mycar Tyre & Auto - Firle Arvostelua 

I had my brakes checked this week as a different business who serviced the brakes previously seemed to have done the job incorrectly. The MyCar team member was so extremely kind to me on the phone and in person and explained the issue clearly to me and also provided the explanation in writing on the invoice. As a female sometimes car services can be explained in a patronising way and/or get ripped off or both!

On this occasion it was completely the opposite, it felt like a friend was talking to me. The great experience doesn’t stop there - he did not charge me for the brake inspection AND replaced my brake globe (that I didn’t even know was out) as a gesture of good will.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I always have a great experience, I find them to be honest, and that's really hard to find an honest mechanic these days, will diffinately go back

My review is rated on my personal experience and interaction with the management at MyCar Firle. It may be too early to rate the repairs, however the work appears to have been done in a timely and effective manner attending to the areas I requested. As a "senior" person I value trust and understanding and my dealings with "Phil" always provide that. Although I had no interaction with the technician I have no reason to doubt the quality of his work.

Quick, easy process and friendly staff

My work plans changed that morning, I found myself at Firle. Planning to get my car serviced soon, I popped in on the off chance it could be done that day (without a booking) and I got lucky.
I was informed of the price up front, as I was at Firle all day, there wasn’t a rush. It was ready when the gentleman said it would be.
We discussed a wheel alignment and he also mentioned a service I didn’t know was available to refurbish my head lights.
I will be returning for both of those services.

Good timely service. And no more expensive than others. But got lucky on a Pirelli tyre on special. Had my tyres from them before.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience at Mycar Firle. During my first visit in March for an annual service for my 8 years Mercedes-Benz GLA180, they quoted me $300 more than Bob Jane T-Marts for replacing four tyres. Even so, I agreed to go ahead after they matched the price. Then, on 03/06, I was charged $550 to fix a coolant leak, even though they just did a service in March and didn't notice the leak. Just a week later, the same issue occurred again. This time they claimed it was unrelated to the previous repair and quoted me $1300. When I picked up my car, the plastic bag they used was still left on my driver seat. I’m frustrated with their constant excuses and lack of professionalism. Not going back anymore.

Always helpful, always a great price

This is why I don't normally give reviews. Give an inch, take a mile. You can't just take the 5 star rating without me having to comment so back to 4 you go.

Quick and friendly service.

I had a bad experience with Mycar Firle years ago, but since I live just a few minutes away, I decided to give them another try, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, it was even worse this time.

I had a 2:30pm appointment for a tyre balance and rotation, part of their lifetime tyre service. Because it was free, they clearly gave priority to paid customers. By 3:30pm, my car hadn’t even been touched. It was finally completed just before 5pm, and no one even informed me—it just sat there while I waited.

Worse still, the staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. No communication, no courtesy, and certainly no apology. It felt like they didn’t value my time at all.

In stark contrast, I now go to Mycar Ingle Farm, where Tim, the manager, runs a fantastic team. I’ve been there four times already and have always received prompt, friendly, and respectful service.

Even though Ingle Farm is farther from home, I’ll gladly make the drive. I’d rather travel than ever deal with the poor treatment at Mycar Firle again. My family and I won’t be returning—ever.

I found the booking in and picking Up of the car very efficient, no waiting time. Communication at the time of booking plus also from the mechanic who worked on my car when a few issues arose was great.

I had my service and got a report that I needed $700 worth of repairs done. Parts that needed doing were brake lights and number plate lights, tyres and windscreen wiper assemblies. I went and bought the globes for all my lights at Repco, only to be told there’s nothing wrong with them all…they all work fine😳🫣

The engine oil wasn't checked properly and brake, and when I inquired about it, I received a dismissive and rude response instead of a proper answer. This lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. I've already raised a formal complaint about this issue.
