Very good service from MyExpatSIPP. The team was responsive, professional and helpful throughout my pension transfer and PCLS withdrawal process. Amalgamating SIPP's if you are no longer resident in UK.
For a reasonable cost MES were able to almalgamate my two SIPP's from other UK providers, who both denied me the option because I am no longer a UK resident. So far the process has been simple and the service timely and professional. Time will tell if my investment pays off.!!

Excellent specialist service for British expats
As a British expat and tax resident abroad, I hit a snag when a small private UK pension matured. The original provider was unable to deal with me due to my overseas residency and lack of a UK bank account. After doing some research on Google and expat forums, I found MyExpatSIPP (MES Pensions).
The team did an excellent job of simplifying what initially seemed like a complicated process. Communication was straightforward and clear throughout. I required a fair amount of guidance along the way, so I am particularly grateful to Tanjil Ahmed for managing the initial transfer, and to Jamie for his patience, professionalism, and thorough guidance through every step. Jamie made the transition smooth and stress-free.
If you are going to do this yourself, I strongly suggest you read the information provided on their website and check the vocabulary with AI if you need to. It will make everything easier and Jamie and the team will thank you!
I even showed the platform to my accountant here. While local accountants can manage country-specific tax implications, they rarely want to handle the mechanics of UK pension transfers, but this was an easy platform to use which makes a specialist service like this incredibly useful.
I highly recommend MyExpatSIPP and the team at MES Pensions to anyone in a similar position.

As a US client of the DIY SIPP, I find that the platform meets and exceeds my needs. When I have questions, their operational and dealing support are highly responsive by both email and phone. Transfers in are easy with their Origo service. Trading and investing in USD is supported. And for both the professional investor, and advised client, I think their UK FCA-regulated SIPP platform is among the best.

Great Onboarding
The initial on-line application process was very straight forward, no jargon, no complicated questions. Once my MyExpatSIPP account was open I was assigned a contact to help me with the onboarding process. In particular this meant dealing with the release processes at Aviva. It all went very smoothly.
