I don’t usually write reviews, but this company truly deserves one.

After many weeks of researching different SUP brands, I finally decided to purchase the MOAI Limited Edition 12’6. Living in Turkey, I was honestly very worried about customs duties, import procedures, and unexpected extra costs. That was my biggest concern before placing the order.

I sent several emails with many questions, and this is where I want to give a very special thank you to Lisette.

She patiently answered every single question I had, always with kindness, honesty, and professionalism. She explained the shipping process in detail, reassured me about the DDP shipment, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. To be completely honest, without Lisette and all of her emails, I probably wouldn’t have had the confidence to place my order. She played a huge role in my decision to choose MOAI over other brands.

The board was shipped from the Netherlands to Turkey with UPS. During customs clearance, I only needed to provide a notarized power of attorney so that the UPS customs broker could complete the import process on my behalf. I did not have to pay any additional customs duties or surprise charges upon delivery, exactly as MOAI had promised.

When the board finally arrived, it exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent, the board is incredibly rigid thanks to the woven technology, and the glide on the water is amazing. It was my very first SUP session, and I was able to stand up almost immediately. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

This is my first SUP board, but it definitely won’t be my last. My wife has already decided that she wants one too, and without any hesitation, we’ll be choosing MOAI again.

There were a few mishaps with the shipping, where one of the articles that accompanied my board was not the correct one. The MOAI team was very quick in fixing the issue and sending me the right article. The after-sale service is excellent. The item was delivered from the Netherlands to Barcelona in about four days, which is good.

Ordered the Touring Ultra Light 12'6 Limited Edition from Malta : received in just under a week, which honestly surprised me given where I live. Communication was clear throughout.

The board itself is exceptional for the price. Build quality feels premium: woven dropstitch, solid construction, great finish. The carbon shaft paddle is noticeably light, and the triple-action pump makes inflation quick and easy.

First session confirmed what the specs promised, the glide is incredible compared to my previous all-around board. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend Moai to anyone looking for a serious touring board at a fair price.

Bis auf die Lieferzeit war alles super, Bestellung war mit vorreservierung getätigt. Punktabzug gibt’s dafür das man lieb und nett Nachfragt habe wann mit der Lieferung zurechnen sei und man keine Antwort bekommen hat. Von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung waren es 6 Wochen und das bei zwei Boards ohne Monitoring und ohne Rückmeldung sehr dünn
