Ohh Deer Arvostelua 

Ordered 9 cards for 3 upcoming birthdays (and then future birthdays), the first of which was just over a week from order, the other 2 were 9 days away.

Cards arrived 11 days after ordering missing all 3 birthdays, all crammed into a bubble wrap envelope (unlike other card suppliers who sent theirs in a cardboard box to prevent bending). The order took 8 days to process before being shipped, which then took 3 days.

Cards were 3 for 2 however after buying 9, I only got 2 free (not 3) regardless of combination chosen. Furthermore, the cards were really noticeably quite small by comparison to ‘standard’/usual card sizes so for the price I wasn’t that impressed…1 card had “mini” clearly written in the title on the packaging but looking at the website there was no mention of mini. It was 7cm x 7cm for £3.50.

Overall my experience was quite disappointing compared to other card websites or a card shop. Service needs improvement - it shouldn’t take 8 days to dispatch an in-stock order. Also be mindful of cost vs. smaller size of the cards.

I bought a 2024 planner made by Ohh deer for waterstones and foyles. Turns out the pages on the last week of almost every month is missing in the planner and I didn't realised until I got to Feburary in the planner because that was the first month where the pages were missing!

Since they replied to my review, I sent an email to the address they provided. Its been 2 weeks and had no reply.

Ohh Deer were quick to respond to my email explaining my next day delivery service arrived some days after. I was refunded the charge with a courteous email apology which was appreciated. That is top customer service. Well done Ohh Deer.

Paid for express delivery (1-3 days) but they took 8 days to deliver, so had to buy cards from elsewhere.

I emailed to complain but they wouldn't even offer to refund the delivery and instead gave 15% off my next shop with them, which I won't get to use as I won't be ordering from them again.

In response they also say they had a message at checkout advising of delays but why let me pay for express if they can't acheive it? Its just blatantly taking peoples money.

I wouldn't recommend using the website.

Sent only one part of my Order over 4 days late despite me paying for express delivery. Absolutely terrible company.

I placed an order on the 11th September, which wasn’t dispatched until the 18th September and arrived on the 22nd September.

The website states 2-4 business days for standard delivery (charged at £2.95) and processing time for orders is stated as 1-5 working days. However the order confirmation email I received stated processing time as 5-10 days. It seems it is subject to change during sale periods but the extended timeframes aren’t clear until you’ve placed your order. Not ideal if you need your cards within a few days.

The timeframes would put me off ordering in the future as waiting nearly two weeks for some birthday cards to arrive seems a really long time and requires a lot of organisation.

Similar experience to Sarah D below, but at least I hadn't paid for express delivery. All this from a company which makes a deal about their ethical credentials - but apparently not for customers, you know, the people keeping them in business. This was my first time, it won't happen again. I would suggest not using them at all, not just if you want items in a hurry. Let's face it, anyone can commission artists and sell their work online, it only becomes a business when others buy the products; successful businesses keep customers happy, so they return and recommend. They are not doing us a favour by existing. Back to Etsy for me.

I placed an order as part of their sale. Having shopped with them before I know that the products are usually good value for money. I was very disappointed however that having paid for express delivery it took 7 working days before the order was dispatched….. there was no mention of this delay when ordering. Be warned that express delivery only refers to the time after it has left their depot. If you want your items quickly don’t bother. I also find it very enlightening that the company has only responded to positive reviews.
Despite having been a customer of Ohh Deer and their sister company Artful for a couple of years I very much doubt that I will be using them again or renewing my subscription. I do not feel like a ‘ valued’ customer.

Ordered a card in what I thought was plenty of time for my daughter's birthday. Even paid extra for "Express Delivery."
Ordered on the 18th for delivery to me by 22nd so that I could post for her birthday on 25th.
By the 24th when it had not arrived and I had not even had an email to say it had been dispatched I called customer services. Sweet lady in customer services refunded my money (grateful even if it will take 3 days!). She said "Oh sorry we're running on our summer schedule at the moment because we are busy. We are dispatching orders from the 16th today" 😲 RIDICULOUS!!!! If you know you're going to be busy in the summer warn customers to expect delays and order early or hire more staff!!
Whilst I was waiting for that non existent dispatch email I did however receive numerous unsolicited marketing emails, one of which ironically encouraged me to use Ohh Deer in future so as never to incur that awkward moment of missing someone's special day. Needless to say I have unsubscribed.

Even though I applied the 50% discount code it’s still not worth the money, and it’s definitely not worth full price. I received the July 2023 box. 6 colours pencils when I could get a pack of 12 crayola for £2 (they’re the same quality as crayola) and the note book was so plain just yellow with writing on the front, I can get a pack of 4 nicely decorated A5 books at wilko for £4 (again feels like same quality). For the price I paid I would expect art (which clearly took time and thought) all over the cover. I don’t know when I would use this book, the art work is a bit childish (I wouldn’t want to bring it to college) and the drawings inside to colour feels like a last minute attempt to add more art into it. No offence to the artist (I followed them on instagram as they do great art) they didn’t choose the price, this box just can’t be valued the same as some of the others. It’s not my style, I know that some people like this style but for me it reminds me to Tracy beaker art kits I had as a kid, especially the stickers a sticky notes. Some of your past boxes look much better, with detailed art and unique ideas/things I can’t find in my local Poundland in the kids section. I think I was just unlucky that this was my first box, it would be better it this was apart of a kids stationary box or another subscription where it is cheaper or one for more cartoon art work. Not to mention the £3 for delivery.

