Nectr’s installers damaged my roof during what was supposed to be a $17,000 solar installation. An independent builder’s report clearly identified a roof leak and excessive damage to the roof sheets.

I gave Nectr ample opportunity to inspect and rectify the damage and supplied the builder’s report, photographs and a warranty claim. Despite their workmanship guarantees and warranty, they denied responsibility and refused to resolve the matter.

The damage ultimately cost me approximately $32,000 to have the roof properly repaired. In my experience, the installation was rushed, careless and poorly handled, and the warranty provided no meaningful protection when things went wrong.

I would not recommend Nectr based on my experience.

Im not much of a writer but I would like to express that My dealings with this company have ALWAYS been pleasant,helpful and extremely efficient-
I have had various different issues (mostly due to late payments on my behalf) and just trying to work out what and where my energy expenses are going -typical stuff-
What isn’t so ‘typical’ is how I have been treated as a customer…actually-A Person!-

We are solar and battery customers in Brisbane. We have had exceptional customer service all along the process. We has a leaking roof and they came back and fixed the leak. It wasn’t even their fault but they did it anyway. I would recommend the team any time.

Extremely poor experience with nectr - so much so that I couldn’t even get an account!

Sign up process was flawed and took nearly an hour to get a confirmation text. The. I was denied due to supposed bad credit despite supplying evidence that my credit is good!

Avoid and go with someone more established for a much better experience.

Unfortunately I had to get the ombudsman involved in an ongoing complaint. The customer service was extremely poor prior to this. Niraja who ended up handling the issue was however fantastic. Finally I was given a proper explanation in great detail. They also took my feedback seriously and ensured that it was used for the betterment of their customer service team. I am hoping this proves successful for the company’s future. They are extremely lucky to have some competent employees like Niraja.
