My experience of this company is negative
My experience of this company is extremely poor. They bombarded me with offers for my BMW. I eventually agreed and had phone calls promising me the amount valued for my car. I provided photos, personal information and details of address etc to pick up the car. Then they decided to ignore me. When I asked for an update they said it was due to my car being serviced in a local garage. Which was ridiculous!! It was serviced by a reputable mechanic!! Then they were just rude. Please don’t touch this company. Reviews are not genuine at all.

The service history presented to us was not an official invoice or documented service record. It was handwritten on notebook paper, and when we attempted to carry out our own checks, we were unable to find the garage online. In addition, the telephone number shown on the garage stamp appeared to have digits missing, meaning we were unable to contact the garage to verify the work carried out.
There was also an additional point that caused us concern. As the vehicle was a BMW, we would ordinarily expect to see the vehicle's service history recorded within the infotainment system. On this particular vehicle, there was no service history showing there either. When combined with the lack of verifiable paperwork, this understandably created further uncertainty around the history provided.
As we purchase vehicles for resale, we have a responsibility to ensure that the information and documentation relating to a vehicle can be properly verified. We felt that the lack of independently verifiable service history could potentially raise questions further down the line when the vehicle was subsequently sold to another customer.
To be clear, this was not a judgement on the mechanic or the quality of the work carried out. The issue was that we were unable to independently verify the service history presented to us.
We appreciate that this may have been frustrating, particularly if you know the vehicle has been properly maintained, but we have to consider the position of the next customer as well as our own when purchasing vehicles for resale.
We’re sorry that this wasn’t communicated to you more clearly at the time and appreciate you giving us the opportunity to explain.

Avoid this company—this was a textbook bait-and-switch experience. After a smooth initial process involving sending numerous photos via text, Motormoolah provided a written offer of £4,200 for my 2017 Zafira, which beat their competitors. However, the collection process completely contradicted the initial agreement.
The Initial Markdown: The collection driver arrived and reduced the offer from £4,200 down to £3,500, citing blemished paintwork on a bumper. The car is in very good condition for its year, and I disputed this claim.
I attempted to negotiate a compromise price of £3,600. However the driver stated he could not contact his superior to authorise it.
The driver then sat in his vehicle for a few minutes before texting me a reduced final offer of £2,750( despite offering £3,500 a few minutes previously !) and driving away.
From the initial written quote to the final text message, Motormoolah reduced their offer by nearly 35% based on a single disputed cosmetic issue.
The company sent a driver all the way from Derby to the South Coast, only to change the financial terms drastically on-site.
My 2017 Zafira was accurately represented through the requested photos prior to the visit.They use attractive initial quotes to secure the booking, only to apply heavy, unjustified penalties once the inspector is at your property.
Be aware of their business model and be prepared to be knocked down to an unrealistic price. I didn’t sell my car to them, but you probably guessed that…
I suspect that the collector is incentivised financially to reduce the price they finally offer. Seller beware!!!!

Sold my car for the price that was offered and had a positive experience throughout. The process was easy, everything uploaded online and I was paid immediately after the appraisal of the car.
Jade was great and explained how the process worked, I was also able to negotiate the final price
Danyal Ali who did the appraisal was very helpful and professional.
I would offer my feedback that I was initially given a whatsapp number to upload the photos to which didnt seem to work but after that I was sent a link to upload them.

Typed in my REG and got the highest quote by far compared to similar services. Contacted immediately and after discussing a bit of damage I got a fair price. Arranged collection date with Linda and she talked me through the whole process. Andy contacted me the day before the agreed collection and after a 2 mile test drive and taking pictures to validate the deal, the money went straight in. There was a slight delay between the collection driver Andy processing the collection and the money going in, but haven’t marked down my rating as it was easy and stress free with no haggling! Would recommend.

Jade was great, very good communication throughout the entire process.
Wish I could say the same for the guy on the phone who was supposed to be sorting out vehicle collection. I think some training in customer service is needed there. He was rude on the phone, didn't pass anything onto the driver who was collecting the car and communicating with him was like talking to a brick wall. He's the reason I'm not giving 5 stars...
The driver who collected my car was also very good. Communicated between myself and my husband on the day, was happy to Collect from my work and was pleasant throughout the whole encounter.

The initial price offer was better than other companies but was substantially reduced after a week because I was waiting to tie it in with my new car. That was disappointing - I understood the reduction of the day for the minor damage and despite the above the offer was better than the other companies. Quick, easy and very fair price.
Got an instant valuation using cars reg plate, then had 2 of the Motormoolah team contact me within 5 minutes! I spoke to Jade through WhatsApp who asked if the prices was good and if I wanted to move forwards. After I agreed that I did, I got a link to take pics of the car to back up the"average" condition I'd stated. I took all the pics requested (it walks you through this process) and took loads more of the small scuffs, dents, scrapes and scratches that a 4 year old car gets. Jade replied after 10 minutes to agree that the valuation figure was still good and would I like to arrange the collection or drop off in Hilton.
Initially, I requested a pick up, but later changed my mind to drop off, so when I took pics of the V5, 2 keys, locking wheel nut, service history and my ID, I arranged a time with Jade to drop it off.
I arranged Saturday morning, so understand that this is a busy time, but I did have to wait around an hour for the car to be checked over; not an issue as I sat in reception waiting with a complimentary drink. After the hour, the valuation price was still ok so we sorted the money out, and within another 25 to 30 minutes I was all done. Simple!
