Gee, I really wish I had read these reviews before I placed an order with Mode Footwear. I needed to return the footwear as they did not fit me. To the point of ordering and returning the footwear I could not fault the process - it was all made very easy. HOWEVER, 2 weeks after Australia Post tracking tells me the returned footwear has been received by Mode FW I am STILL waiting for my refund. I have sent 3 emails and received only one response as follows: "The returns team will contact you once the return is processed."
At this point I do not recommend purchasing through this online store. By ticking the box to advise Mode Footwear of this review I am giving the company an opportunity to make things right - immediately.

This has been the worst experience I've ever had. If it were possible, I would definitely give this store 0 stars. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I placed an order for an item 10 days ago, and until now, I haven't received any updates or communication from them. It's incredibly frustrating.

I strongly advise against wasting your money at this store. It seems like a scam company, given their lack of responsiveness and failure to deliver on their promises. Save yourself the hassle and look for a more reliable and trustworthy retailer.

I purchased a pair of shoes from this "vendor", when, after 7 days, I had not received tracking confirmation that my order had been dispatched, I called the vendor and was told they would be on the way by the following Monday.
When this promise was also broken, I contacted them again, and was given another worthless assurance that they would "probably" be sent by the end of the week.
I then told them that, as the shoes were a birthday present for a date now passed, and as they had not been shipped I wanted to cancel the order for a full refund.
I was told some nonsense lie about not being able to cancel the order because they had already printed something or other.
The only option they would countenance was for me to wait until they eventually ship the item, if ever, costing me $13 postage, then return it, costing me more postage and time, and when they received the item they would "assess" my request for refund.

This vendor is clearly deceptive and dishonourable, do NOT give them your money, you WILL regret it.

I didn't receive nothing, if you call an Indian girl answer and doesn't give you any information, only keeps saying that they send it. Don't buy from them are a scam

Terrible service - Ordered, and paid, on 5/11/23 (Admittedly a Sunday) but no information - hasn't been picked, packed or shipped - by Friday 10/11/23, despite asking for an update on Wednesday 8/11/23 as to how the order was progressing. Got a generic answer "Hi thank you for your inquiry. The order is in the final stages of the shipping run. Once dispatched, we will email you tracking details.
Mode Footwear" and still nothing on Friday. Requested information again on Friday morning and still no response. Have now requested a cancellation and full refund.

Ordered footware 4 weeks ago. No delivery. Two eMails sent, no reply. People should not order from this company as they accept the money but fail to deliver the product.

No response for 7 days after made the order, I nearly think it's a scam but after contact them, the shoes were posted the following week.

I bought a pair of doc martens and the sole has split.
I’ve been trying to contact this company for 2 months and when they did respond they told me that I needed to cut the shoes up if I want to receive a store credit.
I’ve tried calling the company to ask to speak to a manager but the staff tell you they don’t know when a manager will be in.
Not worth the trouble, shop elsewhere!!

Ordered shoes. They Arrived. Requested refund. Sent shoes back. They got delivered back to them. Now Have been ghosted. No replies to emails and won’t answer the phone. So they have my shoes and my money. I’ve put a claim in to somehow get money back. Do not go through these people.

Terrible customer service. Waited weeks for my order and it didn't get here in time for my event.. even though they promised me it would. Tried calling multiple times to talk to a manager only to be hung up on and told there is no manager. No one helped me at all every time I called. Shipping is not fast. And the return process is NOT easy!!!! Now I finally received the shoes weeks late f0r my event so I called to send back for a refund only to be told that I can only get a store credit. I will never shop here again and I will tell everyone I see about my awful experience with Mode footwear. This online store should be shut down bef0re anyone else has to go through what I did. If I could give less stars I would. Absolute clown show!

Was sent a faulty pair of boots and I contacted mode Footwear and they claimed no responsibility. They were going to make me pay for the return, as if it was my fault. They never called and there manager was always in a meeting, phoned every week. Took nearly 8 weeks for a new pair to be sent out. Will never buy again through Mode Footwear.

The customer service is appalling as I bought a pair of boots size 8, and they sent me a pair of boots size 8 1/2 which were too big for me so I had to return at my own expense, but I got a refund back. They only refunded me the price of the boots I paid and not the postage they’re back so I was out of pocket $40. I emailed them and I explained the situation that they needed to pay me for the shipping cost as it was their fault that they sent me the wrong size. I never received ever apply from them, so I would never deal with his company again because the customer service is that Poor. Not a happy customer.

So read a few bad reviews about these guys but they were one of only two places that sold the pair of Docs I wanted in my size. Messaged them through Facebook and they advised that did in fact have them in stock. Shipping Melb to Perth expected to be 4-5 days. Anyway ordered on 07 Jul and received them today on 20 Jul. So yeah a little slow, however the shoes are perfect and I got them for $200 instead of $280 RRP. There had to be a give somewhere I guess. Overall I'm satisfied shopping with these Mf (Mode Footwear not what you just thought) and would do so again.

I purchased a pair of Doc Martens from Mode footwear online on 1 July 2023, they proessed the order fast and had them delivered by Courier, with them arriving perfectly packed to me on 6 July 2023. I am very happy with the price of the boots, the careful packaging, and the speedy service. I will keep them in mind in future for other Doc Marten purchases.

Terrible customer service, multiple times I have emailed them and they kept saying they were going to spend it, I've asked for multiple refunds and they have now stopped responding to my emails, don't be believe the hassle free returns its a lie

Shoe are the wrong size. Cheap asian knock offs. Cant reach customer support after three days

Awful customer service. $220 Dr Marten boots lasted five months before developing holes in the leather in both boots. No reply to multiple emails, messages etc. Eventually asked for photos which I supplied and then no response. When I followed up they just continue to ask for photos dragging it out until the paypal cover expired so no option for refund there either. Won't resolve the faulty boots even though I am covered under Australian consumer law. Avoid this shop. Bad quality products and non existent customer service. Very unhappy.

Doc Martens sandals faulty, weeks of correspondence and provided pics. 2 shoe repairers confirmed a shoe fault. Had to keep sending emails to check on replacement. Told to cut up shoes to get a “ store credit”. Wouldn’t just swap them over. Store credit less that current price. Had to pay extra $40 and postage for their faulty shoes. Had to get a different shoe as my size not available in the original ones. Very disappointing. Do not purchase from this online company. You end up out of pocket and they do not communicate with you. 0/10

Worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. Proceed with caution.
