I had a fantastic experience with Michael Stewart, particularly thanks to Libby from the sales team.
Libby was extremely helpful from start to finish. She helped me with my order, arranged fast-track delivery for me and also made sure I received a £10 discount for registering. Because of the discount, the upgraded delivery was effectively free, which was a great bonus.
The jacket arrived the very next day, with a personal message from Libby so I was really impressed with how quickly everything was handled.
Libby was friendly, professional and genuinely went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my purchase. She also made sure I received another £10 discount voucher for my next purchase, which was a lovely added touch.
Customer service like this makes a real difference. I would definitely recommend Michael Stewart and, in particular, Libby for the excellent service she provided.

I've bought many times online from this store. Always had a good experience. I got in touch about my Barbour jacket recently and they recommended that I get it rewaxed and explained how I could do it myself or send back to Barbour to get it done. I opted to buy the wax and do it myself and it came out great, pretty much as good as new. Will buy from them again, always good products and service.

I was in desperate search of a jacket my boyfriend has been wanting for the past year, however it was sold out absolutely everywhere online, including Michael Stewart. I sent an enquiry across, and a member of the team searched for one and had it requested in, for me to purchase. He kept me updated almost daily with updates on the jackets arrival and the shipping out to me, which he requested next day delivery for it so it arrived in time for the week of my boyfriends’ birthday. Never been so impressed with a retail company, he didn’t need to go through all that effort but he DID. THANK YOU SAM!!

N’ayant plus ma taille aux Nouvelles Galeries, j’ai commandé une veste à 278€. Avec les frais de port DHL de 30€ le prix devient légèrement supérieur au prix boutique mais la surprise fut 120€ supplémentaire de taxe douanière!
Le commerçant renvoie vers DHL refuse le remboursement…

Would strongly advise NEVER to buy something with this company online. Reimbursing proves to be a nightmare, it is more than 2 months ago now and I still haven't received my money back. It's a disgrace and they don't reply on emails when asking when I could receive my money back

non acquistate assolutamente da questo sito. a fronte di una spesa di 81 €uro per due polo, devo pagare 64€uro euro tra dazi e spese di spedizione, totale 145 euro. praticamente come comprarle in Italia ( scontate 80€uro). Non comprate mai.

Bought two Paul and Shark polo shirts, first one shrunk by a whole size after wash despite following care instructions perfectly. Retailer refused to help because it had been washed, so that's £200 down the drain. Never buying from here again.

Pessima esperienza, ho ordinato una giacca ed è arrivata con 116€ di dazi doganali. Deciso di fare il reso dopo più di 2 mesi mi fanno un rimborso parziale e quindi ho perso 70€ così....statene alla larga comunque sia andrete a perdere i vostri soldi. Solitamente gli inglesi sono molto precisi non mi pare questo il caso!

Have ordered from here twice in the last couple of weeks and on both occasions the online process has been simple and delivery has been speedy. Found the Belstaff and Barbour items I was looking for at a great price and will definitely be ordering from Michael Stewart again!

In merito ai dazi dall'Inghilterra secondo me si deve fare chiarezza. Ho comprato altre volte da UK (anche beni costosi come una chitarra) e purtroppo si pagano alte tasse doganali.
Vale la pena se il prodotto è fortemente scontato.
Nel mio caso ho comprato una giacca Barbour introvabile in Italia che sul sito ufficiale Barbour e in altri siti costa €480. Premetto che non l'ho trovata a prezzo basso da nessun'altra parte per il colore e la taglia che mi servivano.
Da Michael Stewart l'ho comprata a €249. Aggiungendo €20 di spedizione e €78 di tasse, l'ho pagata in totale €357 quindi molto meno dei €480 che costava sul sito.

Compré en Michael Stewart y tuve que pagar gastos de envío elevados (19,95€) y cuando llegó el paquete en destino me pedían otros 70€ de gastos de aduana. Les dije a través de muchos mails que no lo quería pagar y lo devolvía. Me acaban de hacer la devolución restando por segunda vez los gastos de envío y me restan también los gastos de aduana!!!! Si me lo hubieran explicado después de tantos y tantos mails me hubiera quedado el paquete, he perdido mucho dinero. Muy mala atención al cliente.

Vorsicht für EU-Kunden bei Bestellungen aus dem UK

Ich habe aus Deutschland bei Michael Stewart Menswear bestellt. Die Ware wurde aus dem Vereinigten Königreich versendet. Bei der Zustellung wurden zusätzliche Einfuhrabgaben verlangt. Da ich diese nicht übernehmen wollte, habe ich die Annahme verweigert. Das Paket wurde von DHL nachweislich an den Händler zurückgesendet, der den Rückerhalt auch bestätigt hat.

Trotz nicht erfolgter Lieferung wurde mir nicht der vollständige Kaufbetrag zurückerstattet. Ein Betrag von knapp 100 € wurde für Versand-, Rücktransport- und sogenannte Handlingkosten einbehalten, obwohl ich die Ware nie erhalten habe.

Der Kundenservice verweist ausschließlich auf die eigenen AGB und lehnt eine vollständige Rückerstattung ab. Eine einvernehmliche Lösung war trotz mehrfacher Kommunikation nicht möglich.

Fazit:
Für Kundinnen und Kunden aus der EU ist Vorsicht geboten. Bei Lieferungen aus dem UK können erhebliche Zusatzkosten entstehen, und im Fall einer Rücksendung scheint keine vollständige Erstattung garantiert zu sein. Ich würde außerhalb des UK nicht erneut dort bestellen.