I got a trial Papergang box I just had to pay postage for. It took more than 2 weeks to arrive. I may well have misunderstood... it looks like they maybe send all the boxes out at the same time every month... but when I order something, I expect it to arrive straightaway really and it put me off a bit.
They also send daily emails. Of course, you can just unsubscribe from these if you want to, but it seems a bit much.
When the box finally arrived, I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. I thought it came in a nice box but the box is the postage box so you can't really do anything with it afterwards. Inside were two cards, a sheet of wrapping paper, a pen and a small tape. These things were all really very basic... the pen especially was just a cheap plastic pen. The only other item in the box was a planner. I did think this was quite nice and something I would choose to buy myself. But I see from the other reviews that you get planners all the time and, if this was the case, the novelty would surely soon wear off.
For me, when I'm at home, I spend a lot of time at my desk surrounded by post-its, lists and things like that. I like to have nice stationery around me... it really adds to the moment, especially if you're researching something or planning something nice. So I could really see how I would enjoy something like this. But ultimately, it just didn't do it for me really.
Update: I was asked to move my review to papergang.com but I purchased the box on ohhdeer.com, received emails from ohhdeer.com, etc.... I hadn't even been on papergang.com. I've just looked at it now and it says it's moving to ohhdeer.com anyway.
Update: It's now 1 year later and I'm being asked to provide my contact details and order number or my review will be taken down. What are they trying to do?

This company or rather Papergang send out a monthly box including postage it’s around £16.
This month I received a notebook with thin pages, a cheap pen, roll of washi tape and 2 birthday cards.
I could have our purchased at BM or other such £1 shops for £5
This company is for people who have too much money to spend. Now don’t get me wrong I did research them on you tuber followers and other reviewers. So initially I thought they would be good addition to my craft stash. Please don’t waste your money

Oh dear, Ohh Deer, what an appalling experience with this company! First time ordering online, confirmed 25/04. Told dispatched on 02/05. Then told my order would be with me on 16/05.On 24/05 told order had been misplaced. Told the bundle I ordered had now been discounted. Great I thought, so I asked for my order to be resent and a refund for the difference. Next email says that was a typo and should have read discontinued! Two more emails and my refund arrived on 30/05, 5 weeks after they confirmed my order. Ohh Deer over promised and greatly underdelivered and need to check emails before sending. Poor service, very disappointing.

I've ordered from here a few times and I've loved everything. Cute, good quality items.

I have ordered from Ohh Deer several times and always been impressed with the quality of the items and quick delivery time. The most recent time was no different. I also decided to return some items. Due to how busy the warehouse is I hadn't heard anything for a while after I knew my delivery had been received. I emailed the team to check what was happening. Heather in customer service got back to me pretty quickly. She was really helpful and dealt with my query very quickly and efficiently.
Will definitely use them again.

I ordered on 3rd May and paid extra for Express shipping as I needed it quickly for a birthday gift. I contacted customer care on 5th May to ask if my order was being dispatched, and on 10th May I got a response letting me know due to their sale being popular they were struggling to fulfil orders. They said my order would be dispatched W/C 29th May!! I understand a few days delay if you have a busy period, but if having a sale means customers have to wait 4 weeks for the item to be dispatched then you've got a real problem, and customers will not return. You should also take away the option to pay extra for faster delivery, as this becomes irrelevant if dispatch time is 4 weeks... lost for words.

Placed order nearly 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't been delivered. Was not told at the point of ordering that there were any delays. At the maximum possible delivery time and taking bank holidays into account it should have arrived last week. It is now not going to arrive in time for when I needed it and I won't be able to return it as it seems to be lost in the ether. It has apparently been dispatched and I have a tracking number, but there's no tracking information available. Incredibly disappointed by the awfully slow pace at which this company now works.

I had really fantastic customer service from Heather, who went above and beyond for me. Highly recommend Ohh Deer and will be buying from them again! Thank you.

Ordered from Ohh Deer almost a month ago - no warning that delivery would take so long on the website. Emailed multiple times and they finally said that they had pushed my order forward which I was very grateful for! I then received an email saying my item had been dispatched… it hasn’t. They lied about dispatching my item - the tracking number hasn’t worked for 5 days, and then I receive an email today saying that my order won’t be shipped until the 18th! I’ve never dealt with such bad service. Not once have they offered a refund on postage AT LEAST.
That’s a whole month…

The site does warn that delivery times are increased during sale periods, but it wasn't until after I'd ordered that I found out this would be 10 working days before dispatch. With the bank holidays recently, it's now been over two weeks and my order still hasn't been dispatched. Within that period of time, I've had 11 promotional emails from Ohh Deer which seems really excessive - and frustrating as one of them was offering a free gift but it didn't arrive until the day after I'd placed the order. Also I keep thinking my order has finally been dispatched and yet it hasn't. Please dial back the promo emails!
