Night & Day Emergency Dentist Arvostelua 

I had infected gum tissue which was getting worse and had need of emergency treatment. Being a Sunday this is not always easy to get. Booking online was very easy to do. The premises (Preston) are clean, bright and calm. Although the dentist was 20 minutes late this is understandable as each patient has different requirements. The dentist was friendly, calm and very knowledgeable. He took time to do a very thorough examination and took an X-ray. Then asked lots of questions and explained what he felt the issue was and also further treatment if needed. He even recommended an specialist near where I lived. I cannot recommend this company enough.

I had a really positive experience here. I managed to get a same-day appointment for severe wisdom tooth pain, which was such a relief. Ella, the nurse, was incredibly kind and instantly put me at ease, and Dr Hamza was excellent – very knowledgeable and professional, explaining everything clearly and making the whole process much less daunting. I felt I was in very safe hands with them both. Would highly recommend!

Please do not use. They take advantage of those vulnerable and in pain. Charge 700% more than any other practice, yet provide completely substandard service.
Absolutely disgraceful unprofessional behaviour and conversations between dentist and staff at Penwortham. I will be reporting to the appropriate body and encourage the other user here with similar experience to do the same.

Absolutely fuming. Was told it was £50. Travelled over half an hour got there and had to wait another 30 mins to be seen. Had two xrays to be told I would need 3 teeth out and a deep clean all for £1200.. obviously not got that . I paid
the £50 when I got there and then had to pay £75 for a prescription and then to go get the prescription it was another £10 . It seems very much that they are not interested in how you feel and literally just want money money money.

I used day and night dentist on west gate road in Newcastle. I had an abscess and had been in a lot of pain for two days and it was a weekend. So I was desperate got an appointment for half 12 on Sunday. The dentist and dental nurse were lovely, options and payments discussed before treatment. Very expensive more than I could afford really but when you are in so much pain what are you supposed to do🤷 tooth was quickly removed I had a lot of swelling and still in pain but that was to be expected. I got a follow up message on WhatsApp the next day to see how I was. However on Wednesday I noticed a sharp piece of tooth was left in the gum so was worried if the gum would still heal ok with this bit of tooth left in. So I messaged on WhatsApp just asking exactly that just for some advice and reassurance. The message was read but as yet no answer, I paid nearly 500 pound to have that tooth out and was very grateful but to be left with a piece of sharp tooth left in the gum and no answer to a genuine concern is not great aftercare

they got back to me and offered a follow up appointment at no extra cost so very happy

The service I received was exemplary I couldn’t think of anything they could have done to make the experience any better. Thank you for all your help I really appreciate you so much.

Even with pre-booked appointments, I have repeatedly waited around two to three hours. No respect for patient's time .

Amazing service , had such bad pain for 3 days couldn’t take it any more .
Looked online for emergency dentist as I’m not registered with one and haven’t been to the dentist for over 10 year ! After a bad experience at another dentist .
This place and Abid and meg were absolutely amazing and thoughtful of my anxiousness .
Abid advised after ex ray an extraction which I was terrified of but he was just brilliant .
Anyone like me anxious and in pan don’t look anywhere else , come here .
I booked my appointment same day and an evening app which suited my working day .
We travelled an hour to get here but it was so worth it . Spotless place extremely friendly too .
Within 30 min I had my examination and a brilliant explanation of my options .
Also Abid gave me lots of advice and I will be taking that up .
Extraction quick and he was reassuring while doing it with me being anxious .
Over the moon and Abid has finally cured my fear of dentists .

Had a route canal and stain removal in the last 3 months. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

I had a broken tooth accompanied by severe pain and bleeding. Dr. Raza and Dr. Hamza handled my case with exceptional precision and care, ensuring that the entire treatment process was pain-free — something I truly appreciated. After the procedure, I experienced no pain at all, and they have continued to follow up diligently as we move toward the final stage of treatment and crown placement. I feel it was absolutely worth it, and I have no regrets about choosing this clinic for my treatment.

This is my second visit to Night & Day Emergency Dentist, and even though it’s not local to me, I wouldn’t go anywhere else so that’s how much I trust them!
This time I saw Abuzar, who was fantastic and he quickly diagnosed the issue, treated it efficiently, and sent me home completely pain-free. The whole team were friendly, professional, and reassuring. Outstanding service when you need it most! Although it’s not a cheap option I do highly recommend them.

nearly died!!!! had my wisdom tooth removed & also another tooth next to it they charged me £1,430! whilst we was in there the receptionist was getting really close to the dentist proper flirting whilst i was having my tooth out, oh the man had a wife baring in mind i hope his wife sees this as he said the receptionist was fitter than her… anyway 3 days after extraction i ended up in a&e couldnt breathe couldnt swallow! was put on IV antibiotics was in hospital for 4 days on fluids & IV antibiotics, oh also im 36 weeks pregnant & for them to do this is absolutely vile! DO NOT SERIOUSLY GO TO THIS PLACE ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL CLEARLY THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING!, i rang penwortham dental they told me that these “dentists” rent out their building at night time, absolutely disgusting, Hope you see this seen as you havent seen my complaint i am taking you to court & i will take you for every penny youve got!

