I didn’t know which Tranny to purchase but after talking to Dorothy, she really helped me to decide which Tranny was best for me. She was very professional, understanding, and Knowledgeable Thanks Dorothy..!! So far the staff has been in contact with me from the start. If the Tranny holds up as well as the customer service I won’t shouldn’t have any issues at all. Thanks Monster keep up the Performance.!!!

I Urge you to go somewhere else ... They pay people to do good reviews .. they asked me to do a 5 star review for money off my transmission
I purchased a $3900 transmission with a 3 yr warranty. I received the transmission and on the very first test drive, 3rd gear was not working. I contacted them and they wanted me to pay an additional $800 for them to fix it. For 3 months I fought with them to fix it for free , but they told me that it was my fault and the warranty would not cover the shipping or bench time. I cut my losses and purchased another transmission from a local dealer

Monster Transmission is the absolute WORST company to ever order a transmission! I have been without a truck for 5 months and has to send me 3 transmissions for my truck! Customer Service is HORRIBLE they DO NOT get back in touch with you and DO NOT answer any questions or concerns you have.

So far, no communication. After they take your money and sign your contract. Nothing Called the sales representative, Collin. Really has no way to help but gave me customer service number. Finally got a hold of them. They informed me of the actual shipping time frame. Called to follow up Last week Left message with customer service again and got a ticket number to refer to if they didn't call back. They didn't. Nothing. Then a trucking company calls my husband, not even sure how they got his number, and asks when they can deliver my transmission and do we have a forklift? No tracking Nothing! I'm very concerned about getting my core charge back of $1200. Haven't got the transmission yet. 6 to 8 weeks to ship. Not 4 like the sales rep indicated. Which is not a problem but honesty helps everyone plan. Sales reps must be on commission, they're very fast at getting the order and your first e mails out to seal the deal then relationship is over. The estimated ETA cust service gave me was correct. That's why I was calling to get a tracking number or something. I never got any shipping information. Ever. The mechanic just wanted a shipping number or info on when it would arrive to schedule. So I called and left message with customer service. Never heard back but got the call from the shipping dispatcher to schedule a delivery date.
I'm hoping the communication is better when I go to return my core and that there are no problems with the transmission. Communication is customer service. So can't say they have good customer service.

Do not use this service.
I saved a couple hundred bucks but it took over 4 months for them to get me the correct parts (which I had to pay extra for a torque converter return that THEY missold me).

When they say we build more than transmissions, they build relationships, this is incorrect. They should hire people who actually call you back. I feel like once they got my money they stopped giving a f*uck about me.

Honestly screw them.

Ordered two transmissions from Monster: a 4wd and a 2wd. Both were for Chevy Tahoe's of the same gen (2000 5.3L and 2003 5.3L). Was sent the right transmission with the wrong bell housing on it for the 4WD and spent days waiting for a resolution to their mess up with no response even calling them every day I kept getting pushed off and told that "the techs hadn't looked at the pictures yet". I gave them everything the asked for all the information, pictures everything. They finally insisted that they had sent me the correct unit which it clearly was not. A tech rep FINALLY concurred with me that the bell housing was wrong and agreed to send me a new one (which I am currently awaiting). My brother's transmission (the other one) we installed and it has bad shift solenoids. Just an awful company, they do bad work and will put you off as long as possible if you don't get on their backs. DO NOT BUY FROM MONSTER IF YOU DON'T ENJOY WASTING TIME, MONEY AND PATIENCE.

Hunter was on the spot with help and any assistance I needed outfit my 1966 Fastback Mustang's new engine and trans upgrade. I highly recommend these folks - the customer service and updates are fantastic.

Monster Transmission sold me a transmission for a 2017 Dodge 3500 on 3/15/22 for $5,205.59. They called on 3/16 and let me know they had to charge $1,017.61 more. On 4/19 they called and said my core was damaged in transit, $2,000 more. Unit gets shipped from their facility on 5/3/22. We get the transmission installed in June and the transmission shop could not get it out of second gear. After two weeks of going back and forth with Monster Transmission July 26 they approved my unit to come back for warranty work, I just have to pay another $358.33 for shipping. I received my bill of lading from them on 8/19/22, they work on the transmission and send it back on 10/13/22. My transmission shop gets the Monster Transmission back, installs it and trouble shoots it for 2 weeks. The transmission will leave second gear but bumps down the road. They suggest we bring it to a Dodge dealer. Truck gets driven 45 minutes to a dealer and stops moving. Dealer confirmed there is an issue with the internal transmission lines not holding pressure. Monster Transmission refuses to refund my money and now wants us to return the transmission again to their Florida location. Will stated they are willing to do the same repairs as last time but they will pay shipping. Will said he must follow policy, so I asked for his manager's information but they don't have phone lines. I would be insane for allowing them to try to repair their broken transmission again.

Installed a “refurbished” transmission and followed at steps correctly, even checking the oil and not going on long road trips or heavy towing for the first 500 miles. I have a warranty on the transmission. It’s been six month from the install and this thing is about to fall out from under my truck. You cannot rely on getting someone to talk to you or call you back. They are rude and annoying to talk to. I keep getting turned around to different departments to about this warranty. I hope this company does not continue business. Should shut down.

After having to send the transmission back due to converter failure, within the first 30 miles, it cost me an additional $200 in ATF, because they won't cover it. The second time, they sent the wrong converter with it, which you don't know until its installed as there is no labeling on it or the box(a lil sketchy). Good luck with getting anyone from customer service to respond to you. You get a lot of blue sky with your purchase for Monster Transmission. Hands down the worst experience I ever had with a company. A horrifying experience to say the least. Spent a lot of money to be disappointed.

Bad trans right front the get go never shifted right took 2 yrs out the 3yr warranty to get another one sent out and no communication to the shop from monster shitmissions hung up on me several times on hold more then talking to anyone this company is poor on service, quality, and customer service and care offered me nothing for my troubles except for a massive amount of hassle ( we know our transmissions are good because we test everyone before they go out our door) LMAO I'll never recommend them to anybody and tell all who will listen about my experience with this poor company

We have a warranty claim for a transmission we put in a service vehicle. After a month, they finally sent us the wrong parts. Once again they will not respond and this is been since early October. Do not do business with monster transmissions

Don't buy anything from Monster Transmissions!!! I purchased an AOD transmission and it was failing from the first time I installed it. Leaks from the shift shaft and soft shifts. I contacted them and they made me rebuild my governor then told me to take it to a transmission shop, which confirmed it was a faulty valve body. The delay in their responses and actions they made me do caused it to go past the 30 day warranty and now told me to deal with my bank for the refund. They are masters at hiding from their faults and putting the blame and cost on the customer. A total waste of money and time. Go somewhere else for your transmission.

I haven’t got to install the Transmision yet because the motor still has not arrived. But I did appreciate how well monster Transmision communicated about the stages of the build of the custom Transmision I ordered.

Nightmare experience. Horrible company, terrible customer service. I ordered a transmission, from Day 1 tried to verify my order was correct, even threatened to cancel my order if they can't confirm order is correct. After 1 month of trying to confirm order and schedule core return, just cancelled my order. They refused. Just refused to cancel my order, threatened to charge me 25% restocking fee despite me never signing terms and conditions. They hadn't even started prepping the transmission. Ended up disputing charges, 60 days later and it's just a nightmare.

Terrible customer service only received 400 of my 1500 core return
