We are really sorry to hear that customs are delaying the shipment. Fedex handles all our customs clearance and normally this is a smooth procedure without any hiccups. All taxes, duties and customs clearance is naturally covered by us. We have more than 300 different watches available on our website. Some of the watches are sent from our stock at our offices in Hong Kong and some are sent from our European stock, depending on availability. Depending on which country you are ordering from, some watches may also be sent from our local distributors or offices, such as is the case in for example USA, Australia, Pakistan, India and South Africa.
Please if you can send a mail to info@obaku.com with your order reference number then we can help look into the matter with Fedex and customs.
We are truly sorry to hear about this delay and we will do anything we can to help get this watch to your wife as soon as possible.

Szanowni Państwo kupiłam zegarek Obaku w małym sklepie jubilerskim w Wieliczce. Uwielbiam zegarki i trochę się na nich znam. Jestem zachwycona eleganckim stylem i prostą formą Państwa zegarków. Po czterech latach moje cudo nadal wygląda jak prosto ze sklepu, jestem bardzo zadowolona i gorąco polecam markę każdemu kto ceni sobie elegancję i jakość wykonania. Great online watch brand.
I loved the selection and style of the watches. I hope my wife likes the one I chose for her. The ordering process was straightforward and the watch arrived quickly.
The only thing that would make the experience better would be sending a commercial invoice with the order confirmation. When my watch arrived, local customs required an invoice which I had to request by email, delaying the process by a few days.
Otherwise, great experience and I hope to buy more watches in the future.

We are sorry to hear that the customs asked for an invoice from you. Normally Fedex handles all customs clearance directly without needing to involve the recipient. Based on your comments, we will from now on include an extra customs invoice with the shipment.
poor packaging
I have received the product about 4 days after the estimated time. The watch itself was good however, the packaging was poor. It came in an A4 paper box with no bubble wrap or anything and the watch box was teared due to pressure. I was disappointed with the product as a whole as i have purchased this item as a present.

We are really sorry to hear about this. We have never heard about the box being damaged upon arrival before. We pack the watch inside our Obaku giftbox and put that box inside a sturdy Fedex packaging box. Now it may be too late, but in the future, if you receive a box damaged upon arrival, it would be good to report this immediately to the Fedex delivery person, as then the Fedex insurance may be able to cover any defects. However, based on your report, as an extra measure of protection, we will be adding bubble wrap around the Obaku giftbox inside the Fedex box for any future shipments.

Especially our slim-line features sapphire-crystal watches that are just 4,8mm slim and practically melt together with your wrist. You are absolutely right, that currently we are not showing the slimness of the watch in the features list on our website. Although I didn't get my watch immeditely, I got a notification e-mail where I could choose another watch or money refund. Since I wanted exactly the watch I ordered, it wasn't a problem to wait. Now I got an e-mail that my order is on it's way. Athogether it leaved a good impression, and can't wait to get my new watch!

Absolutely worth the wait
The ordering process was smootheless and Obaku responed quickly upon a question I had.
I was a bit suprised that the watch was shipped from Hongkong and unforteunately the delivery was delayed by the costumes inspection, as they asked me for proof of payment - which I never experienced before.
But the watch finally arrived and I am very satisfied with function and design - was completely worth the wait.

Cercavo un orologio elegante ed originale
Cercavo un orologio non molto costoso, ma nel contempo originale e un po' minimalista. Un requisito tecnico indispensabile era anche un "waterproof" di almeno 5 ATM. Ho trovato tutto questo ed anche di più nel modello Dato-Steel del brand Obaku, che prima non conoscevo.
L'orologio è originale nell'estetica e nella struttura, è luminoso col suo fondo bianco e perfettamente leggibile, è elegante nella sua essenzialità e completo nella sua funzionalità, è robusto senza però affaticare il polso ed il cinturino è molto bello.
Lo porto da oltre 2 settimane e ne sono molto soddisfatto.