Simple to book appointment online. Was seen within an hour. Reception was friendly and welcoming and environment was clean. Dentist Abz was professional and understanding and took his time. Nurse Tina was kind and professional and put me at ease. Would definitely use again if required and recommend to others.

What an amazing experiance, my wife went in she was in absolute pain. The staff were really friendly and helpfull. Dr Ali is an absolute legend and in 30 mins my wife was sorted! Highly reccomended!

My visit to this dental practice on Westgate Road, Newcastle, was nothing short of traumatic. I arrived with an infected tooth which needed emergency extraction. I was subjected to the most horrifically painful series of injections which numbed absolutely nothing before the tooth was removed whilst I was in the most excruciating pain, shaking and crying. The staff who treated me tried to reassure me but did not stop and I was too overwhelmed and confused to even be able to communicate other than being able to gesture my agony. I signed a consent form on my way out rather than being made fully aware of what this procedure would entail. I have had wisdom teeth removed under local anaesthetic, fillings and root canal work with other dentists before and would never have anticipated having to experience such a psychologically damaging procedure, let alone be charged a significant amount more than most dentists for the privilege.

I am writing to complain about my emergency consultation with the working dentist at Night and Day Emergency dentist (204 infirmary Road) which occurred at 1pm on Saturday, 26/7/25.

During this consultation, I was given an Xray which revealed that I had a broken tooth which had killed the associated nerve, leading to an ongoing infection causing pain, and also causing breakage on another tooth that required filling. I was told I could either have a tooth extraction or root canal treatment for £395, with an additional £195 for the filling, then was immediately anaesthetised in anticipation of this.

I felt I had little space, awareness, time or breath to make a decision. I have only been anaesthetised once in my life a long time ago, so am not familiar with this procedure. I was not made aware of how this would feel or affect my face. I feel I was pushed to proceed with the proposed operation and was not given enough time or information to make an informed decision. I felt overwhelmed and confused having just been anaesthesised, leading to me requesting time to think and speak to someone else about the proposed price. Unfortunately by then it was too late and the local anaesthetic had kicked in for me, prompting me to want to reluctantly go ahead with the proposed operation.

When I called my dad to get a second opinion, he made me aware of much cheaper alternatives and expressed concerns at me having been anaesthetised prior to giving any formal proper consent. This also did not sit right with me, so I went back to the dentists room as we agreed in attempt to discuss this further. When I did this, I found another patient being treated in the room they told me to go back to. This was even more confusing and unprofessional. I decided following this, to refuse the operation and walk out, which I informed the admin staff member I was doing.

I will not be returning to this service and hope your dentists can take the time to explain what they are doing to patients and the implications of this rather than assuming consent in order to maximise profit. I am now left from this experience feeling shaken, extremely confused, slightly conned and with half a numb and deformed face for no reason for the next 3 hours. Shocking patient care sort it out please.

What a fantastic experience. As someone with a fear of dentists, the staff there put me at ease straight away and were so friendly. I went in with severe toothache after a different dentist had put in a temporary filling and within 20 minutes had found the problem and solved it. Every step of the way they were explaining clearly what they were doing and I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

HAD THE WORST NIGHT OF PAIN , EXPOSED NERVE AND CRACKED TOOTH, MY DENTIST SAID TWO WEEKS FOR APPOINTMENT.NOT GOOD ENOUGH, RANG NIGHT AND DAY IN NEWCASTLE, THE BEST DENTIST EVER, SAW ME WITHIN TWO HOURS, VERY CLEAN PREMISES, SUPER STAFF, DR KARRAR WAS BRILLIANT, YES , VERY EXPENSIVE, BUT ALL COSTS WERE TALKED ABOUT BEFORE TREATMENT, HE SHOWED ME THE XRAYS AND PERFECTLY EXPLAINED TWO POSSIBLE COURSES OF ACTION, IN LAYMAN'S TERMS. I OPTED FOR PULLING THE TOOTH AND NOT A ROOT CANAL, HE DID NOT TRY TO SELL THE ROOT CANAL TREATMENT WHICH WAS MORE THAN DOUBLE THE COST. HONESTLY, WORTH EVERY PENNY, JACK AND ADAM WERE BOTH GREAT TOO... 10/10. TONY FROM GATESHEAD

I have just got back from this dentist I had broken my tooth complety off was actually so worried this wasn't going to be able to sort at a dentist Saturday night at 7.30 pm rang them appointment at 8pm lovely clean reception and the man on reception was so lovely seen the dentist and nurse Marwa and Naima confirmed it needed to be removed thankfully they could do it all numbed up didn't feel a thing even when the roof of the mouth was done tooth gone very quickly and back home just over a hour later I admit using an unknown dentist was very scary for me but both girls were incredible kind compassionate professional and excellent service all around would highly reccomend

Was seen too within 5 minutes of coming in, dentists are extremely friendly and explained all options available. He went into detail about the procedure and was provided treatment straight away. 10/10 experience, highly recommend
