommendation of Jacqueline - these totally exceeded our expectations. Alongside this, Jacqueline supported us whilst on holiday, answering any queries and giving us reassurance. We would not hesitate to recommend Okavango Delta Explorations.

Very good service thank you

Anna at Okavango Delta Explorations made our dream come true. We were so pleased with the service Anna provided. She listened to us and catered the trip so it suited us perfectly. We spent 9 nights in 3 seperate safari camps in the Delta. We were looked after the moment we arrived in Maun until we left. We highly recommend using Okavango Delta Explorations and will hopefully use them again in the future.

This was our 2nd safari and it was great - all focused in Botswana and all handled by Maxine at ODE. Normally we do independent trips but decided to work with ODE/Maxine and it was clear this is a top notch outfit. Very easy to work with - all email - and together Maxine and we worked out a great trip to 4 camps that showcased the diversity of Botswana. Logistics were spot on and all went smoothly.

The people, the places, the wildlife - all amazing. Incredible experience that should be on everyone’s bucket list

Incredible service, delicious food, and attention to detail -- our horseback safari was magical -- a trip of a lifetime! Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Cheetah, Hyena, Wild Dogs and so much more -- amazing to see from helicopter, horseback, jeep, and boat. On several occasions, elephants walked right through camp! Highly recommend this company.

From our initial contact and ongoing communication the company put together a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. Every transfer, booking and adventure was tailored for our personal interest.
We would highly recommend this very professional company.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Okavango Delta Explorations and could not recommend them highly enough.

From the very beginning, they listened carefully to our wishes and put together an itinerary that was perfectly tailored to us. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process — responses were always prompt, helpful and reassuring, which made us feel completely confident about the trip even before we left.

Once we arrived in Africa, everything ran incredibly smoothly. Every transfer, lodge and activity had been carefully arranged, so we could simply relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about any of the logistics.

It turned out to be one of the most memorable trips of our lives, and we are truly grateful for the care and attention that went into planning it. We would not hesitate to use this company again for a future trip.

It's hard to know where to start! This was our first trip to Africa and we took our 13 year old granddaughter with us. We knew we wanted to go to the Okavango Delta in Botswana and we needed to go while school was out in the U.S. which is during the wintertime in Botswana. It was purely by chance that we came upon this website and it was the best thing that could have happened. We gave some broad requirements to our travel agent, Maxine Eustice, and she worked with us to put together an absolutely amazing trip. We stayed in three different camps in the Okavango, all operated by Ker and Downey. The three camps were Maxa, Okuti, and Shinde Footsteps. We stayed three nights at each of the camps and although we were wondering if three nights was long enough, we packed in a huge amount in those three days at each camp. Driving safaris, mokoro rides, barge and speed boat rides, walking safaris and helicopter rides. The accomodations were wonderful, the staff was beyond wonderful, the food choices were great, the weather was perfect and the amount of wildlife we saw was incredible. Visitors do need to know that, while wildlife is abundant, your safaris are not a version of National Geographic or Nature and there may be times when you may not see a lot of wildlife. It's helpful if you enjoy birdwatching though because there is always some unusual species of bird to see. But even when the animals are hidden, riding through flooded areas, driving down bumpy roads, looking for signs of lions and leopards and coming across a surprise jackal or hyena all add to the experience. Additionally, it's a hugely educational experience - the knowledge of the guides is outstanding. We learned so much about the various species, including termites, and their importance in the delta, as well as the various interactions of other species, that the trip was far more than just a sight-seeing trip.
I could fill pages with all of the highlights but nothing compares with being there. And I'm convinced that the trip would not have gone as well if we had not had Maxine and this company to work with. I've already recommended them to three of my friends.

The entire experience with Okavango Delta and Jacqueline was outstanding.

We contacted them only one month before our trip, and within just one week they had organized an incredible 10-day itinerary in the Okavango Delta, securing fantastic locations that perfectly matched what we were looking for.

The whole trip exceeded our expectations. Everything was flawlessly organized, from the transfers to the accommodations, making the journey completely stress-free.

We appreciated the personalized trip webpage they created for us. It contained every detail we needed before and during the trip, making planning and travel incredibly easy.

Jacqueline and her team were always available for video calls, allowing us to discuss and fine-tune every aspect of the itinerary together. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and deep knowledge of Botswana gave us complete confidence from the start.

We wholeheartedly recommend their services. Their expertise, attention to detail, and dedication made this an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely use them again for our next adventure.

I wanted to sincerely thank Jacqueline for the time, effort and care she put into preparing my safari itinerary for my 60th birthday.

I really appreciated her professionalism, prompt communication and willingness to answer all of my questions. Her dedication and her attention to detail is remarkable.

Thank you again Jacquelinefor all your assistance. I truly appreciate the time and effort you invested, and I will certainly keep your company in mind for future travels and happily recommend you to others.

Great support by Jacqueline and the Team im mmastebe camp.

Okavango Delta Safaris (ODS) is a way to organize my tailor made trip to Botswana out of different tour operators giving me more freedom with respect what I would be if I contacted just one tour operator. ODS has a staff in Maun that supervised my trip. They video call you for interview to set up your trip and help you wiyh suggestions. I had a wonderful trip thanks to their guidance.

Maxine was super supportive and full of current information about all the camps as we all know the Okavango Delta is dynamic and there is no point in advising a client when the agent visited the camp 3 years ago
On the last day of the safari already reaching out to Maxine to organise our 2027 one

Great support in our individual planning. Thank you very much for your support.

The two lodges and safaris that they booked for me were exactly what I asked for. The accommodations were outstanding.

Prompt, thorough, responsive to specific requests for activities. Very well arranged regarding transfers (road and air) and our lodge choices in Okavango. Easy to work with. Excellent recommendations for eating places in Vic Falls. Clearly well experienced and professional, making this one of our best, of many, African experiences. Recommend them very highly.

Okavango Delta Explorations handled our group’s whole trip professionally and thoughtfully. We stayed in marvelous locations and ate in charming restaurants. All of the flight logistics worked seamlessly. A truly friendly and caring company, especially the owner Louise FitzGerald.

We couldn’t be more happy with the excellent performance of Okavango Delta Explorations. This is our third trip with them, and each time Louise has been amazing, ensuring our experience is top notch. We look forward to future trips knowing that Louise will be organising everything beautifully!
