I sold my car with motorway I think motormoolah are the same company
I was surprised they only gave me £8150 when they said £8700 was agreed I took loads of photos but they took more today and said it was worse then they thought I still did deal but people must be aware this can happen I didn’t know it could
However sonny the guy who picked the car up was very good
And would recommend his team to anyone

From start to finish Jade made the process easy and straightforward. She also offered the best price from a number of similar sites I advertised my car on. The handover was on time straight forward, with no haggling of the price offered. Money was in my bank in minutes. Would definitely highly recommend them to anyone selling their car and not willing to accept the trade in value at the garage. I got almost £4k more

I have used "We buy any car" and "Motorway in the past" and my experience with "MotorMoolah" was vastly superior to both. It was a very fast process and there was no haggling from the guys who came to collect the car. I was honest with Imogen about the (small) faults and we agreed on a good price that the company stuck to without quibble. Instant payment before they drove it away.

Easy experience, price offered online was honoured with no issues.

Would recommend and happily use again.

Motormoolah provided an easy and streamlined experience of selling my car. Sunny, who collected the car made this experience even better, was extremely personable and made me feel at ease. He provided clear instructions on how the process worked. Although the valuation did come down due to some work that needed to be done, Sunny remained open and transparent throughout and helped us get a better price, though we still took a loss. I have given this 4 stars instead of 5 as we would have liked to have sold the car for more, but the experience of dealing with motormoolah, and the convenience of it all, helped deal with the loss. I dealt with Imogen to sell my BMW, the process was quick and communication throughout was very good. I achieved a higher price than the franchise dealership offered me and would use MM again. Imogen was brilliant, very responsive with messages and quick to answer any questions. The chaps that collected the car were also excellent and all my dealings with the company were 1st class. Money paid immediately to my bank account and whilst sad to see the car go, a new one arrives tomorrow!

WASTE OF TIME COMPANY!!

Was in contact with them back and forth since their online offer. sent all relevant details and photos as requested.
Organised an appraisal and collection. Which two lads dropped off in a car by someone else (bear in mind we live in a rural area) . They sent pics back to the office who then come back and amended the offer price as there was some more bodywork issues them motor moolah had reported . So agreed the new price. Waited 30 mins for them to send the relevant invoice and agreement for then to have the purchase aborted. Then they would not answer the phone to the guys in the yard and blocked us. Leaving these two guys in the middle of no where.
Which I personally had to take them miles to the nearest public transport. Bear in mind I also have 3 kids and it was raining.

These two guys where great very apologetic and polite they where just doing their job and only Collection lads.

Don’t waste your time going with this company

If you sell a car through The Motorway and it’s this dealership that has the winning bid I would strongly advise you to ask for the second winning bid!
After accepting the offer, I was told by the dealership my car was being collected on Friday, waited in all day, no one showed up, no phone call, no answer to the messages I left! I reported it to The Motorway and after a few days I had a phone call from the dealership again to say it was being collected today (Wednesday).
The dealership had offered me £8,904. The dealers’ collection guy came over and looked at my car, took a load of photos, told me that there was a lot more scuffs and scraps than I had photographed….just to add some context, I couldn’t even see half of them, I really had to get right up to the car and search!
After his very thorough check, the dealer got back to him with a price of £7,400! I asked him if this was a joke?! He told me that they would have to respray the whole panels because of the paint chips, I said “for a used car???!” Absolute con artists!!! One of the ‘paint chips’ that he had photographed which resulted in my lower price, I removed with my own spit!
I can’t attach a photo on here but I have on the google review, if you’re at a loss of what to do with your time, or you’re fed up of suduko, you could have a game of ‘find the paint chip that seriously lowers the value of your car according to the conmen at Hilton Garage and their transport company Motor Moolah’ it’s a great game!!

As many others have stated its starts well but goes downhill. Initial offer £16,500. went down to £16k renegotiated back up to £16,300. I agreed to it...until the contract comes via email.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SIGN

CLAUSE 13. I already agreed to a test drive and agreed to any full inspection they wanted of the car whilst in my possession, but when it leaves my possession and they pay for it its their car.

Well not with this company.

Clause 13 states should the vehicle experience a mechanical fault or breakdown within 36 hours of them collecting it they can then return it for a full refund. That clause is not negotiable and it states that clearly as well.

I told them I would welcome a full inspection of the car before they took it, RAC, AA, their own mechanics, but no they want to take it, use it for 36hrs then have the option to return it if they find a fault that I cannot prove was not there in the first place. In 36 hours they can strip the engine, replace the clutch literally do anything they want and I have no comeback.

If they want to inspect cars they should be doing that prior to purchase. As a seller once you release the vehicle you have zero control over their handling and use of the car so to accept that they can use or misuse the car for 36hours is a no go for me and hopefully this post will highlight that to others.

Jade offered me a more realistic price for my car than other businesses did, which I just wouldn’t have even considered by the way! Process was simple; took the car to them, the mechanics checked over the car which they were happy with and Jade paid off the finance and put the remainder straight in to my bank account. No question of trying to reduce the price. Very happy and would recommend highly for those looking for a quick sale. Jade was friendly, professional and I was really pleased to have dealt with her.

My experience of selling my car was refreshingly straightforward and stress free. Ben was extremely helpful and locked in an attractive price almost immediately. The process from then on was simple. Just sending documents and photographs and organising to bring the car to Hilton Garage. Within an hour and a half I had received payment in full and had handed the car over. I couldn't be happier with the service I received (but the free hot chocolate was awful 😅). Would highly recommend and will use them again if required.

First Class from start to finish, around £500 better than the nearest rival trade offer. Paid immediately before the car left the drive and a friendly team of collection agents. Be accurate with your description, be honest about marks, take all the photos they need and everything should go fine. I would use again and recommend to family and friends.

Five star service from Onyx and Motormoolah! Darren and Matt collected my car this morning and were both brilliant, I was feeling quite emotional about letting the car go but they were very helpful and reassuring, and overall made this whole handover stress free. Very kind and professional - as Ben promised Instant payment and great communication very highly recommended.

MotorMoolah purchased my car through Carwow auction. The delivery company they authorised to collect my vehicle did not turn up as arranged. I complained and when they turned up at 15.30 to transfer my car Southampton to Derby the assessor sabotaged my car to create an engine management by removing the MAF sensor. My sale was cancelled. I contacted MotorMoolah to inform them of the actions of the transport representative. They failed to acknowledge or reply to my complaint. I would not recommend MotorMoolah as they use unprofessional agencies to move their vehicles and do not want to know when customers informed them of their behaviour.

Had to chase up as no call back as promised to start then when I got the call things started moving
Booked the following week to pick up my car was rebooked to come the next day. Came as stated all checks do and payment done without any issues paid as expected
