Pros:
The private transportation to Mt. Fuji was convenient and comfortable. Attary also took some nice photos for our group, which we appreciated.

Cons:
The evening before the tour, I shared the address of our Airbnb with the driver. On the morning of the tour, there was some confusion regarding the pickup location, as he mentioned the address directed him to Shibuya even though the address I provided listed Kita City. Unfortunately, this seemed to affect the start of the tour, and our initial interaction with Attary felt a bit less welcoming than we had expected. While Attary did apologize for the misunderstanding, the apology wasn’t offered until we were on our way back.

Overall, the tour was enjoyable but could have been better organized. From the third row of the van, it was difficult to hear Attary’s explanations while we were driving. Additionally, at several of the sightseeing stops, the commentary began before everyone had gathered together, so some members of the group missed parts of the information. Waiting until the entire group was present before beginning the explanations, and speaking a bit louder or using a microphone, would have made the experience more engaging for everyone.

We had a wonderful day and a very good trip visiting Hakone, thanks to our knowledgeable and interesting tour guide Attary from MilkyWay Tours. Thanks for the great experience.

Attary was wonderful on this tour. He drove us to and from our hotel in Tokyo to the Mount Fuji region. There were several stops in which we were able to stop and walk around. He gave us a very informative history and explanation of each stop.

Our driver, Attary, was punctual and waiting for us exactly on time to begin our Mount Fuji tour. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day with clear skies, pleasant weather, and low humidity, and Attary did everything possible to ensure that we enjoyed every moment of it.

His knowledge of the Mount Fuji region, including the shrines, lakes, viewpoints, and local history, was impressive. Throughout the journey, he thoughtfully pointed out places of interest and shared useful information that greatly enhanced our experience.

What stood out most was his patience, kindness, and reassuring nature. My wife is afraid of deep water and would normally have avoided the speedboat ride, but Attary took the time to reassure her and make her feel comfortable. Thanks to his encouragement, she was able to enjoy one of the highlights of our trip.

Attary is a professional, knowledgeable, and caring guide who genuinely wants his guests to have a memorable experience. We highly recommend him to anyone planning a Mount Fuji tour.

Attary was a great guide and provided an excellent experience for us to see a part of Japan we would have otherwise missed! Not only did he get us to and from our destination safely and quickly, he also provided suggestions for pit stops along the way.

Our guided private tour with Attary was exceptional. He ensured we were able to see Mt. Fuji on a clear day, even offering a speed boat ride on the crystal clear lakes nearby. Lunch was an amazing place with shabu shabu at a reasonable price for 5 people. We also hoofed it up to visit the red pagoda and did some shopping. Attary was very knowledgeable, punctual, and polite. We learned so much about the area, Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this tour and especially Attary for making it memorable.
