Ohh Deer Arvostelua 

Had to return one order and edit another so needed to contact customer service. Harry and Heather were so helpful and got back to me really quickly (despite 2 bank holiday weekends!)

Amazing customer service and beautiful products!

I ordered birthday cards on the 28th April, I have just called Ohh Deer to be told they will be dispatched on the 17th May! Absolutely ridiculous time to wait for an order, the company is obviously doing well if they can happily lose a £50+ sale. My refund will be with me 3-5 working days, shame the orders aren’t received as quick!

I bought 40 lucky bags, 20 pink, 20 orange, just shy of £50.

90% of those 40 bags had identical items inside.

As someone else mentioned the response from ohh deer was “Sadly, although we did try out best to ensure that as many lucky dips as possible were different the sheer number ordered meant that this proved more difficult than we originally anticipated. I can assure you we have taken this feedback on board and will be coming up with a better method for future sales.

This is in no way an excuse, but we didn't anticipate anyone to order as many as 40 😅.”

So it’s my fault for ordering 40? Excuse me?

No offer of exchanges or part refunds, just a ‘oh well what a shame’ sort of attitude. Won’t be ordering again, as this isn’t the first time they have done blind bags and people have complained. They didn’t learn then and they haven’t learned now, so why should I trust them with my money again?

A real shame as I really love the products, but really have no use for a lifetime supply of duplicate items.

Example of what duplicates I got out of 40 bags;
x9 ‘Have a Whale of a Time’ cards (all same card design)
x11 ‘Happy Birthday’ cards (all same card design)
x2 Gemma Correll Notepads (both same design)
x9 Sticky note tabs (all same design)
x7 Pink pouches with 12 pencils in each (all same pencil sets in each pouch) that’s 84 pencils!
x2 orange pouches with paperclips in them
x3 red pouches with black bulldog clips in them
x3 keyrings (all same crab design)
x3 pin badges (all of the moon same design)
x9 Retractable pens (all same purple design)
x12 purple 0.5 size gel pens (all same design)
x13 green 0.5 size gel pens (all same design)
x6 orange 0.5 size gel pens (all same design)
x2 blue putty rubbers (same colour)
x3 erasers (1 yellow/2 blue)
x2 yellow bulldog clips

And the none duplicates?
A brass ruler
a brass pair of scissors
a brown bulldog clip
a dot grid notebook
a green pouch with colour pencils (different design to pink but similar colours)

What a poor variety.

I bought 6 lucky dip bags. 3 were 1 item ones and 3 were 4 items ones. I opened the ones containing 1 item first and, in all 3 of them, I got the exact same pack of highlighters. Then I opened the 4 item ones and, you guessed it, they were all absolutely identical too apart from one that contained an eraser. Wouldn’t mind but I bought them for a gift for my son for his birthday. He doesn’t need 3 rulers, 3 post cards, 3 sheets of stickers etc that are all EXACTLY the same!
The website states they will try their best to send different items if multiple bags were bought. They clearly didn’t try at all!
I contacted customer services and their response was:
“I'm really very sorry you did not receive an array of products in the lucky dip bags, you truly were very unlucky.

I hope the products will still prove useful despite the repetition”

What a useless response! I replied telling them this and the next reply I got was telling me that they will take my comments on board and try to make sure it doesn’t happen again in future. That doesn’t really help me. No offer of exchange, refund, nothing.

Ive never used Oh Deer before, but one of their tshirts caught my eye, so I ordered one for myself and one for my daughter. The fabric is very soft, but also PAPER thin - not quite what I was expecting for the price! I also ordered some lucky bags. 2 of these were identical (I get it - luck of the draw) but I now have 3 green pens and 2 birthday cards, which were nice enough but neither had envelopes supplied.

I love this shop with all of the pretty cards and the wonderful stationary. It's just the best! Also, they have fast delivery and good customer services.

I have reviewed this site before, but I do have another review to add. I've ordered from the site multiple times - it's my go-to for mothers day, father's day, birthdays, Christmas, you name it, and barring one exception it's been an incredibly painless process and I never have any issues. The only time I've ever had to worry about my order's arrival has been the end of November to early December with the Royal Mail strikes occurring, and I found contacting Ohh Deer for help on this matter to be extremely easy. Response was quick and they were very helpful with sorting out my order and offering solutions. I remain extremely pleased with this site, and it continues to be the first I think of for gift giving and holiday seasons.

Just came here to reiterate that OhhDeer has been one of my favourite companies since my first year of uni about 8 years ago. This website has consistently had the cutest little gifts as well as having one of the kindest customer services out there - can only recommend! <3

I bought a mystery pack of cards just so I have some in the house for when I forget. Genuinely was really impressed, I'll use them all, cards for birthdays, new home, congratulations, sympathy. The majority were blank message cards which can be used for so many occasions. It's worth the gamble if you have a good sense of humour. Love this company highly recommend

I really love their products, especially their greeting cards. Reasonably priced, unique and pretty.

Poorly organised site, with lack of clarity in what is artful and what is ohdeer, and having separate logins but only one (ohdeer) that you ultimately buy from makes it confusing and very disability unfriendly. Not at all good for customers who have impairments

I ordered a notebook of good quality. And the customer service was very friendly and helpful when I had shipping issues :))

all that received gifts or cards from ohh deer where quite pleased. the smiles on their faces told all.
