Same owners as Brand house Direct...warning do not deal with! Poor customer service. Sizing is questionalble!!

NO SHOES NO CORRESPONDANCE ordered shoes on the 12 February and received an email to say they would contact us when shipped nothing has happened since called 3 times to be told it is a ware house problem. NO money returned and not helpful at all. Said it would be shipped in 7 days . Have tried to get help but have not had any help and support. Please send us our shoes.

Read the reviews on this site after I had placed my order and was advised that delivery would be in 7-10days.
How delighted was I when the door bell rang this morning just 3 working days later with exactly the right shoes and the perfect fit.
Will definitely be shopping here again probably for a pair of Brazilian sandals.

Awful customer service. Avoid.
I've gone through an epic month long ordeal with them. They don't provide status, they don't respond. If you order from Mode Footwear you'd better nope that absolutely nothing goes wrong, and that you don't need to contact their customer service.

Why do I say this?

I ordered from Mode in January 2023.

Once an order is in, there's no indication of order progress until they ship.

After 12 days, I emailed to ask about status. No response.

2 days later, I emailed to cancel the order, request a refund.
A day later I found the product I wanted elsewhere.
A day later mode responded saying cancellation wasn't possible because they were shipping the order.
Two days later I received the AusPost shipping notification - the one they send when a tracking notification is generated, but no package yet with them.
Two days later AusPost showed the package being with Them.
Two days after that I received the package, and promptly printed a return shipping label AT MY OWN COST, and sent it back to mode.
Two days later, AusPost confirmed Mode received the return package.

Ten days later, I have a refund notification from mode - minus shipping. But no actual refund on credit card as of yet.

They don't respond, and don't care.

Not refunding faulty returned goods.
I purchased a pair of sandals which came faulty and waited 2 weeks for mode to email the supplier to confirm even though it was obvious in the photos. (I emailed the supplier and got a response in 2 hours)

After finally getting a returns label another week or 2 later I send of my return and 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for my refund.
It has been 2 months since I first let them know about the faulty product I received (one of the footbeds had shrunk in their warehouse) no one has responded to my emails. Still waiting for refund.

I know some people had problems with this company, but in my experience, it was amazing.

I got a good price for a pair of Dr Martens, which arrived in less than a week.

I didn't have to contact customer service because everything ran smoothly.

I have to read these review before placing an order. THEY ARE VERY SLOW, ORDERED TWO WEEKS BEFORE BUT STILL WAITING, NEVER HEARD FROM THEM ABOUT DELIVERY SO FAR.
DON'T REPLY YOUR EMAILS.

Wish I read the previous reviews before ordering.
Did not receive any information re. Delivery. Waited 1 week when I emailed them, only to be told it had not yet been shipped. I then emailed them 4 times over the following week to cancel my order. No reply.

Slowest shipping ever, worst customer service. Emailed them to say please refund because the shoes won’t arrive in time for the event and it went ignored, called them and all of a sudden it’s with the shipping partner and they can’t refund. Still haven’t received a tracking number or shipping confirmation. I will be contacting paypal today.

Does not ship fast at all. Liars

Ordered 2 different sized pairs of Dr Martens as school shoes. 1 pair split in 4 seperate places after being worn for about 4 weeks. It’s clearly a manufacturing fault as the splits are all along the same place where two different materials meet and clearly didn’t bond properly. Emailed pics asking for replacement and got no response. Rang, emailed again and was told it was forwarded to management. Emailed again and told it would be forwarded to manufacturer. Rang them again and they had no record of an issue and said manager will call me back. Have requested either replacement or refund - their choice. They haven’t responded to any other emails since.

Do not buy from these guys! I thought they would be legit, as they have Afterpay etc. I have been stuffed around so much. Way too much stress for a pair of shoes. They do not ship fast at all. And then when I tried to cancel the order because it was taking too long and they had told be it wouldn’t be dispatched for several days, they refused and then immediately shipped it that day. Still too late for the event I need them for and I had to buy them somewhere else . Now the hassle of trying to get a refund.

I ordered a pair of Docs on the 31st October & received them on Tuesday 8th November...8 days later. After I had ordered them, I came across reviews on Mode Footwear & became more than a little concerned based on the negative comments. However, as it turned out, I needn't have worried. I was able to contact them via both phone & e-mail. The couriers picked up my order on Monday 7th November at their warehouse in Victoria & my Docs were delivered by 8.30am on Tuesday 8th to my house in South Australia!

I ordered a pair of Dr martens (22 Sep 22). After no communication for a few weeks, I messaged them asking when it's likely to be delivered. They responded with they will be shipped out by the end of the week (12 Oct 22). The next day I got an email saying they were having stock issues and didn't have the stock, they offered me the same pair in white. I declined and received a refund. I looked on their website that day at the same type and size I ordered and they said they were still in stock.

I wouldn't recommend ordering from them. Spend a little extra and get them from a reputable company.

DONT BUY I ignored the reviews and shouldn’t of because they were right, the worst customer service ever….. so get sucked in by price. Now Im nervous on the quality of the DMs we purchasd!!!!!
2 weeks of chasing our order from a suburb next to ours…after countless emails & unanswered calls I finally got through on chat and my order was on ‘back order’, which they hadn’t bothered to let us know or i would have cancelled as we needed ASAP. This was two weeks later and they still couldn’t tell me when they were going to send…. funny though that two days later i get an AU POST notice that they have them… so clearly they just forgot the order.. no apology nothing from mode & i kept the transcript from the chat just in case and happy to share to prove how bad the customer service is…
so if your in a hurry for product don’t buy and i’ll let you know about the quality….

ORDERED AND DIDN’T RECEIVED MY ITEM, THEY WOULDN’T ALLOW TO CANCEL OR REFUND. THEY’RE A FRAUD. CURRENTLY WORKING WITH AFTERPAY FOR MY DISPUTE AS THEY WERE VERY UNHELPFUL TOO.

Do not use this company. They are not legitimate. I ordered some DMs and 2 weeks later, I don't have the boots and have had no responses to my emails and calls. It's now escalated with Paypal.

I was looking for a pair of Dr Martens for work and came across their site, I was very hesitant to buy until I saw previous reviews on here and hoped they were truthful. I was pleasantly surprised and received the shoes very quickly.

This is the most disgusting company I have ever dealt with . I have been trying to get a refund for months even though we have purchased 2 other pairs of shoes from them
Goes well if things are good but try and get your money back if it doesn’t

I was sceptical about this being a legitimate website, with authentic Doc Martens, but it really is.
I messaged them over Facebook first to confirm the boot I was after was in stock (after seeing negative reviews on a few websites). Once they confirmed they did have the stock, I placed my order.
To my surprise, it came within a week AND my boots were authentic Doc Martens.
I also saw the reviews about Mode shoes being from an outlet store, but found no blemishes or anything to indicate lower quality.
Looks like I just found a great deal on authentic shoes, from a speedy team that also offers Zippay!
