Booking is easy. Once you have our money, you actively try less & less. Wouldn't necessarily recommend Nexus Tours to anyone.

We were picked up on time arriving and departure. The driver’s were very nice

No one showed up at the appropriate time and place in the Westin hotel on Tuesday. Asked the front desk and no one knew anything about any meeting. Never saw anyone all week that came close to matching your description. Cheers, Randy and Lori

Overall great experience. Our transport showed up on time to bring us to the resort and return to the airport.

For two days before our date of departure, I received notifications/ confirmation my shuttle transfer from hotel to airport pick-up time was 11:55am. So we prepared on the day of departure and was at the hotel lobby by 11:00am. It was when I was told by the bellhop that the shuttle had already left 'coz we were a no show. That's when I only came to know on my nexus app the pick-up time changed to 10:55am. A last minute change. I can't help but think if this is nexus way to get you to pay for a special shuttle from them instead.
Anyways, although this shuttle was part of westjet vacation package, I demand a refund of our taxi fare i paid to the airport.

My wife and really enjoyed our day when we booked a day to go to the water falls with Nexus Tours. Our driver was very friendly, nice and was very informative. I would highly recommend Nexus Tours to others.

The rooms advertised was NOT offered at this hotel. The access to sister hotel buffet was not included as it was when we booked. No one advised us of this. We had travel agent, and ourselves contact the hotel directly several times- as well as Royalton customer service to request adjoining rooms. Once we arrived we learned this hotel does not even have adjoining rooms. Travel agent did nothing to help us rectify this. Hotel did nothing but force us to sign documents saying we wouldnt complain about having to downgrade rooms in order to even be side by side (still not adjoining and first night did absolutely nothing). Could have stayed at sister hotel in same room for cheaper. Family vacation forced to stay in separate rooms due to this false advertising.

We had a wonderful guide who explained everything we saw and answered any questions we had.

We had a blast on the Saona beach excursion on the catamaran! Johnny was an awesome guide lunch provided on the island was delicious! Was a beautiful place to visit! The booking agent at our resort was friendly and helpful on making our decision so happy my daughter and I did!

I thought the trip to Santa Island was excellent.. my son enjoyed as well.. however I've been on other catamaran and had a better experience for less money.. other trips you were on the catamaran both to destination Island and back.. there was snorkeling.. but for 300 cdn we got only a small meal and a ride on a much smaller catamaran coming back.. only rum.. with coke or sprite.. hardly any entertainment value unless supplied by other passengers.. then the photographers went from 15,000 pesos for picks to eventually 4750 pesos.. for alot of duplicates.. we agreed on 70usd no taxes.. but when I looked at my visa bill they charged 79usd.. photographers were on the supplied transport to Island courtesy of the tour provider.. i usually don't complain but I felt a bit put out by the whole experience.. won't use nexustours again is all.. problem solved.. plus side was the driver of van taking us to excursion very pleasant and patient.

Our driver was prompt and courteous. He made sure we were comfortable and had a great drive to and from the hotel. We enjoyed having a private car vs. a shared ride.

Always confusing and relatively slow at airport upon arrival. Easy to find with orange shirts and hats, but slow to put people into groups and get them on their way. Third time using you and always the same (about 1 hour wait after long flight) One year we were totally forgotten!
Call in hotel room to insist on registering for return transfer. First time went down to Quetzal lobby and no one at Nexus Desk. Second time, someone was there and told me to return 2 days before departure. Rather annoying.

No tuvimos una buena experiencia, hicimos tres traslados, el de llegada fue el único bueno, el de la vuelta al aeropuerto, además de llegar mucho más tarde, no nos gustó como conducía el vehículo el que nos llevó y el de el traslado de un hotel a otro, nunca vino y tuvimos que hablar con nuestra agente de viajes, que se contactó y nos terminaron mandando el traslado como dos horas después, con lo cual perdimos ese día casi completo. Así que no fue una buena experiencia 👎
