mycar Tyre & Auto - Firle Arvostelua 

I’m honestly really frustrated and upset with mycar. I have had 3 experiences now with them, two in store and one roadside assistance.

My first experience was a Tea tree plaza, it wasn’t that bad just lack of communication and they left my car even more dirty then before; leaving finger prints and boot marks which made me just not want to come back.

My roadside assistance experience a couple of days ago was really good, the man was super helpful and was really gentle with my car and tyre change which made me rebook with mycar for a full tyre change. Car services aren’t cheap so you expect your vehicle to be treated with respect.

Today I went to Firle Mycar to get my tyres changed as I had booked earlier in the week. The man was kinda rude saying I need to have a wheel alignment even though I had just gotten one around 2 weeks earlier form my service with them. I told him I had a spare on my car and I would like that to be reattached back to the bottom of my Vehicle when done. He told me it would be 4hrs to get this done, I was pretty frustrated for a tyre change doesn’t take 4 hours. Apparently they were having problems with the conveyor belts so it would take longer. I hadn’t been made aware of this until problem before I arrived for my booking so it was a pretty big inconvenience to my day. It ended up only around 2 hours. I wasn’t texted as the man said I would be I was called instead. He called me and put me on hold straight away, then he told my car was ready. I asked over the phone if my spare tyre had been reattached which the man over the phone said yes. I then went and picked it up. I didn’t trust that I’d had been done so I looked under my vehicle and behold they had thrown my spare tyre away and hadn’t put it back on my car. I then had to go back to firle and ask for it to be put back on. The man at the front counter had gotten a mechanic that was doing an oil change on someone’s car to put my spare tyre back. The mechanic didn’t know how to reattach it so I had to tell him and give him all the parts, I also explained that he needed to jack my car up for the tyre is attached underneath. He didn’t listen. He then took ages trying to reattach my tyre on the floor, leaving out really important pieces. Then, whilst he was under my car he asked me to use the drill on my car!!. This is not only stupid but seriously so dangerous, I am not a mechanic. What if I was to hurt you or vice versa. I then became highly annoyed so went and got the man I was on the phone with and finally they put my car back on the belt. I’m so frustrated, the mechanic didn’t even take off his cloves from the oil change when he drove my vehicle onto the conveyor belt. Now after sanitising my hands they are still filthy after driving my car home.

I’m mad disappointed at the neglect to my vehicle and to me and also the lack of respect, a simple sorry could’ve gone a long way.

On time, stuck to quote price, helpful staff.

The team were friendly, professional & quick and advised me of two potential issues on my car, a faulty window motor and yellowing headlight covers. I was a little surprised that when buying 4 tyres in one transaction that a wheel balance/ alignment wasn't included, and that an extra $89 was required, but that is a company policy, not a store one.

Easy online booking, great communication throughout the service, timely reminder to collect my car and friendly advice.

I have bought my tires from Firle Branch 10 monhs ago.
Last week I had a screw in in one of my tires and I dropped the tire next day to be fixed but surprisingly they changed it with a new one..
No procedures or no attitude very easy going and fast service..Thanks guys.

Fantastic service and communication

Mycar Tyre & Auto Firle have serviced my ageing car multiple times now. I found them by chance, after looking for a second opinion on an excessive quote from another repairer. The employee who’s always looked after my car is very knowledgeable, and transparent with all aspects of servicing including explaining the problems, estimated cost and resolution time. I wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else, and I highly recommend them.
