Easy and effective, best ROI
I have found Musosoup to be the best way to get reviews and playlisting. Easy to set up a campaign for a complete album, then just await the offers. No guesswork or tokens, no lottery regarding acceptance, and not having to list song-by-song. I later tried a PR Company and got about 20% results compared to Musosoup at about 4 times the cost.

Expensive for what it is offering, not worth it.
Honestly after paying the first amount for a campaign that lasts only 21 days I expected better offers and more coverage. As a small independent artist I blew most of my campaign budget if not all of it to not get any streams and no exciting offers that fit my vibe and my budget. I wanted to use this website for my other 11 songs coming this year, but I won't be coming back, it's not worth it. Be careful before you pay the first payment.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your campaign didn’t feel worthwhile; especially when you’re investing your own budget as an independent artist. We completely understand how important that investment is.
Our 21-day+ campaigns (you can submit up to 90 days before your release date at no extra charge and your campaign will end 21 days after your release date) are designed to connect artists with independent curators who choose whether or not to make an offer based on their own tastes and platform needs. That said, if you truly didn’t receive any relevant offers that matched your vibe or budget, that’s absolutely something we’d want to review properly.
We’d really appreciate the opportunity to look into your specific campaign and understand exactly what happened. Could you please email us at team@musosoup.com
with your artist name and campaign details? If, after reviewing everything, we find that you didn’t receive suitable opportunities, we’d be happy to arrange a refund.
We care a lot about supporting independent artists, and we’d love the chance to make this right for you.
Thanks again for your honesty, and we hope to hear from you soon.

5-star satisfaction!
I have been 5-star satisfied with the outstanding service of musosoup.com and their model for promoting independent music is unparalleled. Totally worth the investment which is as much or as modest you decide yourself. Much better that traditional pr agencies which charge more for less and with no guarantees of results.

Excellent coverage with no hassle
I was promoting my 15th album called "Arcadia", in a genre of music (ambient-classical) that is historically difficult to get covered in the press. Musosoup put me in touch with more than a dozen outlets who not only covered the release, but provided incredibly insightful and well-written reviews that helped elevate my music. Highly recommended!

A Music Promo Platform That Treats Artists With Respect
I’ve tried a few music promo platforms and most of them felt like throwing money into a hole and hoping something crawls back out. Pay first, pray later. No transparency or control. Just one more platform screwing the artist.
Musosoup wasn't like that.
The first thing that hit me was the simplicity. Clean and intuitive. I didn’t need tutorials or cheat sheets. Everything sat right where it should. You can tell the platform was built by people who actually know what it’s like to be on the artist’s side of the fence.
Once the campaign started, it felt supportive… almost surprising. Curators, blogs, radio stations, playlist owners… all laid out clearly. No smoke and mirrors. No mystery fees. I could research every offer, check their platforms, decide who aligned with my music and who didn’t. Total control. Total transparency.
And the results were real. I got playlist adds, blog reviews, interviews, social posts, and even radio play that pushed my track into indie charts in Europe. There were a few novelty offers I skipped, but the point is… I had the choice. Nothing happened behind my back. Nothing was forced.
Support was solid too. Every time I emailed, they got back to me with actual answers… not canned responses. UK to Australia meant waiting overnight sometimes, but that’s life living on the other side of the planet.
The biggest relief was knowing exactly what I was paying for before spending a cent. I wasn't gambling. There was no “buy credits and hope someone bites” only to get a nice comment but "not for me" after taking my money. Musosoup flips that whole broken model on its head. It’s honest and we artists deserve that.
If I could add one thing, it’d be a private rating system so I can mark offers based on a priority I give them and sort them on my end. Just a small quality-of-life tweak.
Overall… Musosoup made the whole process feel fair. Transparent. Empowering. Like someone finally designed a promo platform that respects artists instead of squeezing them.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such an in-depth and thoughtful review. We’re genuinely grateful for your honesty and incredibly glad to hear that your experience with Musosoup felt transparent, supportive, and empowering, that’s exactly what we set out to build.
It means a lot to hear that the platform’s simplicity and clarity stood out, and that you felt truly in control of your campaign. We believe artists should always know who they're engaging with, what they’re paying for, and have the freedom to choose the opportunities that make sense for their music, so it’s wonderful to hear this reflected in your experience.
We’re thrilled that your campaign delivered real, meaningful results, from playlist placements and blog reviews to interviews and radio play. Congrats on hitting indie charts in Europe! And thank you for highlighting the support experience as well; we always aim to provide real answers and genuine help, even across opposite time zones.
Your suggestion about a private rating system is a great idea. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable as we continue improving the platform, and we’ll definitely consider how features like that could enhance the artist workflow.
Above all, we’re so pleased that the process felt fair, transparent, and respectful to you as an artist. That’s the mission.
Thank you again for the powerful review and for trusting Musosoup with your release.

I like the fact that they can send your song to multiple curators and they respond yes or no. The other sites you pay to send a song to one curator at a time. Musosoup is easy and more efficient in my opinion. You already know the curators who like your song and you choose whom to work with. Process is smooth and easy and results are shown on my Spotify and Apple Music accounts.
