At the end of a nearly three month long saga, I FINALLY got refunded for my return. I will spare everyone the details but let’s just say that the customer service leaves something to be desired. The “processing” of a return does not take two months. It just doesn’t. I’ve worked in small independent retail shops handling large volumes and we never took that long to do ANYTHING, much less refund a returned item in perfect condition with its receipt, original packaging and tags. I was appalled and will never order from Need Supply again.

Same issue as most everybody. I ordered items that were defective. Was told I would get a refund and have not received it. Haven't gotten a response in 12 days. I called and the person I talked to was flippant. She said she would resolve it and I have yet to have a response - it's been a week.

I returned five items but they just refunded me four of them. I called twice and wrote two emails. Nothing has been changed.

What a bad experience. So I ordered my products a week ago, immediately got charged, then never got my shipping confirmation. In the email that I received, it said my items would be shipped in 1 business day, which would have been the next day. Then, after doing so I contacted them 5 days later, and never got a response. However, this morning, they cancelled one of my items, said it was out of stock, then shipped my other item. I called them, and they weren't in the least bit helpful or courteous. It's too bad because they are a referral from a major affiliate who I am going to reach out to and share my terrible experience with. Honesty is the best policy, and I'm just telling you my experience.

Perfect service!
I am a Danish costumer who was a little concerned about ordering from Need Supply after reading all of the bad comments, but it has simply been a perfect process. The jacket I was looking for was only in stock in my size on this website, so I took the change and ordered it. The costumer service was very helpful, and they send the parcel the day after ordering. My parcel arrived a week after with the right items in it.
I can really recommend using Need Supply - also if you are an international costumer!

I've been ordering from Need Supply since 2007 and as they've grown as on online retailer, their shipping/customer service is not equipped to handled their volume. I've ordered from them many times and it sometimes has taken up to a week for my items to ship. This is unacceptable when other retailers ship the same or next day. I've literally waited a week after placing an order and eventually canceled the order because I didn't want to wait any longer. Additionally, I placed an order a week ago and my card was charged, only to find out A WEEK later that they were out of the item I ordered. It's sale season and I could have looked elsewhere had I known this. Completely unacceptable. Lastly, their return system is totally out of whack. I received emails about them not receiving my return yet and my online account was not updated, but apparently my return was received/refunded without me realizing it. Their customer service reps are good about getting back to you, but they almost make you feel like it's your fault that their system is screwed up. No apologies, nothing. As other reviewers have mentioned, their items are not unique - you can find them elsewhere and that's exactly what I will do.

Purchased here for the first time and my online purchase was sent to the wrong address. The customer service was completely unhelpful and refused to acknowledge this was a company error. Will never shop here again and discourage others from doing so.

Recently revised their return policy to 14 days.
In order to "get in line with other retailers".

With the number of 1 star reviews showing them shipping the wrong product and more, you think they'd show some leniency on the revised policy.

Always get a laugh when stores would rather have a single $100 sale, than
a customer for life spending $1,000's over years.

The products they stock are NOT unique--- 100 other online retailers with far better policies and customer service to get this stuff from.

Shame, because their site is clean-- but I'll just use it to browse, and then buy elsewhere.

BEWARE FALSE ADVERTISING!! Sends out items that doesn’t match with website! Does nothing at all to compensate to retain customer. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!!

Ordered a sweatshirt about 2 months ago never received anything , but money was taken , tried to contact seller but no response days later terrible

I received what I have ordered. Great experience. I would love to buy again from them.

I have yet to receive and order I placed. Emailing and messaging the company but not getting a response is very misleading. Don't buy from this company.

I wanted to like the store because they carry some great stuff but unfortunately the customer service and warehouse management is lacking. I placed an order for a sweater in size small and days later I received a message that they messed up and don't have the item in stock. No apology or future discount code was given other than to say they didn't have it despite the "system" showed they should have had it. There was no attempt or interest in gaining a loyal customer of their store.

Totally disappointing experience, not only were my funds helps up, I didn't get the item, and missed other sales from other sites in that time. Wish I could have had a better customer experience. Other customers have similar experiences on Yelp- Beware!

No hesitation, 5 stars. Need Supply has a wonderful selection of great clothes that I can't find anywhere else. The layout of the site is user friendly and their customer service team is very prompt. This is why I always go back.

Was referred by a friend and have had a great experience so far. Every easy to navigate website and everything is obviously of the highest quality.

Need Supply Co.'s brick and mortar store is undisputedly one of the best in the country. The store's staff and management crush any pretentious expectations one may have upon entering the meticulously merchandised store with excellent customer service and tasteful product selection. The price points may seem high for the average consumer, but the quality of the product matches the tag and their assortment is wide enough for anyone to find something they can add as a core piece in their closet.

Needsupply.com's inventory is even wider and deeper, but still expect the same level of service and support as you would in the store.

Central Virginia is pretty lucky to have such a unique company to call their own! We don't have any independent stores close to it in Philly or back home in DC. Keep it up, Need.

Love Need Supply - been shopping there for years. Great customer service in store and online. I know when I walk into the store, I'm always going to find something I love! The online store is super user friendly as well. Love being able to shop and read up on new cool things at the same time.
