Modavo Arvostelua 94

This is a complete scam company operating under an Aldi logo I ordered a washing machine supposed to take 30 days for delivery. After 3 months of emailing Aldi they didn't help. Finally I got a response from someone purporting to be from the company who sent me a WhatsApp number to contact to arrange the refund as they were unable to deliver. I contacted this number who was listed as centauri PTE and they asked for a PayPal email address to send the refund and promptly took another 100€ from my account. I have now filed disputes with Aldi, PayPal and my bank to try to recoup my money and closed my bank account and PayPal. DO NOT use this company

If I could give 0 stares I would, this company took my money and didn't deliver my clothes dryer. I've been getting the run around and no assurance of a refund or product. I ordered a dryer on Oct. 16 2025 and have not received it yet. I've called customer support and can't get a answer. I've emailed time and time again and still nothing. People I beg you please don't order from this company, they are a (SCAM). THEY SAID MY DRYER WAS DELIVERED. I have not received anything no dryer, no refund, and no explanation. Do not order from Modavo if you don't want to be scammed like I was.

Very disappointing experience with Modavo.
I bought two pairs of shoes and one didn’t fit well, so I requested a refund. They told me they don’t cover return shipping costs, even though this is nowhere mentioned on their website. Their customer service is extremely poor — I had to email more than 25 times just to get a response about the return process.

On top of that, they usually reply after 30 days, which automatically puts you outside their return policy. I honestly feel this is their strategy — they delay responses so that, once the 30-day window has passed, you can no longer ask for a proper return.

After all that waiting, they offered me three options:

Return the item but I pay the shipping cost,

Replacement, or

A 30% refund without returning the item.

It feels like they’re taking advantage of customers. Getting a reply takes forever, and they have no phone number or any direct way to contact them besides email or their website form.

I do not recommend buying anything from Modavo.

They don’t deserve even 1 star! The products are trash and never like the ads and marketing shows. They are located in China and if you want to return your unsatisfied products. You will need to pay the shipping to China.

Movado Watch Store online has poor customer service. My wife gave me a self winding watch from online store. It quit working before a year. We contact them through web site email. There recommendation was to take it to a service center 980 miles away. Then called. Not premium service for $1 000 watch. Won't buy another!!

Horrible experience overall. they bait and switch and lie about return policy. SAVE YOURSELF STRESS AND FINANCIAL LOSS AND DON'T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE LIARS!

This company is a terrible scam, will send you the cheapest material that looks nothing like the picture, you will find better quality from shein; it’s made in china anyway from worse materials than shein and it’s not exactly cheap. Stay away!

If there is 0 star I will give that. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!! They are cheap made products come from Guangzhou China. Products are nothing like it in the videos. FALSE ADVERTISING. You need to return items to China lol which is expensive shipping you need to pay. What a scam.

What a scam! They call themselves Modavo US but once you receive your package you will have to pay to ship the item back to china if you want to return it: the website makes it sound the returns are seamless and hassle free. Quality looks nothing like the beautiful images online. I’ll be contacting my credit card company for a refund.

The sandals were not only not the same as on the website, they came damaged. When I emailed photos and asked for a refund, they shipped a replacement and will not provide a refund. The replacement is still wrong. MAJOR SCAM.

These shoes are the absolute worst quality garbage I have ever ordered online. Do not waste your money! The Modavo photos online are not what you get, the bag they came in has a different company name on it and they took forever to get. The shoes are not real leather, not even good fake leather….mine came with a tear in the sole because the “coating” is so thin. Plastic with bad glue everywhere. I should have read the reviews on Trustpilot first then I would never have purchased. Don’t make the same mistake. Stay away from this company!

None of the 3 pairs I ordered look anything like what is advertised!! The colors and stitches shown are not even close to what you see online. Such a disappointment.
The only redeeming thing I can say is that they’re comfortable at least. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of retuning but otherwise these would go right back!

Terrible quality shoes. There is dried glue all over the fake leather. Tearing on the side. Modavo has not responded to the 7 emails I have sent. I have gotten my credit card company involved.

I ordered 3 pairs of sandals. They are cheap looking…not as pictured. They did not fit. I have been trying to get a refund and they want to send me a different size sandal. I keep emailing them and takes days to receive a response. Horrible customer service. I have followed their return policy and keep waiting for a return label after 5 days waiting and 4 emails sent!

Terrible quality and experience. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and a purse. The website says you can cancel if product has not shipped, and that is not the case. The US made me believe that product was already in the states and it is not so takes a few weeks to arrive. Sandals do not look as pictured, even thread color is not the same. I could have gotten a better quality purse and shoe from Temu or Shein. Customer service emails are quick unless you are trying to get them to fix something that is the company’s fault. (I was an idiot and ordered a too good to be true purse so that’s on me to ship back. The shoes not being what I ordered should be on them.) I have emailed 6 times and still hassling to get a return.

These people have a lot of nerve selling garbage and touting it as the next Birkin bag. It was supposed to be brown suede. It was felt. FELT!! like that fake cheap velvet thats almost like paper. When I asked for a return refund they offered me 20% return and / or another bag. No thanks. demanded a whole refund. this went on for many e mail exchanges. reported it to Paypal and to paypal credit. Had to make a fuss. It wasnt just the money its the idea that they are getting away with this. Paypal would be complicit in fraud if they continued to accept payments from them . I made that quite clear. Finally after two months got a full refund. Still have the shitty bag. Was going to make a post about it to warn everyone about how low quality it is. You know what also sucks - is these actors that agree to make these videos that are blatant lies. this company should be sued completely. Unfortunately I also noticed some people were actually happy with this $5 felt paper trash. Big thumbs down.

Avoid buying from this company. The sandals are poor quality and cheaply made. On top of that, they sent me the wrong size—I ordered an 8½ (EU 39), and they sent a 42. Now they expect me to pay a hefty return shipping fee for their mistake. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.

SCAM COMPANY! Don’t waste your money! Their products are junk! The shoes are plastic and when you try to return either no response or you have to send to China! Their products are not worth more than 50 cents. And I paid close to $50!
